I have known about Panda for years but never used them until recently. I need 100+ digital prints in a hurry (48 hours) and they exceeded my expectations in not only print quality but custom service and pricing. (Their bulk pricing beats the online competitors by a mile!) Will definitely be using again.

Was visiting Seattle for vacation and ran out of film. Stopped in here because it was close to Chihuly Garden and they had lots of options for film stock. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Develop and scan done right - friendly shop putting out quality work in Queen Anne - worth the drive from pretty much anywhere in metro Seattle area as far as I’m concerned. Usually have a very sold and well priced selection of film available to purchase as well so nice to knock off a couple errands in one trip. Turn around time is usually about 2 weeks for dev and scan but hey it’s film so you’re probably not in a massive hurry anyway.

I don’t often review places but I wanted to express my gratitude towards the folks who work at Panda. This past January, they rushed negative scans of my dad who was rapidly declining from cancer; they were the last portraits I took of him. It was because of Panda’s willingness to rush the scans that I was able to show my dad his portraits before he passed away. That right there is a gift, and I’m grateful.

For a number of reasons I wasn’t able to pick them up until today, 8 or so months later. I wouldn’t try to leave negatives at a lab for this length of time again - it would be understandable that they’d be disposed of. I feel they made many exceptions for me and regardless if they knew the importance of those negatives, I’m so very grateful they kept them safe and I just wanted to say thank you <3

I’m definitely coming back here! The one staff person I interacted with was super friendly and helpful, and I thought the price to develop the film from my disposable camera was fair. It took less than a week for me to receive a digital copy of my files on WeTransfer, and the photos turned out so well!

High quality work and the only local places to have black and white 120 film developed that I know of.

They're the only place I go for my B/W, C-41, and E-6 developing. Staff is friendly and prices are fair. Recently I've gotten negatives back in 1-3 days, and scans in 7-10, and I always get a call as soon as my stuff is ready. I highly recommend these guys.

Emily was great in helping me complete my project in a timely manner. They were busy when I picked up my pics and she came out to meet me to expedite the line. The online upload system was easy and efficient with full communication through email.

I've worked with Panda Lab for years, taking all of my film there for everything from just messing around to big, important projects. They consistently do excellent work, and they're very accommodating for whatever request you may have. I trust them 100% with my film. Great folks running this place.

They do B/W, C41, and E6 processing in 35mm, 120, and 220.

As far as I know, it's the only place left in the entire Seattle area that will develop film on-site. We're fortunate that it also happens to be a great shop. If you shoot film around Seattle, keep it local and give them your business.

Panda is my go-to spot for film development and scanning, as well as occasional printing. I use their services primarily for color film (35 mm & 120), but also for B&W unless I develop it myself. They provide great quality and customer service.

Five years later, I mostly go to Panda for scanning film negatives. Their high-resolution scans are excellent. I have shown large format prints from these scans in several exhibitions.

My favorite film lab in Seattle, I usually get the results within 2-3 days (even though I expected a week!), and I love picking up my negatives from them.

Panda Lab is great!!! I dropped off my film maybe less than a week ago and got them back via WeTransfer. Photos came out great and will definitely be coming back another time. Giving 4 stars because there was a visible red line at the top of my photos but other than that, the quality is amazin!

Update 11/11:
The manager at Panda Lab, Jessica reached out and RE-Scanned all my photos so that there was no red line! Wow!! So thoughtful and unexpected. Thank you so much Panda Lab! 5 stars for sure!

STOP! Your search is over.
I tried four other companies before I found Panda Lab and if I could go back in time and save myself the trouble, frustration, and money I would in a heartbeat. Not a single one could do what Jessica and her team did with my work. Images were gorgeous and process was a dream. Every time I send an email with a question their responses are super fast. Staff is friendly and most if not all are photographers so you know the people on the other end treat your work they way they would treat their own. I send all my friends here.

Deciding to dive back into film photography again, I went to give Panda Lab another try. Hesitant, after my last experience a year/year-and-a-half ago, the other local labs I’d tried just weren’t up to snuff (in my opinion). And honestly, I’m very glad I decided to go back.

The lab has diligent and considerate covid procedures in place, and the employee who logged my order was leaps and bounds nicer than the last couple folks I’d worked with here (again, over a year ago). She double checked all of my information, didn’t judge me on what type of camera I was using as someone coming back to the art after some time, or that I was nervous about my test rolls. I felt seen and accepted as both an artist and a person—not just a customer.

My rush order of processing+scans for a B&W 35mm roll came back within just two days, and damn this lab does a phenomenal job bringing my vision and the images I created across the finish line. I’m thankful for this experience, for these folks, and am excited to keep exploring film so that I can continue to bring business to Panda Lab.

Everyone here is so nice and has helped answer all my questions as an amateur film shooter. Always a much quicker turn around than I expect! Would recommend to anyone!

I have done mostly 120 B&W with the lab and I am very happy with how the processed film looks. 5 stars. I have the equipment at home, but no matter how careful I am I always get spots on my negs. Panda's processing is spotless. I now have a scanner and my darkroom equipment has sat idle for a long time. Will most likely put it up for sale. I was never a good printer anyway and I get great results by digitizing my negatives.

This place isn't a rip-off. After reading other reviews, I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. I have been having film developed here for years, and I have not had any issue with either the service or the staff. It is a great feeling to support local, but it is more than that. They do good work! If you have concerns, talk to them. I have never found them anything other than knowledgeable and accommodating. I feel sorry for small business owners having to deal with the public. As an avid photographer, I am constantly shooting Ektar 100 and any variety of b/w stocks, mostly Kodak. I know I can count on this local lab to deliver, and I will continue to support them and sing their praises. Going online is lazy and unwarranted when you have an outstanding lab right in your own backyard. And I live on the Eastside, and I don't believe in that "invisible wall" that everyone sees when they think Seattle is "too far". I stand with Panda Lab.

I’ve developed around 6 rolls of color and B&W through Panda and have had nothing but good experiences. Chris worked with me over the phone a lot when a double exposed roll didn’t have obvious cut lines and was patient and professional through the process. Would absolutely recommend developing your film here.

Panda Lab has a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I normally work directly with Jessica and she's great. I often do my artistic and professional photography using film, and for the times that I need/want a lab to process or print my work, Panda Lab is the only place in the Pacific Northwest I trust.

Also, they are increasing their involvement with their community and it's a pleasure to see other photographers' works when I pay them a visit.
