I have been a customer of Matt since I purchased my 1988 BMW 325i convertible in 2016. He has done a remarkable job keeping this 36 year old vehicle with 140k miles extremely reliable. It never fails to start and runs so smooth. Based on Matt’s expertise, I have no worries taking this car anywhere. His pricing is fair and I am impressed at his way of explaining issues. In addition, he also services my 2014 BMW X1.

An outstanding experience working with Matt and his team! We had an on-road failure requiring towing of my vintage BMW to the shop on short notice for a cooling system failure. They provided a great towing reference, ordered parts, and had the car up and running exactly as promised. They went out of their way, above and beyond great customer service. Highly recommended..

Just moved to area and so glad we found specialist for 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Great service to fix power steering leaks and broken air intake hose. Took time to explain what was needed and then what was completed. Highly recommend.

These guys are the best and I'm luck they are right around the corner! Not only do they do a great job taking care of my BMW, they provide updates and estimates in writing on needed work and help prioritize what should be done and when. Koppinger also has a great system for communication via text and acceptance of the aforementioned clear estimates prior to conducting the work.

Top notch mechanic services with customers desires met every time. We have been taking our Mini there for years and wouldn’t imagine taking it anywhere else to have work done!

My 2007 BMW 750Li needed the valve stem seals replaced, a complicated and time consuming job that the current generation of BMW dealer mechanics does not know how to perform. As I searched for an independent shop to do this job, I heard a common refrain: "We no longer do that job since our senior mechanic retired." Other shops said they would do it, but offered only vague estimates of the cost. I was delighted when Koppinger Euro Service promptly sent me a detailed estimate. A phone conversation with Matt convinced me that it was worth travelling 180 miles from my home in Athens, Georgia to his shop.

As I dropped my car off, Matt noticed that my ride back to Athens had a low tire. On closer inspection, Matt saw that the left front tire was severely worn on the inside edge due to an improper alignment. If Matt had not caught this and inflated the tire, we could have had a blow out on the Interstate. Not many mechanics pay attention to matters such as this and I am grateful for Matt's diligence.

When I picked my car up, Matt took me into the garage and showed the parts that had been replaced and carefully explained the repairs. He also went over the invoice in great detail. It followed the estimate to the penny, except for the unanticipated replacement of worn parts discovered during the service. Some shops would have just done the additional repairs and then presented a much larger bill than anticipated, but Matt kept me informed about the need for additional work and gave me the opportunity to approve those expenses before the work was completed.

After the long journey back to Athens, Matt texted me to make sure that I had arrived home safely. In short, Matt cares about his customers and provides first -class service. It was worth the time and expense to get to and from Black Mountain, and I highly recommend Koppinger Euro Service.

Really appreciated everyone at Koppinger who helped to find parts for a Europe market e30. I feel lucky to have such great people with deep knowledge close by. Thank you.

Second visit July 12-15 included a full going over of the vehicle and correcting a multitude of issues. The largest being replacement of the blown Supercharger and set up.
The car is in the best condition it's been in years. The miles put on this car are hard miles mostly on track or autocrosses. I took the car to Bristol Motor Speedway Sunday and won the Extreme Street A class by 3/10ths on a second. The car feels extremely solid .
