Firewheel Dentistry for Kids

We've taken our kids to Dr. Julie since they were babies. She and her staff are great at putting kids at ease, and make going to the dentist a positive experience. They met my boys where they were, at their level, and address any anxiety or fear with compassion and understanding. Even when my child is scared, they are able to provide the treatment necessary for good oral health without it feeling forced upon my child. I highly recommend Dr. Julie to anyone!

We have been using Dr Julie for 5 years now! After a poor experience with a different children’s dental office in a neighboring city, we found this dentist. Even with my child who has some sensory issues, she has been nothing but kind, patient, and amazing! As my 6 year old said today “best dentist ever!”

I can never say enough good things about Dr. Julie and her staff. From the moment we walk into the office, it is evident that Dr. Julie goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and friendly environment for the kids. Dr. Julie's exceptional skills and genuine care for her young patients have made our visits to the dentist an absolute joy. She has a remarkable ability to make my kids feel safe and comfortable, which is crucial for building trust and ensuring a positive dental experience. Dr. Julie and her staff are so kind and compassionate. We also never have to wait for too long. Growing up, I did not have a good association with going to the dentist. It was important to me that my children not share my same experience. I have four children ages 6-13 and they all love coming in for their dental appointments, even for treatment! I strongly recommend this office.

Dr. Julie and her staff are the greatest! We can’t recommend enough! They are so encouraging and compassionate with the littles. Dr. Julie is patient and kind, making the children feel right at ease.

We love Dr. Julie!!! We were sad when our insurance became out of network with her and went to another dentist. We did not have a good experience and came running back to her! The staff is so nice, she’s great with the kids and the office doesn’t feel like a traditional dentist. Even with being out of network with our insurance we love her enough to deal with it. We are never going to another dentist!

I have been taking my daughters - 9 and 11 - since my oldest was a baby. We adore Dr Julie! She is so great with the kids and that’s saying a lot given that one has high anxiety and the other cannot sit still. We still see Dr Julie even though we moved over an hour away. ❤

We absolutely love this dental office. They are incredibly thoughtful with every detail and make each child feel special. My girls have been patients for 2 years now and I am so grateful they have Dr.Julie and her team to grow up with.

Dr. Julie and her team always do a great job of taking care of my girls and their dental needs. We started coming to Firewheel Dentistry for Kids when we lived in Wylie and we continue to come here even though we moved to McKinney. The care that they provide is definitely worth the drive.

Dr. Julie is great with children, she has seen my boys since they were toddlers. Her staff is very friendly too.

Thank goodness for Dr. Julie!!! My son hit his mouth/adult front tooth on the bottom of the pool and had a big chip in it. I wasn’t sure how bad it was or not. I called the office on a Saturday around 1pm and thankfully they were open. We headed over there and they were able to squeeze us in for a last minute appointment. They did x-rays and Dr. Julie worked past their closing time to squeeze us in. She calmed us down about the injury and suggested we wait a few weeks before doing any dental work. Highly recommend.

Dr Julie is so sweet and personable. My son loves her . Highly recommend her. The staff is awesome too.

I can't say enough about what an amazing experience Firewheel Dentistry has been for my children. My daughter in particular struggles with anything medical or dental-related, and suffers from extreme anxiety towards it. Before moving to Texas we had tried two other times to have her cavity filled and her tongue tie resolved, but each time ended in tears and no resolution. After my kids saw Dr. Julie for the first time at a routine cleaning, my daughter told me how much more she liked this dentist and how much better she made her feel-- and actually allowed her to work on her mouth. Following the procedure there were a few complications (no fault of the dentist or other staff), and Dr. Julie and her office have followed up every day since, even giving me her personal cell phone to call if anything arose after hours. In today's day and age when it feels like that "human connection" component is thing of days past, it is such a refreshing thing to experience a provider who really cares about each one of her patients. I cannot say enough good things about this practice; thank you Dr. Julie!

Dr Julie is amazing. All my boys go to here and she is just so calming and patient with all kids. Absolutely love her 😊

We LOVE Dr. Julie and her staff. My kids are very anxious kids and they will sit still for Dr. Julie. They are always smiling and happy to work with my kids. My kids always make sure we are going to this office when I mention going to the dentist. My kiddos are 10, 8, 5 I trust them with my kid’s dental care.
