INCREDIBLE STORE. Oh my goodness. I have been here twice and the ladies that work here (Christine & Jan) are so so nice and hospitable. They answer any and all questions quickly and easily re products, returns/exchanges. You can tell they really love what they do and love serving the customers which really enhances the shopping experience! My most recent purchase, I bought this darling blue jay journal that is made from 100% RECYCLED waste and is a fair trade journal (I believe coming from Thailand? I disposed of the little piece of paper that explained where it came from.) It is soooo stunning and was worth it! Only $18 for this? I am definitely coming back for more as they had tons of other fair trade journals with different wild life and gorgeous flowers on the cover. I also bought this same journal that had a hummingbird on the cover and gave it to my neighbor whose favorite bird is a hummingbird. This makes an excellent gift for yourself, friends, neighbors, or grandparents- really anyone who loves nature! (MOST of us!) I also got two of these little stones with bible verses. A very affordable and kind gift for yourself or anyone who could use the encouragement. This store has everything you could imagine that you would need to make your house a comfortable and beautiful safe haven for your and your family. Will be back soon!!!

What a beautiful shop with so many amazing unique items to choose from all over the world. I was looking for a special item due to the health diagnosis I'm on and God came thru in a big way by what I found! If your in Austin make a point of stopping here. I will treasure what I found forever!

After my mom and I had a birthday lunch at The Oasis today, we decided to check out Art Escape nextdoor. I'm so glad we did! There are an almost endless variety of beautiful creations from talented artists in a wildly diverse range of media. I love that they focus on supporting fair trade artists and businesses all over the world. I was so inspired by this place that I plan to go back next week for some way early holiday shopping! The employee who helped me (with the star tattoos) was super friendly and informative as well! This is a wonderful business to support.

Lovely store with amazing art, crafts and jewelry, some by local artists. You're going to want to stop by here for gifts or something for yourself. Wonderful service in a relaxing atmosphere, Sydney really made my day! We discussed art, decor and some great background on several of the artists. She is a gem! Thank you Art Escape and thank you Sydney for making our drive our to The Oasis so special.

My girlfriend and I visited the shop in September and we had such a pleasant experience. We were so impressed in the quality and beauty of the products. I wanted to buy everything! While we were browsing, Sydney came over to us to help us with any questions. She was so nice and personable, very helpful. She really made the experience so pleasant. Thank you Sydney!

This is one of our favorite places! They have such beautiful items! Everything is unique and things from many different places! If you need unique gifts or are buying for someone who has everything, this is your place! And so much variety!! The employees are great at filling you in on everything and the origins! Much is handmade in different countries! As an added bonus, many of the items we purchased gave back money to the countries they came from!! We knocked out the majority of our Christmas shopping in one place!

This place is amazingly beautiful, every single item is unique and gorgeous and the best of the experience is the most beautiful soul, Sydney... she was so helpful, so friendly and with such charisma that I just had to go back to thank her for her recommendation. Wonderful art items and very friendly staff! If you love unique pieces of art, this is the place to go! We bought a cat wall art made of mother of pearl and metal. Love it! ❤

I live 190 miles from artscape and I make journeys there because they have an incredibly unique collection. Reasonably priced. The staff clearly love working there too. I could shop there for hours and never explore it all. Their fair trade products really show their ethics as certainly elevated.

What a beautiful store! While waiting for a table at the Oasis at Lake Travis we discovered The Art Escape. This store has gorgeous jewelry, pottery, pocket knives, watches, purses, art work, and more things than I could ever possibly list here. Make sure you check out the art gallery in the back of the store. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. It was a great way to pass the time while waiting on a table, and we even went back after we ate to make sure we didn't miss anything.

I stopped in this store on a road trip I made to Austin. It made my mouth drop. They have soo many beautiful artifacts/ jewelry and interesting finds that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I would say it’s worth what they are asking for because each piece looks priceless! I would definitely recommend shopping for yourself or a nice gift for someone else! I wasn’t even harassed by sales people when I walked in. They let you admire the pieces on your own. Love it!

What an amazing store!! This was my first time to Austin, Tx, and we stopped at the Oasis for lunch, but the highlight was this marvelous store! So many unique things for sale! The salespeople were so helpful, informative, and generous with their time. I’m very delighted with the purchases I made for myself and to gift to others. I urge anyone who can to pay a visit, and I can’t wait to return!!

Indeed with outstanding array of gifts from local and international artists; I got a table lamp and some jewelry which continue to remind me how such craftmaship of artists everywhere give joy. Elegant, one of a kind gifts at affordable prizes.. The owner and their staff are kind and friendly.

Fantastic Art Gallery/artisan market! I spent a half hour in there while waiting for my table at the Oasis, and was compelled to go back after dinner because of the huge variety of top quality handmade items. By far the best way to spend your time outside of the Oasis. Highly recommend, and I will be back.

I can’t get over this amazing shop! Full of artists’ creations from around the globe...Mom got an awesome handmade purse, I picked up a pottery piece (gorgeous) present for a birthday, and I’ve got my eye on this stunning lamp...never seen anything like it. Do I like this shop. Uh...YES!

The Art Escape is not the usual art store, where you only buy beautiful art, it is an experience. It is food for the soul! It is a place to be astonished by the creativity of people throughout the world. It is a place where creativity shines. Johan and Loela go out of their way to find the needle in that haystack art. We were met with friendliness and enthusiasm.

I was really impressed with this store as soon as I went inside. Everything is handmade and it has a great selection of artist around the world, you’ll find great gifts and quality art for your home.

Such a beautiful space, I had an amazing experience with all the art and specially the wind chimes, the owners are AMAZING . Will come back
