I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a grocery store, but Elizabeth was so helpful I just had to write one to mention how great my experience was. She was a professional cashier who went above and beyond to help me out, with a sense of customer service that is incredibly rare these days. She’s a gem and deserves a promotion!

Good store. Convenient hours of operation. Fresh fruit and veg. Good selection of supplies. Easy checkout.

We stopped in here to see what they had. We ended up getting a couple maple filled doughnuts that were some of the best i have ever had. I would recommend trying out these for sure. The store was also very clean and the employees were nice.

Employees here are AMAZING! Too bad the Safeways in Oregon don't live up to the standards of Seattle. Maybe people here actually enjoy working their jobs instead of moping and never interacting with the customer! They let us use the rest room super early in the morning when I really needed a bathroom! Self checkout lady and the lady behind the customer service desk were stellar! Even the girl that opened the women's restroom for me was super sweet and kind. I'll make it a point to visit this Safeway more often!

Went to pick up My prescriptions and the pharmacy wasn't full of people waiting. The pharmacist and the people there were busy doing their work, I was in and out of there quickly.

This is now my closest Safeway. It seems smaller than the West Seattle Safeways that I am used to and the layout is a little different; not quite as intuitive somehow. The self checkout does seem to have a lot of stations. Closing at 11:00 seems a little early in an area with such a high population density. Fortunately if it’s late there is a QFC that’s open to 1:00 on Mercer and of course there’s the Metropolitan Market nearby for when I want to treat myself.

Visiting from out of town, the cashier suggested some local attractions to me and my colleagues. Thank you Elizabeth!

I love shopping at Safeway but I do not like their employees. They are rude disrespecting I was in the self, check out I talk to the employee at the self, check out. He had the keys to the liquor as well as the cigarettes, but he refused. I have been lied to. Some of the employees are okay, but there are other people who need to be fired because they are disrespecting their customers. I am going to have to go to the c e o and put a complaint on this store

Safeway on 4th and Union in Renton Highlands is by far the best Safeway I've shopped, but that's just my opinion, the store is well lit, always clean and organized (I never have trouble finding what I need) the employees are very helpful and always have a positive attitude, I have gotten to know a few of the employees as I have lived in the area for many many years but I have seen that even if you're new to the store and don't know any of the employees you can bet you will still be greeted with a big smile any warm welcoming attitude from an employee during your shopping experience in Renton Highlands Safeway , be sure to check out the fresh produce Dept , they always have a great selection !

I was killing time before a meeting.
I bought an electrolyte drink with Zero Sugar. It immediately refreshed me. I got some breakfast items that were just enough and would stay fresh until I could get home later on in the evening. The staff were so nice. It was a Trade Mark Safeway experience for sure. It set me up for going into an intense meeting with a genuine smile on my face. Thank you.

This was a perfect surprise. I set out looking for a CVS within walking distance and found this. They had everything I needed, great prices, and a quick friendly check out experience.

Great place to grab food within a short walking distance to our hotel. Yummy deli. Good prices and nice staff.

This is one of the smaller Safeway stores, appropriately sized for its location. Nonetheless they have a great selection at usually pretty great prices. One thing I think Safeway does not get enough credit for is their selection of hot and cold food. The quality and taste is just way better than most other grocery stores. The produce is usually available at a great price as well.

Very clean, well-stocked, & many items that can only be bought with Safeway. The staff that oversees the self-checkout is attentive & helpful.

A grocery and home accessories store. Employee's are always nice, prices are reasonable priced, compared to my local market. Plus has items like, frozen blueberries, which my local market doesn't have. The donuts are always out early in the morning, although I wish they had chocolate croissants. But none the less, a good store to buy from if you're in the area.

I'm visiting my son who works in the US, this Safeway happens to be a short walk. Well stocked and plenty of varieties. Overall well maintained.

They have moved the pharmacy items up front and the coffee to the back and desserts like cookies up on the last lane up front

My favorite shopping place. Great selections and very friendly and helpful employees. They have a lot of people from the store from Upper Queen Anne that is now closed working there. I miss the old original Crew and with a few exceptions these employees are not as friendly or helpful as the original store employees. A few are but basically people notice the difference in attitude.
