Sky Top Orchard

A wonderful family experience, everything from picking your own apples, apple canon, hayrides, and bee rides for kids, and even gem mining. Plus they have a shop where you can buy honey, apple butters and everything in-between. They have kettle corn,candy apples, hot apple cider available for purchase. Overall wonder experience. Very pleased and well priced as well. And definitely try the Apple Cider Donuts you won't be disappointed. 😁

What a cool place. You pay them to pick your own fruit. What a concept. But kidding aside, we picked Honey Crisp and you don’t get any fresher. It was a fun family outing. They have lots of varieties but you should check ahead before going to make sure the kind of apple you like is ready to be picked. After picking a bunch of apples we stopped for some hot apple cider donuts…wow, really good. We paid $30 for about 10 to 15 pounds of honey crisp which is a fair price, given we did all the work.

Beautiful family friendly orchard with a nice play area for the kids including the famous Apple Cannon!
Their farm stand had all their apple varieties picked and ready to go, or you can do like most and take your time and u-pick.
They offered all the typical baked goods and jarred products, but the lines were too long for me to purchase anything with the short timeframe I had.
After checking out 4 orchards in 1 day, id recommend a minimum of 3 hours at each to get the full experience

Excellent apple orchard for visiting. Well laid out, clean and organized. Competitive prices. Fresh Cider. Lots of apple varieties. Apple Cider doughnuts!! Hot dogs. Jams and jellies. Children's playground. Some animals on site. Rides for children and adults through the orchard. And you can pick your own if desired. Highly recommend.

Sky Top Orchard offers so much fun things to do for families: playgrounds, apple shooting cannon, gold rush gem mining, hay rides and bee train rides, petting zoo, peacocks, bamboo forest, pond. I mean you can come early and spend all day there. And if you like apples you can U-pick or buy from them. The orchard looks large, still saw many apples on the trees.
They have bakery and hot dogs, but the lines were too long so we didn’t get anything.
Cons: parking was busy, long lines everywhere

Great family fun with a friendly staff. Delicious apple donuts, the best salsa I've ever had, perfectly coated candied apples and soul warming apple cider. Will be back soon to get more salsa! Oh and the apple butter is 🤌.

A great place to visit with a lot to do. We traveled from Tampa to get a true fall experience and this place helped deliver. Rides and food are a good price, views are amazing, playground was great and kept the kids happy.

Absolutely a perfect morning spent among the apples. Definitely would recommend bringing cash if you intend to purchase items...it makes you wait time shorter. HIGHLY recommend the doughnuts...get twice as many as you think you want! The apple cider is amazing!

Pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon but it was a great experience for us. I recommend taking cash cause it's just easier. We got the warm cider and cider donuts and they were the best we have ever had. Picking the apples was pretty fun but it was a long walk. The only apples available were pink ladies and granny Smith. Lots of fun activities to do here for kids and adults. We will do this again in the future!!!

We were so stunned by the view, it was truly breathtaking. The kids loved doing the apple cannon. The cider was delicious along with the donuts. Never had an apple picking experience like this one 🥰

Great place to take the family, pick some apples, and enjoy some fresh made apple doughnuts and apple slushies. We go each year and had our daughter's picture taken by the growth chart apple tree. Now we bring our granddaughters. There are plenty of photo opportunities out in the apple orchard as well. There are many varieties of apples to choose from. We went the first week of October, and most of the trees had been picked clean. We had a bit of a hike to get to three apple that were still available. If you don't want to pick your own, there are plenty available inside the "barn" already bagged up for your convenience. You can also get a variety of jams, jellies, and muffin mixes.

Really cool place to go. We were very worried about the crowds, but despite being completely packed, they handled the crowds very well and we were only in line a short amount of time. The apple cider donuts are delicious! We also tried the apple cider and an apple cider slushie, both were delicious as well. I found the bamboo forest to be really unique, but I know that won't be the case for everyone. This is the place we will most likely go to every year now when it's time to get some apples!

Visited just after lunch on a Friday in October. Sadly we came on a day when school was on Fall break so it was incredibly busy.
We still got lots of goodies such as their jams, apple butter, and salsas. We also got their handmade apple pies (three sizes to choose from). Don't miss getting them hot as well as an apple cider slushie.
You have to buy everything at the large counter, which also includes fudge covered and caramel covered apples, fudge and drinks. The staff is suuuuuper helpful and despite being very busy today they took their time and were very courteous.
We missed getting an apple cider doughnut which you get outside in a different line. Since it was extremely busy today we didn't want to wait.
You can pick your own apples or buy them already packaged.

Bring your appetite and good walking shoes. There are places to sit and various activities for the kids. Oh and bring cash. There is an ATM on site.

We didn’t pick any apples we enjoyed the animals there and the kids loved the apple cannon! Definitely wear shoes and make sure everyone goes to the bathroom before going down the hill because coming back up is a bit of a workout lol.
Our nieces & nephew all had fun (2,3,7,8 years old). Fun family time!

We love to come here with kids. Their donuts are amazing, each year I’m so excited about them as those are the only donuts I would eat. Kids love to play around and love the little animal area

This was my first time ever going to Sky Top. We were not disappointed. The drive was beautiful. October is definitely a great time to come to see the beautiful colors of the trees. The donuts were to die for. The apple cider slushies were great. The kids loved playing on the playground and riding the bee train. They loved the apple cannons. Picking our own apples was super fun and a nice walk. I can't wait to come back! Definitely a great time for all of us.

We had a great time...only thing is I wish they had hay/tractor ride to the bamboo Forrest and animals. Other than that everything was awesome. The donuts are addicting...The Mutsu is my new favorite apple...and you can sluice for gems there now. The view from the back of the barn walking into the Orchard was breath taking!

Fun for all ages with plenty of fun for the kids. Take a ride on the tractor around the apple trees. Or pick out your favorite Pumpkin, Jams, Jellies or even Local Honey. Dont forget your walking shoes, you will need them but come pick an Apple at SkyTop Apple Orchard. Don’t skip out on the donuts now ya’hear!

This was such a great experience! We visited Sky Top Orchard in mid October. Most important notes from our trip:
1. Sky Top opens at 9am. Be early; lines form quickly! When we arrived just after 10am there were a good bit of people. On our way out (around 1pm) there was little room to walk in the shed (cafe/gift shop area). Despite the length of the lines we didn't have to wait too long.
2. Apple cider donuts. The line was really long, but moved quickly. Buy at least 3 dozen - 1 for right then, 1 for after you pick your apples, and 1 for when you go home. Don't question it, just thank yourself later.
3. If you have small children, bring a wagon or wide-wheel stroller. There is a lot of walking up and down hills on gravel. We used a regular stroller and did ok. However, it would have been much easier with a wagon.
4. Have fun picking apples, but don't forget to get some of the other varieties from inside the shed.
5. The hot apple cider and apple cider slushie are really good. Both go really well with the apple cider donuts.

All in all I am very happy we visited Sky Top and would recommend it to anyone interested in a good time with family and friends!

Really loved this place! We have been to several and this was perfect! Although you have to pay for small things, there is no admission fee. Think of the bag of apples being your admission fee bc it's 30 bucks which for a family of four is CHEAPER than most places AND you get a bag of apples lol. Probably spent 60 extra on things to do, snacks, desserts to take home. So totally worth it!
