I had the best morning with my 16 yr old daughter. We arrived around 530am and sat quietly as the sun rose. There's nothing like the feeling. We were on the wrong side for a sunrise but we made it fun regardless. We always do. We hiked all the trails and they were beautiful. We were the only 2 there besides a jogger who didn't stick around. I wish we could go and start our day like this everyday.

What a cool place to find. The drive up is nice and easy. The view is really amazing and spans numerous mountain tops. There are a few short trails that run around the overlook, all fairly easy and well cleared. I really hate the fact people spray paint graffiti all over some of the rock faces.

This is a MUST SEE if your in the area, the beauty cannot really be caught in a pic and I would fail miserably if I attempted to put it in words, you really must EXPERIENCE it first hand--it almost made me cry!! I thought the drive was a bit confusing-- even with the GPS, but totally worth it. Fantastic and free!

The weather was perfect for taking in this beautiful view! The clouds were beautiful, the air was warm and still, and there was hardly anyone there when we stopped to enjoy the awesome view.

Love that you can see beautiful views right from the parking lot. The trails are older kid friendly- there were steps and rocks and climbing involved. But it’s super easy and not to far from Grandads which is a plus!

Great view. Love the scenery. There is even an area for those that are into hiking. Loved the area. Getting there takes time but it is worth it.

We did not jump off the rock. However, the views with the fall color were so stupendously amazing that we may as well have, because we will never see something so beautiful again. That and we were hungry. I suggest Mike's on Main. Cute 50's style diner with burgers and shakes

Very nice place for relaxation with mountain views. The parking lot is very well maintained and there are few small hiking trails. Great for any ages to enjoy breathtaking views.

Lots of curves on the drive up to this hidden gem. Great view and easy access for those unable to walk great distances.
There is a bench to sit and area for a picnic or concert. There is also a trail and area to climb on the rocks.🌍

What a lovely spot to enjoy the view. We left in the night hoping to see pretty place at sunrise but discovered online that it was booked, so we headed to Jump Off Rock instead. It was very beautiful and we are so glad that we went, but the sun doesn’t rise behind the mountain range, but on the opposite side. Sunset here would be phenomenal

Love going here and just looking out at the amazing view. The 3 trails are lots of fun too. Wouldn't take a baby on the tails because there are a lot of places they could slide down or fall off and you have to be able to climb over big rocks at some parts and lots of tree roots and things like that. The trails are short but sweet.

Lovely park with excellent views and a few small trails to wander!

Spoke to a few locals who were also there and they told us about a walking trail guide you can find for the park that includes trails and roadway walks to tons of views within this park and the surrounding area.

The park was incredibly well maintained and had a few porta-johns for bathrooms too. Highly recommend if you are looking for a pleasant stop with a view and not a lot of intense hiking to get to it.

Spectacular views and the quiet rush of air thru the leaves makes this a wonderful place to rest and relax and enjoy the splendor of beauty.

Beautiful overlook about fifteen minutes from downtown Hendersonville. The park has three trails to explore in addition to the overlook. The drive up to the rock through Laurel Park is also very neat, with multiple historic sites and interesting homes. Definitely worth exploring if in the area.

Outstanding mountain and valley views. Handicapped friendly, and only 100 feet or so from the parking lot (which holds maybe 20 cars). There are no bathroom facilities. It is well maintained and there are benches and a lower viewing area with just a few stone steps down to enjoy. Many boulders to sit on at the lower viewing area. We did not take the trails, but they looked like a steep descent. There are trash cans and a water spigot at the red trail entrance. Close to Hendersonville. It’s a little gem. We loved it!

Great place to enjoy the mountain views. Plenty of parking, three short but very scenic trails. The trails aren't strenuous, but have lots of rocks and tree roots, so you need to pay attention.

I was there for an outdoor jazz concert, beautiful June summer evening. I have been here before to bring out of town guests.
Jump off Rock would be a great place to bring someone without a lot of stamina for hiking. There's a small parking lot there beautiful panorama of the NC & in South Carolina mountains! Beautiful scenic spot to bring someone not able to do some of the hikes in the area.
