Great food at reasonable prices and we also had fantastic service. The seafood was fresh and well prepared.

Dinner was awesome!!! I haven't had sea food that good since going to the beach!!!

This place is great... Dinner is always great. The server had a lot going on but her son jumped in and helped her out. Food was Awesome as Always!

First time visit they had plenty of parking and seating inside. I didn’t see a patio option but well spaced inside. The staff and servers were polite and friendly. The food came out quickly and was what we were expecting. Group favorites were the broiled shrimp, ribeye steak, hush puppies. They seem to do a better job in the kitchen on the broiled vs fried for our groups tastes but over all good food. Cheers!!

The hushpuppies were the best, by far I've ever had! My Greek salad was great and my friend's flounder was as well. Server was great, too!

The food was great. The service was awesome! We had baby shrimp, perch and crab cakes. I absolutely loved the shrimp. I even tried the coleslaw which I've never liked and was surprised that it wasn't repulsive. The portion sizes w were generous.
From the outside it doesn't look like much but the inside is spacious and clean with an authentic atmosphere. I will be going back for sure. If you like fish I highly recommend it. I look forward to trying the steak next time.

This was my 1st time visiting & they had my favorite as a Thursday Special “Flounder & Shrimp” Yum! it was So AMAZING, light, fresh hot & every bite was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful, Clean & positive. My waitress Kris was very accommodating.
She recommended I take home a desert, I was hooked with the “Homemade Apple strudel cheesecake”.So YUM!
This place knows how to serve up a ding dong dish & desert! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I highly recommend Coach Fish House. I can’t wait to bring my family & friends.

Great service and great food. One note: The hushpuppies are the size of marbles... tiny little unsatisfying marbles. Our potatoes were pretty small too. Not sure what the logic with that is, but I'm guessing it's to save money and increase profits.

We were there on 10/15 while on a journey to the Southern end of the Parkway. We were well tended to by Stephanie, who was very busy but just as nice as can be (Thanx S. for the cinnamon sugar on the sweet potato 🥔!!) The food was delicious and just made our trip even nicer. WE WILL go again if in the area!!!

OMG! The salt and pepper catfish is soooo good. Very friendly staff, our waitress gave us just the right amount of attention. During our 3 night stay in Asheville, NC, this is the restaurant we will return to the next time we are in town and recommend to family and friends. Next time may get a 2 piece dinner instead of three, the xatfish portions are so generous.

I took my niece here for the first time, and she loved it! She comes from Charlotte, and they have seafood places there, but she said this might be her favorite now. 😍

Originally went there today for some seafood, but was told by the waitress that the steaks are great too. So I had to find out for myself, and I'm glad I did. The ribeye was very tender, juicy, and seasoned up right, and the popcorn shrimp was peppered and salted just right. Excellent meal!!!

Don't let the exterior fool you!!! We trusted our instincts and rolled the dice on the possibility of a good dinner. We were NOT disappointed!!! The salad before the entree was the most crisp, fresh salad we've had in years! Our waitress was attentive, but not annoying... And the steak was as close to perfection as we've experienced outside of grilling at home. You should definitely try this restaurant!

First of all, the fried oysters were amazing they were huge, and perfectly fried! The fried flounder was good too! It was $15 at lunch for fried oyster/flounder combo. Everything comes with hush puppies and coleslaw and you choose your potato side. We had a baked sweet potato and sweet potato fries (both of which were delicious). This place is a old-timey gem inside and I though the “outdated” decor was adorable and it was a breath of fresh air to go somewhere affordable and less “trendy”. It was very clean inside with fast and friendly service. We got our meal in no time. $26 total for two entrees was a steal. I can’t believe we didn’t try this place sooner, we will be back for lots and lots of fried oysters.

Took my Mother for her birthday. She loved it. Very nice menu.

Vacationing in NC, read reviews and decided to try. Husband and I both had seafood, would definitely go back when vacationing close by again.

Great family-friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and a great value. Our waitress, Tina, was very friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond for our picky eaters to see if the chef could make something that wasn't on the menu. Next time I'm traveling in the area, I would definitely come back!

Great hometown restaurant.
Everything ordered was hot and fresh with each item having its own individual texture, and taste.
The way it should be. Prices were reasonable. I'm still longing to go back and i almost went back the next day! Clean and friendly!
