I came to NOLA for a friends birthday trip and it was nothing short of amazing. It is nice to have a place to stay that it close to just about everything, nothing over a 20-30 min drive. The service was 10/10, Danielle and Suge were great and very thorough with showing us how to get into our building, suggesting restaurant and the best party spots.

I would recommend anyone to stay here, the bathroom was clean, including the shower. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot hot. The area is quiet at night and not too many people just sitting around outside the building.

Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Danielle was very welcoming and made my group very comfortable. We arrived early for our check in, but no issues. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and start enjoying ourselves. Staff was very friendly.

I really love my comfortable bed and the good size room. The room itself has everything that you need, it is cozy and clean.
The hotel location is perfect, make everything easily walking distance in the French quarter area.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Have to try their “Mardi Gras” coffee at the lobby!
Would recommended anyone to stay here for an easy access hotel that is not crazily crowded with people 👍🏻

Charming boutique hotel with excellent service and lots of character. You can't top the French Quarter location right off of Canal Street. Each room is a work of art. The lobby is so inviting. Love coming here as Bluegreen Vacation Club owners.

I enjoyed the staff. Aisha checked us in and she was so friendly. We plan to return again. Location location location - the French quarter. Keep in mind this is an old building as the decor is pretty cool.

We stayed here using Interval International. Staff was super friendly, location was great, our room was super fun, kind of Victorian meets Steampunk. We had a balcony room, we did get some noise from the street, but it’s New Orleans!!! We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great timeshare. Right on Decatur St off of Canal so great location. The room blew our minds with its whimsy and eclecticism. Small kitchenette with new appliances (note no dishwasher). Very efficient use of space for a 1br sleeps 4. Website and some reviews warn of low water pressure, but only experienced that problem one night and just waited a little. Don't expect a powerful spray but it will get the job done. Only "issue" we had was there was no dedicated dining area, so we had to eat in the living room off of the coffee table, sofa and 2 cubes. Could have used the extra chair that was hung upside down in the corner of the ceiling, lol! Two terraces to relax in. Would definitely return! Service was very friendly.

We booked a room for 6 people and the room was very spacious with 1 and 1/2 bath.

Before leaving to New Orleans we got an email about an ongoing issue with the lack of hot water, after making a call they reassured us that the problem is ongoing and they are working on it and they are doing their utmost to rectify it. She then proceeded to make sure we had a room with hot water. She asked if wanted a balcony, I thought it would a nice touch, I guess I thought wrong, it was a loud Sunday evening but it was something that came with the room but I have no regrets, great room, great balcony and a great view of the city life.

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, and very helpful.

I’d recommend staying here anytime.

We arrived pretty late and the staff were super accommodating and didn’t rush us unloading, they even made parking a breeze. We were pleasantly surprised our room had a balcony as well! We totally weren’t expecting that! The room was super clean and the furniture and decor had a cute quirky NOLA vibe. I highly recommend this location. There isn’t a parking garage but we didn’t even end up needing one. We would definitely return.

Our villa had a balcony which was absolutely perfect to sit on both in the morning having your frozen cafe au lait from Morning Call or your vietnamese coffee from Kolache Kitchen (absolutely must try!) and late at night when the party outside is a little too wild for participation but great for people watching. There was a beautiful breeze and the sun decks are well maintained. Also despite the fact you have front row seats to the night life, we didn’t hear any noise or disturbances once our balcony door was closed and locked, so sleep was easy and comfortable. My friend and I did wind up sharing what I think was a queen bed because the sofa itself smelled old and musty, a shame because it was very cool looking and comfortable. However this was the only negative thing I can say about the villa - it was otherwise very nicely decorated and felt like a mix of jazzy New Orleans hospitality with influences of a Parisian apartment. Very fitting for the area and helped with the immersive feeling of this city. The elevators are a bit slow - not a problem, just make sure you go down a bit earlier to meet your door dasher or uber driver ahead of time. Location is perfect, in walking distances to everything but off the path enough to avoid the chaos (affectionately) of both the French quarter and Canal while still being easily accessible to both. The staff was very helpful in kind, shout out in particular to the concierge Lucas who was able to help with all of my questions and clear up a lot of the information I wasn’t given ahead of time. He was extremely kind, helpful and we used many of his recommendations for our experiences. He took us from a deer in headlights to easily navigating the city and he was very knowledgeable, I can’t say I’ve had a concierge that was so helpful and personable and I’ve stayed in many BG properties.

I would absolutely stay here again but valet would be a great asset to your hotel, and worth the extra charge for it. We stayed previously at the marquee and while that hotel was also lovely, Club La Pen really got the NOLA “vibes” right. I would choose it again and again given the choice.

Thank you again!

The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The building is a bit quirky but has a good vibe and unusual pieces decorate the rooms. Similar to a maze in an older style building with rooftop access for sun worshipping & a great view. The fourth floor patio has ice machine and vending machines along with tables to visit with friends and family while listening to jazz and the hustle and bustle of the street below. Just a half block off Canal Street welcoming you to NOLA.🌟

Stayed in both the one bedroom and two bedroom suites; both were gorgeous and more than comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and polite. There's two beautiful sundecks to relax on. Unfortunately, the store wasn't open during our stay, so I cannot speak to anything negative or positive about it. Even after having said all this, the most alluring to me was the undeniable and immediate sense of history. Though beautiful, it was unspoken knowledge that building had seen more than anyone could imagine. Maybe I've romanticized it more than I should have, but it's this reason that would draw me back even if all else was horrible.

We were getting married and wanted separate accommodations for the night before the wedding. I booked myself this place for the one night and let my wife keep the condo we had rented for the week. The place was great. I'd definitely book here again. The room was very spacious with a separate bedroom, and the location was fantastic. I think the best part was the ladies at the front desk Charmaine, Iashia, and Angela. They all went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and was able to comfortably get ready for my wedding. Their help really helped to make our day special. I can't thank them enough. Great customer service!

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and brother-in-law. We had a two bedroom suite with a huge balcony overlooking Decatur Street. It was awesome!!! We had a parade go down our street and people threw beads up at us. It was so fun and we didn't have to endure the crowd. The ladies in the lobby always greeted us warmly. We felt very welcome and appreciated as guests. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I might have changed was the furniture in our living area. A smallish pull-out sofa and not so comfortable chair for four adults made it a little difficult to really sit-back and relax after a long day and night. Everything else was perfect! A special shout-out to Jessica. You Rock!

A very unique experience. Staff is very nice. Tucked on the corner of Decatur and Canal. Walking distance from all French Quarter festivities, restaurants, museums. There is no parking but once you uber from the airport you are in the center of everything.

My husband and I took a quick weekend trip to NO and was able to book this GREAT resort. The location was awesome, there were a great staff, (Jessica, Tiffany and Charmaine) took good care of us. We stayed in room 203 which was a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath with a balcony overlooking Decatur street.. The rooms were spacious, large living room with a kitchenette. Everything you need or want to see is pretty much within walking distance. If you in NO try and stay here.

Just spent 8 days and 7 nights at Club La Pension and had an AMAZING time! We had 9 people in our party so we had two 2-bedroom units and both were great; very comfortable. One had a full kitchen and living room and the second had a kitchenette. The beds were queen size but very comfy. The place is very uniquely decorated and very pretty. We even think we had a haunted room (so much fun since we were there for Halloween!). Chanelle and Will at the front desk were SO FANTASTIC!! They absolutely made our stay wonderful! Our first day there we didn't have very hot water; I called the front desk and within literally minutes we had 2 maintenance men there to take care of it. Other than the hot water issue (which was super minor) our stay was PERFECT!
