McKinney Coffee Company

I am a big fan of trying new coffee shops every time they open, but I haven't had much luck around Collin County and usually prefer driving to Dallas for my caffeine fix. However, this place is really good, and had a lot of creative drink options as well as good bakery. I will be stopping in again.

Well this vanilla-caramel iced latte with almond milk was so good I was basically chugging it!! {hence the almost empty pic} Their syrups are house made which deserves 5 stars in and of itself! Excellent coffee and great service!

This place has amazing coffee and food menu.I had Cortado and brunch. It was very good. Staff is very friendly and patient.

Go!!!!!!! The baristas are still getting going bit the coffee is on point. Much better than the Starbucks down the street and much more of a family friendly place. You will love it!

Coffee shops have been the go-to for a little work-at-home away from home. This one is new, but deserves a lot more attention. It nice, pleasant, quiet and uncrowded, in contrast to others I've seen recently. They could afford better music (though I'm sure the staff would change it on request) and it would be really nice if the pastries had prices. (They all looked good, but the chocolate muffin I chose was divine)

My husband and I visited here for the first time today and really enjoyed it! My chai latte was excellent, and the chocolate muffin was as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and makes it a nice place to hang out. I can see how more seating might be needed in the future as this place becomes even more popular. Can't wait to go back!

As noted, this is a new neighborhood coffee shop. Not to dog the mega-chains, but this is not a factory style coffee shop. More like the Cheers bar from the television program, but without the beer. Casual, friendly, comfortable. I enjoy their cafe mochas and their pricing is very fair. The staff is very friendly. If you want the feel and flavor of the neighborhood coffee shop ... you need to stop in! Support a truly local business.

Brand new coffee shop in town, well priced, friendly staff, very tasty coffee! They’re still working out some of the kinks as the staff is still learning and getting used to the new store. However, I can tell they are being taught very well and look forward to what’s in store for this place. They definitely have a new regular here!

Stopped here yesterday for the first time since we just moved to the area and got an iced coffee. It was delicious! The decor and ambiance inside is perfect. I also saw that they have brunch so my family and I are heading there again today to try it out. So excited to have this sweet local place nearby.

I am not really a "Review Guy" but this little shop is so easy to support. I chatted with the owner today about hosting a private event here and she was so warm and accommodating. Got to talking about the shop's origins and learned they are nearing their 1st year anniversary. Am going to tell all my friends to bring their friends and the like. The coffee and service are outstanding and the shop offers home made treats and goodies from other local bakers and chefs. Brought some jam home to my wife and she is hooked! Will be back for sure and am already looking forward to having my event there next month.

Went here for the first time today with my wife. I haven't been to a large number of coffee shops in the DFW area (maybe 5 or 7), but I think this one has made my favorite latte so far. Great to have an alternative to Starbucks, and the coffee here is much better than what I've had at Starbucks.

I’m not one to post reviews but I had to share because I love coffee shops and this one is definitely one of my favorites in McKinney! I come in about 3-4 times a week, the barista, McKenna is really sweet and really helpful. She is quick, attentive and gives the best recommendations! The first time I went there, she recommended this latte drink with cinnamon and honey and because I don’t drink dairy I went with almond milk! It has now become a shop favorite and I come in and get it every time now! I love McKinney Coffee Co., this place is no joke! My drink is always warm and tastes so yummy! 10/10 recommend!

Love this place. The coffee was blacker than my step mom's heart, and definitely made me feel right at home on their couch. Lady who served me was very nice, she foamed the milk very well.

My wife and I have been wanting to check out McKinney Coffee Company since it opened and we were not disappointed! I had the vanilla latte and the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant and there were amazing! My wife had a maple macchiato with almond milk, she was so happy they were able to accommodate for various dietary restrictions. Fantastic, cute place to hang out, can’t wait to go back to try more of their food and other beverages.

First off, McKinney (especially the Stonebridge Ranch area) needed and needs more local shops like the McKinney Coffee company.

The atmosphere is a cozy spot that is welcoming the moment you walk in. I ordered the vanilla latte and a blueberry scone, and both of them were great.

I will be coming back and using this spot as a great place to relax reading the newspaper or as a quick business meeting spot.

If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop in.

This coffee shop might as well be the greatest treasure in McKinney, Texas. The latte's are incredible. The coffee is the farthest thing from a basic Folgers coffee. The counters and work stations are always so clean. I can see my reflection in the coffee maker when I am sitting at the bar. I don't go to the restroom to use the mirror, I just use the shiny and clean surfaces behind the counter. Nothing beats the hot tea options they have. The staff and service are incredible. I have never once experienced unprofessionalism or confusion. They are courteous and very knowledgeable about their services and products. McKenna has a special latte that really needs to become a menu item. Ask for it when you go in. Thank you God for McKinney Coffee Company.

I mean I don’t think giving 5 stars can even do this amazing coffee shop justice. In fact, it doesn’t at all. 5 little yellow stars can’t reflect how much this coffee shop means to me. No way. I will be contacting Google corporate and asking for more stars I can leave for this place. When I say this place is my favorite coffee in McKinney... The pure variety of great tasting and beautiful drinks I see when I come in the shop makes me feel like I am in a heavenly botanical garden. I hear birds chirping and angles voices when I walk in. Every drink on the menu has a unique taste, something even a coffee enthusiast like me is in absolute in AWE of every sip. Still to this day, every first sip I take becomes the best day of my life. My wedding day won’t even come close. I don’t even want to get up every morning , let alone go to work anymore without stopping by and getting a drink from them. The funny part is I haven’t even mentioned the quality of tea they offer. One of the best cups of tea I’ve ever had in my life. The Boston Tea party can’t even compete with the McKinney Coffee Company Tea. It taste like honey flowing from heaven. Life changing. Aside from the drinks, the staff and environment is 10/10. I feel like John Mayer on his birthday when I come in, everyone welcomes me and is excited to serve me a drink or delicate tasty pastry. I can’t even get through writing this review without wanting to go, with that being said I’m getting my car keys now and heading over there. Best shop in McKinney, go try it. Ask for McKenna’s special latte.

Had overnight guests and wanted to steal away for a quick breakfast before their flight home today. Had no idea this little coffee shop had a full breakfast/brunch menu...that's available daily!! We went in for a muffin or scone and wound up with pancakes, omelettes, and this amazing veggie taco. Wow! Services was great and the food delicious. I just learned today their owners also own E.J. Wills Gastropub next door, another surprise to me. Since I love that restaurant, it now makes sense the food was so good. Found my new breakfast spot and the coffee and hot cocoa were also fantastic.

I love this coffee shop. Staff starts making my drink the instant I park my car, before I even walk in it halfway done. My only concern is they got rid of the electronic tipping and I never have cash. Would be great to show my favorite baristas some love....
