Mckinney Post Office

I came in today for a money order the first time, the lady who helped me was very patient and kind, she gave me instructions on where I should put the correct information voluntarily, I really thank her for a smooth process and her kind help!

Allen and the other lady (I did not catch her name) working today (12/12/22) were so wonderful I had to write a review. When I arrived first this morning, my package was large and going to be expensive to ship, so the lady working patiently gave me tips to make my box smaller since it wasn’t full. I came back later this afternoon and Allen checked me out and was genuinely so excited that I saved over $50 by trimming down my box. I have had many unpleasant experiences with post office workers being short tempered and almost annoyed with me, and I know the workers are overworked and rundown a lot during the holidays. That is not the experience I had today! Both Allen and the other lady were cheery, kind, and helpful at the beginning and end of their all day shift (and I doubt they took any breaks as the lines were LONG). Just wanted to share my positive experience with two awesome employees today!

Never had an issue at this location getting my packages out.

My daughter and I went to drop a few boxes and packages off. I had everything taped and needed one strip of tape on 1 label for a package.
I was told by the white female postal worker that I had to buy a whole roll of tape for that small strip.
So I took the package home and tapped the label on there.
Sent my daughter back in today and she is the only black customer.
She is literally watching the same white female postal worker kindly tape up packages and boxes and not even mentioning to the white customers they need to buy the tape.
McKinney Post office on Virginia do better.

They are supposed to open at 8am but they never do. Service takes forever. Expect to wait long hours if you are going to the package pick up window. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ve never been to a post office that’s this slow. They need to hire more employees.

Horrible customer service. Apparently a package has been sitting there for multiple days without being shipped to me. I have called every half hour on the hour and nobody picks up the phone. I’d be surprised if anybody actually works there.

This post office is always short of staff
If this was a privately run business ran this way this business would be closed. Should not have to wait 20 min to mail certified mail. Only one person working the counter. The wait was out the door boxes pile up everywhere what a joke

I AM SO MAD I MOVED HERE. THREE IMPORTANT PACKAGES NOW MISSING AND YOU PEOPLE WONT INVESTIGATE THE CARRIER WHO IS STEALING MY MAIL! SHOWING IT'S BEEN DELIVERED AND THEN DENYING IT WAS . WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? SERIOUSLY? THIS IS A FEDERAL CRIME! I HAVE INFORMED DELIVERY AND YOU PEOPLE STILL DENY IT? WOW I WILL MOVE THIS INTO LEGISLATION NOW BECAUSE IM DONE WITH YOU HIRING PEOPLE THAT YOU DON'T TRAIN OR WHO ARE THIEVES!

I ordered my package this month on the 15th and it moved to Texas and has not moved since I’ve tried calling to see what is up because I know after a certain day it will probably end up going back

Absolutely absurd service. Directed me to wait at a door for mail pickup, but no one monitors. Rang bell as directed for 12 minutes right after opening (9am). Then, the lady brought me a package that was not mine twice! She finally came back the third time saying she could not find my letter. I walked into the other portion of the PO and finally got someone that actually helped me. Completely horrible customer service! No wonder the postal service loses money, their entire process is inefficient and lacks intelligent design. Their workers are either beat down or just incompetent.

They are completely unorganized. I had An appointment and still had to wait over an hour to see someone. They are unfriendly and don’t seem to care.

Horrible customer service and I receive inaccurate information. I was expecting a delivery and I received notification that a package was going to be returned back to sender. It said “no such number”. I called the post office to see what’s going on where I spoke with a Brian and he said that meant the carrier was unable to deliver due to incomplete address and my package was being returned. I asked if they could hold the package and he immediately made it seemed like it was too late but said he could check if I wanted him to. So I said yes and then he was like oh the carrier still has it, it hasn’t been sent back yet. He then said they would hold it and
I would get an email when I could pick it up. Well I never got an email and the package updates were never updated. I checked the tracking and it says it’s being returned to sender when the guy said they would hold it. This is ridiculous and bad customer service!

I really loathe that we are basically held hostage in using the antiquated USPS because they just seem to careless anymore. Packages that have to come via USPS are always late or misdirected. I get my neighbors mail on a regular bases and today a prepaid return in a small bag addressed to Stitch Fix was left in my box but they did put the flag down, just ridiculous.

The clerk who works with Alan usually, heavy set with glasses, is so unfriendly and probably shouldn't be in customer service. I've cut her slack so many times, but today she was so rude and dismissive of me. I'll wait my turn and see Alan next time or go somewhere else. She's clerk number 09 on my receipt.

This my second time I send something and the lose it ,from the sam person I also ,so 🤷.

So sad. Tried calling for DAYS and never an answer. A package is soon to be returned to me that was to deliver to family in McKinney Texas. Tracking on USPS and all it says is "incomplete address". So now I wait for the package to come back to me. What a waste of time and money

My new drivers license was returned undeliverable back Texas Dept Public Safety. Why? A second one has been mailed May 11. Pls deliver as you are the only reason it was undeliverable in the first place. Timberridge has complained so many times regarding poor service.
