Love, love this place. The salad and pizza is always what I get and they never disappoint. The wood-fire makes the pizza exceptionally tasty. I love the back deck as it's spacious and shady. I'll make a detour on a day trip just to go here. Their bread and pastries are also really good and a stop at the Wrinkled Egg next door is always fun - they have so many cool products from local artists!

Me and a friend went here to meet up. It was my first time visiting, and it was a little packed, but the service was fast and faultless. The workers were very nice and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was delicious. I ordered a gluten-free pizza, and it was perfect. I even ate it for lunch the next day, and it still tasted just as good as it was fresh! This place is perfect for a quick lunch or dessert i would recommend! 😋

Wonderful place. Delicious deserts and menu items. I recommend their chicken salad sandwich. I recommend their Faugasse too.

After several years of not visiting this bakery, they still don’t disappoint. I’ve always loved getting the Italian cheese bread!!! It is a “Must-Try!”

Got the hummus sandwich (vegan) and loved it! They always have wonderful food and a good atmosphere. Ate outside and enjoyed the sun. Would definitely recommend for food sandwiches in the Flat Rock Hendersonville area!

I was here several weeks ago and enjoyed their roast beef sandwich, really delicious. Dog friendly, amazing atmosphere, always love coming here before my hike.

Ok so the atmosphere was in the rain at the Riverside Farmers Market in AVL. Truly the best of any cardamone rolls we have ever had. If I had know exactly how wonderful they were, I would have purchased the entire tray!!!

WOW! I had them cater our wedding. We did wood fire pizza and it was AMAZING. I cannot praise the owner enough. Talking to caterers was not my favorite thing to do. Many made me feel very unintelligent. However he was so kind and was able to guide me while also making me laugh. He catered our wedding at Timber hall and our guests and family have seriously not stopped talking about how great the pizza and cocktail hour was! I am so glad I was able to be guided towards this amazing company!! If you’re thinking pizza, this is THE GUY!!!

The greatest outdoor patio, and delicious baked goods. Tried the chocolate chip scone and the mushroom brie croissant. The mushrooms could’ve done with some thyme or other seasonings, but the croissant dough was really delicious. Will definitely visit again!

Super cute place, home baked goods, delicious sandwiches. It was very crowded on a Saturday but worth the wait time (30min). Sit outside and enjoy a fresh baked pizza, sandwich or something sweet.

Best local pizza, salads, sandwiches and baked goods, hands down. Made with fresh, local, natural and organic ingrediants when available. Hip staff, vibe and ambiance. Highly recommended.

My wife and I got married recently and our venue recommended Flat Rock Bakery to us for their wood fired pizza. We decided to go try some pizza before we decided on them and where blown away! Pizza was so good we decided to have them as a food vendor for our wedding and they did not disappoint! 10/10 would recommend

Visited around 2PM on a Monday. Still busy. Plenty of seating but parking in the back. Great Goat Cheese pizza, a nice special side salad with sunchokes, a good Italian sub (though I might recommend switching out the ciabatta bread. It's good, but it is pretty thick & chewy).

The goat cheese pizza was heavenly. It was a very popular place, very small seating area, but no one seemed to mind sharing space. Bakery items were reasonably priced and wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

OMG!!! It is the best Bakery ever. They have the normal bakery item, plus cooked bacon and eggs for us non bread peps!!! Thank you Village Bakery for going the extra mile.

Great coffee and pastries. They even have cinnamon toast, which is a delicacy where I come from. Try it!

My wife and I stopped in yesterday (10/21/23) and purchased some wonderful cookies and a blondie, which was gluten free. I’m not a big fan of gluten free products because I’ve not had a very positive reaction to them due to them being bland. Such was not the case with the peanut butter and chocolate chip blondie. I’d definitely get it again.
