Cool spot with delicious food. Chef was friendly and helped explain different options available to me. There were several vegetarian options, which was great to see. They had indoor and outdoor seating. Small parking lot, but it seemed big enough for the amount of seating available there. I enjoyed my food. I would definitely go back.

Great service and exceptional tacos. I especially loved the Ultimate Cheese! And, they had several vegetarian options. Yummy! Will return.

Love coming to this place. The Saturday burger special is so good and their tacos are delicious. Ordered the burger for lunch, egg, bacon, potato breakfast taco and brisket and egg breakfast taco for dinner. Their salsa is the best! Don’t forget to get a taco punch card.

The food really stood out! I haven’t ever had tacos like that before and the salsa was delicious- they should sell them by the jar. It would be a good Christmas gift!

Was working in the area, seem like one of the only solid options near by. We definitely made the right choice stopping here. Got the Veggie Taco plate, packed full of delicious grilled veggies. Came with a side of smoked refried beans that were probably my favorite ever. If in the area, I would highly recommend checking this place out for a fresh and tasty meal.

I had a spiritual moment eating here and the food was delicious. Has to be the best tacos I’ve ever had alongside the chips and salsa.

Delicious!! Fresh ingredients. Had a queso fresco taco (think it might have been a special menu item today). Food was very well seasoned and came with a generous portion.

This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch! The veggie plate is absolutely delicious and healthy, too! Hands down the best taco place in the area!

We always eat here when we are visiting Black Mountain. Delicious, healthy tacos with all sort of add-ons such as awesome homemade queso. Reasonable prices and sustainable ingredients too. What’s not to like? Highly recommended.

These are some of the best tacos we've had in black mountain and beat any taco place in Asheville ! Delicious and wholesome ingredients. We wish they were open more!

Breakfast tacos were awesome! My wife and I loved the amount of food we got. The salsa for the tacos was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Outside dining only, but the food was lovely. Order at the window for take away or eating on the porch. Definitely coming back.

Stopped by for a quick to go lunch. Ordering was easy, food was ready in 5 minutes or so.

Had a bacon and egg with roasted potatoes and a sausage and egg with roasted potatoes. As I left, I said "smells good", she said "it is good". And she was right! Everything was nicely seasoned and those potatoes are so good.

Love LOVE Clean Plate! Wonderful local spot for breakfast and lunch tacos on the outskirts of downtown BMT. Food is made with love and from local and organic ingredients. The new queso fresco special is a favorite and their house-made chips and queso is so so good! Sunny outdoor seating and a beautiful indoor dining space for cooler days. A true gem! Thank you for providing our community with such delicious food!

I finally got a chance to try out The Clean Plate. The hours are a little quirky, but it is so worth being persistent. They are understaffed just like so many businesses, but still very friendly and accommodating. I had one of the best breakfast tacos ever, and I have a long love affair with b'fast tacos! The home fries are like your mom used to make, seasoned perfectly, crispy and cooked just this side of burnt. Don't be put off by the reasonable prices, one taco is a meal. Do your self a favor and seek this one out.
