This place is amazing!
I ordered a blueberry rhubarb bar and cranberry scone. I've always wanted to try a desert with rhubarb in it, and normally they are made with strawberry which is a no go due to allergies. Thank you for making something so spectacular.
My first bite into the bar was pure delight. There was a creamy texture with a light crunch crust. It was just the right amount of sweet and I was delighted that it was not overbearingly sweet.
The cranberry scone was equally as delicious and everything I was expecting out of a scone.

This place was busy when we were there. Service was fast and friendly. Really good artisan baked goods! Try the challah bread.

This is a great place to stop for some fresh bread or for lunch as well! I always get their grain bowls - you can't beat the value/size/taste!

Come to enjoy fresh local grains woven into a bread lover's delight. I had a fresh baked whole grain breakfast sandwich with pesto, spinach local egg and cheese at a delectable taste and value. Don't forget to wash it down with their delicious house blend coffee with unlimited refills! Big city value with a small town flavor and price. If you love fresh baked bread this is your choice.

Always good food and fantastic service. They are very friendly. But sadly today was their last day open, 8,31,2021. The people there were the best. And, Marsha the owner is a fantastic Lady. We will miss her. As nd we will miss Branfy also. God bless u all in whatever you chose to do.

The sandwich was delicious, and even though it was fairly busy when we got there we were able to find seating for our party of four easily. we were tourists just stopping by but I could imagine coming and getting some of this delicious bread if I lived closer. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

This was our 1st stop in South Dakota, and it was amazing. Lots of bread and dessert options. Lots of samples super friendly staff! It's a local chain we will be stopping in another location if we come across one. They have a container of free ice water, no need to buy a bottle. The even filled my water bottle!!! Definitely try it you won't be disappointed

My child attended a field trip here. Marsha was so kind and attentive with the children and instructed them in the art of making bread from beginning to end. They had a great time and even got to sample the bread. We brought home a loaf of the cinnamon chip bread and it was delicious.

A clean, professional, and attentive location with great customer service. It is one of the cleanest GHBCs I’ve been to of the many I’ve visited. The young woman who helped me was very understanding about dietary constraints. She confirmed my order with the kitchen. I returned later that day for dinner to find the same kindness and customer service by a different employee. The visible kitchen was clean and the ingredient line lids were closed during the down time when I arrived.

There is also a selection of local South Dakota made jams with regionally specific fruit - chokecherry, among others.

A great place for sandwiches, fresh and delicious baked goods, soup and even dog treats for sale. A great example of the GHBC franchise.

This is our favorite place to stop and buy wonderful bread. We stop here every time we come thru Rapid City. My personal favorite is the lemon blueberry desert bread! I'm sure they have a different name to it, but it just melts in your mouth. The honey wheat is great for toast and sandwiches. They also have a wonderful fruit spreads they make fresh and can go great with anything they bake. And don't forget the cookies. They don't make it out of the parking lot before they are gone. If you need some great treats, this is a must stop!

Is there anything better than being greeted by the smell of fresh baked goods? Oh, i know, let's add friendly staff to that! I love dropping in at lunch for one of their paninis or bowls, although I almost always leave with a sweet treat too. Love taking home a fresh loaf of bread to go with dinner at home. The atmosphere is quiet if you're looking to grab lunch with a friend because it's sort of a hidden gem.

Walkable from the civic center (through the park), had a nice hot sandwich. Expect a lineup around lunch hour. Also good if you just want a loaf of bread to take home.

Great artisan bread, their pumpkin oh (a cream filled log cake) is fantastic and their whole wheat "Dakota bread" tastes great. They also serve sandwiches in the store and it is a good place for a quick bite.

Great food and amazing non-judgmental service! Great place for finding yummy food if you have specific dietary needs like vegan or gluten free diet. Very caring staff who create really welcoming environment :)

Great service and great food! The have gluten free bread for sandwiches, as well as gluten free bread and cookies in a freezer for sale. Would definitely recommend!

This is one of my favorite restaurants here. Lots of great choices. Haven't had a bad meal. Bread and sandwiches are outstanding.

This is a great place to buy bread and other sweet snacks. Their lunches are really good as well. Definitely worth stopping at for sure.
