Hendersonville Community Co-op and Deli

Community Co-op in Hendersonville NC, Quite a few options of Local, Seasonal, Organic Produce and Products! Large and Organized Bulk section of Nuts, grains, herbs and spices. "Bring your own Bottle" option for Honey and Reverse Osmosis/ Alkaline Water Dispenser! They also have a Composting System to prevent Organic Produce from going to Landfill. Great way to purchase Quality items and support the Local Economy!

I love this very clean & nicely laid out store. It is easy to navigate and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Because it’s small, I can quickly find what I need, and get checked out.
It is my go-to for Dandelion Greens, Organic Sourdough Bread, Gluten Free English Muffins and freshly made Wraps to go. It’s also a neat place to find something new to try.
Even the outside of the Store has a nice vibe with the Hydrangeas, Milkweed, and other plantings.
The only downside I’ve seen at the Co-op is the Fruit. It does not seem to last very long, so I no longer purchase it there.

The GFV (also rice free!!) pies, specifically apple, pumpkin, and cherry are refined and EXQUISITE. Even if you do not prefer to follow a GFV diet, these are still a tasty group of dishes worth the exploration. I have to also eat rice free, as well as soy free, and am grateful to the Co-op for these options just in time for thanksgiving. The prices are a little high. Nothing in life is perfect and they are still worth it.

The teenage Blonde girl with the glasses was so helpful! I had a few questions about where to find salsa, and which ones she recommended, and she was so knowledgeable and kind. Genuinely some of the best customer service I’ve ever had; I wish I could tip her, or give her a raise. Is that an option? Either way, I will be telling my friends to check this place out.

The Co-op has always been kind and respectful to me and my family for many years shopping there, never having any troubles, and customer service is always above expectations. The younger employees are quite educated and smart, always respectful, and always sending me off with a kind smile.

For our wedding day, we wanted to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions who could not enjoy our wedding cake. Gateaux Bakery recommended that we check out the Hendersonville Co-op, who provided us with a list of vegan & gluten free dessert options. We had a call with Melissa and a sampling in-store to determine the items that would fit our day best (chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin pie bars, and whoopie pies). The ordering process was easy and their staff was great with our questions. While we only had a few guests with allergy issues, the desserts were a big hit across the board!

I really like this place! The staff has been friendly every time that I'm there.
I was looking for some vegan pancake mix. When I couldn't locate it, I asked an employee who was busy stocking items, but they were eager to help me and not only led me to the mixes, but also offered some suggestions as well. They wore a smile and was very nice.

5 stars for sure! Came here today for the first time. We had breakfast and it was delicious! Lots to choose from. It’s a little pricy, but your paying for quality. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Nice place to relax and eat a healthy meal. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Love this place! Always clean, welcoming and with great variety of choices. My favorite section is bulk herb and spices.

Organic/healthy type of store. Also a deli with tables inside and out. Super helpful and friendly staff. It’s rather dark and gloomy inside. Maybe there were some electrical problems and some lights were out.Parking can be tight at peak times.

Love this place! The variety is great and prices not too bad. I went in for Oatmeal and it was on sale. Found turbinado sugar as well. I only wish we something like it in Eastern Virginia

What an outstanding grocery store. Their selection of sustainably raised products, organics, and fresh produce are fabulous. Plus, it's locally owned. Great place to stock up on Hickory Nut Gap meats too.

I love their locally grown lettuce, it tastes great and seems to last a long time!

I've been a member here for a few years now and love it. I love that they offer dried herbs at reasonable prices, and their organic produce selection is fantastic. They also have the most delicious breakfast biscuits and burritos.

Their produce section is always well stocked with very fresh greens and vegetables.

Absolutely delicious! The deli and bakery goods are worth our drive from Arden! Everyone is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. I am on the prescribed Low FODMAP diet, and I can find what I need there.

If we lived in Hendersonville NC, this would be be our regular grocery store! We picked up a few homemade baked good sweets and bread, and fresh produce for our stay and everything was delicious!!! The cantaloupe was the best we've had.
