Have been going to this bookstore for 25 years and love it. They have a huge selection of used books and records. Service has been constant and staff are always friendly and helpful. Great place to browsing for all kinds of books.

Love this location too. Especially because its right next to the goodwill which also sells a variety of used books.. all In great condition. So it’s pretty cool to just go and enjoy some retail therapy.

I saw this big poodle sitting in an aisle reading with this girl 🐶The walls in the men's bathroom very much disagree with each other lol had a great time here definitely hope to go back there was also live music! So many books, so little time. Great prices, great selection, excellent parking.
As a traveller I had to be really picky about my choices so as not to overload my suitcase.

I've loved every half price books but I especially love this place because it's the one I've spent the most time in. Not only do they have all forms of literature for great prices, they also have a range of knick knacks like toys, board games, and posters. I've bought books here but my favorite thing is the drawer they have in the back nook of "collectors items" that's full of printmaking, posters, postcards, magazine clippings, and photographs. Everything is $1-3 and great to decorate my room with.

Everyone who worked there had confidence in customers who came in with backpacks, and bags. Allow them to carry them while searching for a good book to buy and snuggle near a fireplace to read their newly bought book. The climate outside that day was a good day to buy a book & read it near a toasty fireplace. When I enter this place I get lost in my imagination.

I really liked the setup of this store. Lots of selections and there is a Goodwill right next door which is another favorite place of mine to shop. Found some wonderful items here and there. Definitely adding to my regular shopping sprees.

I love it. They got books at half price and mini games, puzzles, you can Also bring your dog here . My only complaint is if they have more good collection of non fictional books.

Love this location, has a huge selection of books, music and other fun stuff. There’s often a man outside busking with a violin which is lovely! And it’s right next to a Goodwill so I usually go to both when I’m in the area.

This is the best used book store around. Employees are relaxed and helpful. Looking for a book? Check up front and they can check not only their inventory, but also sister locations.
It is well-organized with signs clearly identifying sections. There's a great kids section in the back and rare book room too. The store is very chill; it's very peaceful walking thru the aisles. You can buy records, CDs, and DVDs, along with your books. And, of course, you can sale of of those to the store. Bring your photo ID, drop off your items, and spend some time enjoying the store while your items are evaluated.
Can't forget that they also carry games and some toys, as well as a variety of book-related and book-inspired items.

Book stores are dangerous, used book stores more so, and used book stores of this size (volume and count) triply dangerous points of acquisition. Vast selection. Despite applying significant self restraint I found way too much and left the store with more than would fit in my carry-on luggage, having the rest catch up with me a few weeks later. The store I was in had hard and soft cover fiction and non-fiction books, vinyl, CDs, DVDs, and perhaps some other things in parts of the store I didn't reach.

Love going to this store to find old records & CD's!!! Always neat and organized. Bravo!

I could go anywhere in Austin to get new or used books. I LOVE this Half Price Books location. The staff are excellent, patient and always happy to help me track something down. I find a new gem every time I go there.

The store is bigger than the other half price bookstore I've been to the one on North Lamar it's way bigger and they're both very nice but this one's nicer too and the staff friendly and there's so much their old stuff and stuff I mean it's just a great store I'm glad they still have a book stores around because I love them.

I love this place!!! I could spend the whole day here. From the people that are organizing and putting up books, to the person at the register, you guys are awesome!

Nice clean location with a surprisingly dense selection for such a small store. The collectibles area is especially impressive.

I've successfully used the store to find half price copies of classics for the purposes of annotation. I would recommend looking here first to save few bucks.

I was impressed with the nice and polite while a rude demanding customer came in to sell books, this guy was just wild but the people just kept calm and explained the procedure on selling books,man to be polite to this guy was an impossible task they deserve to be commended, well you guys are great 👍

Huge selection with rare antique books. They also have a large selection of newly published books. Would definitely recommend!
