Joey's Bagels - Hendersonville

One of my favorite places. Great food ! Friendly staff !

I have eaten sandwiches here one hot and one cold both were superb. The cold Italian sub I had on my last visit was better than firehouse or jersey Mike's by quite a bit. Fresh ingredients and crisp lettuce.

Me and my husband went there this morning for bagels and it’s our new favorite spot for bagels!! If you’re looking for a fresh warm bagel with a thick layer of cream cheese, this is the right place!

One of only a few sandwich shops open on Sunday, this little deli checks the box. The ultimate Italian is fresh and good. But balsamic forward. The potato salad was a homemade surprise. I am a potato salad snob. This ranks in the top 10 I have had. Not a lot of inside seats. But a great feel. Fun photos on the wall. Delightful staff. I recommend.

If you are missing the NJ NY bagels these will suffice. Some days they are not as good as others depending on who is baking that day. They kept us from missing home for 10 years. They carry Taylor Ham! The owners are wonderful people and do a lot for the community. We will miss them when we move to Raleigh in a few weeks.
I would advise ordering ahead online during busy times for take out.

I had them delivered through DoorDash. Their bagels with flavored cream cheese is awesome. Very good way for me to not show up to my day job on an empty stomach.

I enjoyed my breakfast here with a friend. They have a small seating area inside. There are vegetarian options. There isn't an accessible door, so if you have mobility issues or a wheelchair, you would need someone else to open the door for you.

Best bagels ever! The cream cheeses are like butter so delicious and I have bad jaw it’s dislocated and these are the first bagels I’ve been able to have they are soft and if you New York it they double the cream cheese

I familiar with NY bagels!! But yours are really good, they taste like a bagel !! An I’m pleased to say that , I’m commin’ back!

I've always had their amazing bagels for breakfast but decided to venture out and try the Joey's Cheesesteak sandwich with a side of potato salad, and was blown away by how delicious it was.
If you're in the mood for Breakfast or Lunch, this is the place to visit.

As a New yorker I know bagels. Fuhgeddaboudit!! These bagels were very good. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch wrap on wheat. Excellent! The potato salad was awesome New York style. The prices are more than fair. It won't leave you with empty pockets or an empty stomach. This place is located right off of the freeway. It's very busy very quick service and very nice people! My experience and I rate a lot of establishments I give this one a gold medal! The bathroom was clean to boot a Laundromat and fuel stations located within feet.

I love bagels, and these are probably the best I have had...and I have had them in NYC.
AWESOME staff, as well.

They're not really NY bagels (let alone NJ bagels), but they're the best in Hendersonville, and it's not even close.

Joeys, I have probably been here close to 300 400 times, I could not love you anymore. So lucky to have this cast of breakfast bus on the way out from my house and two different locations. Killer affordable omelettes. And truly legit Bagels. There are employees who have been with the company over 10 years. I don’t think there’s another restaurant in the area. I can think of that has that claim. If you live in Asheville and you haven’t been to Joeys, you are really missing out.

Delicious! Everything made here is yummy and fulfilling. If you like garlic, try the garlic bagel with garlic butter, it melts in your mouth. The sandwiches are divine and the muffins tastier than any in a grocery store. Breakfast anytime but they close at 4pm. Takeout or a small area to dine in. Order ahead at your convenience if you prefer. Lots of bottled drinks to choose from as well, water, teas, other juices. Don't think about it if you have passed it a hundred times and wondered; just stop and enjoy the aromas and tastes inside. Then you'll wonder why it took you so long to sample. Always my go-to place for breakfast, bagels, croissants, wraps, muffins.

Good food and pleasant employees make for a great dining experience. You kind of get a good vibe just walking in the place. I got an everything bagel with lox, cream cheese and onion and was impressed at the quality and service. It's a good thing we don't live around there LOL.

New Yorker here! Been living in NC for 16 years. This is a very good bagel. They are nicely sized and a great texture. The cream cheese is superb.

My only complaint was that the everything bagel (which always seems to be most popular) had hardly any seeds, onion, garlic or salt on it. It basically tasted like a sesame seed bagel, so was a bit of a disappointment. I seen other reviews mention this, so it hasn’t been addressed. Man if they can fix that small issue, this may be the best bagel in NC.

This place is fantastic!! Great for a nice lil bite in the morning. I was passing through while out of town, and man was that bagel good! The cream cheese was also fantastic. You could tell that it was made in house, nothing store bought woulda been that excellent. All in all the service was professional and friendly. Additionally, the owner/manager hooked us up with some bagels for the road! That gesture meant so much to me and my group, the kindness was second to none. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in NC!

We were leaving Asheville to head home and didn’t feel like waiting an hour to get into a brunch spot. We happened to stumble upon this spot off the highway on our way home and were so pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the staff was very friendly! Definitely give them a 10/10 and will not hesitate to stop by again if we are in the area!!
