The place was full, our waiter Cashmere who was so sweet and respectful kindly asked us to be patient but it didn't take long for us to get everything we ordered, and it was worth the little wait. Everything was delicious!
We had raw otsters, the shrimp creole, creole combo, and po' boy dressed. I hope to come back tomorrow!
Great service and great food 👌

What a great place to have great food while in the Bourbon Street/French Quarter area! I had the Louisiana Crawfish bread as a starter and the Taste of New Orleans for my main. Both delicious! The prices are a little cheaper than what you would get for the same food on bourbon Street! Overall a great place and must try when visiting New Orleans.

We went to Mr Ed's just for the charbroiled oysters, based on a recommendation, and we weren't disappointed. The oysters were perfect. Light garlic butter, with thin parmesan crust. Delicious! We also had a bowl of their Creole Gumbo, which was so good. The service was quick and the staff were very polite and helpful. Mr Ed's is definitely worth a visit when in town.

The restaurant was extremely busy with a party of 25 upstairs who our waitress was handling by herself, despite this Brittany was extremely attentive, she allowed me to taste test two of the wines before deciding on one. When I couldn't finish my dinner the box she brought out included utensils that I wouldn't have had at my hotel (it's the little things).
On top of the extremely excellent service, the food was phenomenal. The Rockefeller oysters have destroyed my life and I will never recover. Highly recommended.

This place did not disappoint. I was specifically looking for somewhere with good oysters and Mr. Ed’s didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious! Roy, our server, was great. Their Hurricane is a must.

What a delightful restaurant. The food is good and the service was the friendliest and most attentive of the restaurants we visited in Nola. We tried the Louisiana Crawfish Pies, the Creole Redfish, and the Creole Gumbo. All the dishes were well seasoned, piping hot, and the portions were generous enough for us to share. Our server, Scott W. (according the receipt) was an absolute delight. He was friendly, super attentive, and was kind enough to not only give us recommendations on places to visit, but also asked around to give us recommendations for a good slice of pecan pie - something we really wanted to try for some reason, but Mr. Ed's doesn't offer. If you can get a seat in the upstairs dining area, take it - it's a bit quieter upstairs and just a pleasant place to sit. It's a restaurant we'd visit again when we're in the area.

Cute little 2 story restaurant with super friendly and nice staff. There is probably always a line to get in though! We tried the fried alligator, the seafood platter, and the charbroiled oysters. I love raw oysters, and I'm not a big fan of cooked ones, BUT these charbroiled oysters were amazing!!! It comes with a piece of garlic bread, which was also very delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.

BLAST OF FLAVOR! Food here is so flavorful and fresh. Trust me when I say order the Red Beans & Rice... You'll die and go-to heaven after eating these. Another must have is the chargrilled oysters which are a meal in themselves if you get the dozen. Been to other nearby restaurants that are 3x more expensive with food that doesn't touch Mr.Eds!

Got a dozen raw oysters, blackened redfish and crawfish etouffee along with shrimp and grits. Nice environment and service was on point!

Indulge in the soulful flavors of New Orleans at Mr. Ed’s. Their jambalaya is a spicy sensation, and the charbroiled oysters are an absolute must-try, bursting with smoky goodness.

Brittany was great!! She took great care of us. We had the fried fish poboy, red beans and rice, fried alligator, and oysters. The bloody Marys were delicious.

We had a dozen of the iced raw and a dozen of the charbroiled and they were both delicious. The staff were friendly and would definitely come back to this location for my oysters!
UPDATE Sept 2023: Oysters were still as amazing and the server was phenomenal at her job and very attentive!

Casual restaurant. We couldn't eat there but carried out - twice - so couldn't try the raw oysters. The redfish was good but the oysters stole the show. If you like your oysters cooked, try the Rockefeller and Bienville - large and packed with toppings!! Added to our return list. Highly recommend.
