Home Depot in San Mateo has been my go to home supplies, construction, garden, and paint store for many years. I enjoy shopping for all of my home improvement materials at this store because it feels better organized and respectful to customers. I appreciate the dedicated employees who are always helpful and willing to help whenever I have a question.

I love this Home Depot! They have a great nursery where my family and I buy all our plants from. I ordered my beautiful custom blinds from this Home Depot. A month after ordering the blinds, the installers came to my house and were finished in under 10 minutes. The staff are always helpful and respectful. In 15 years I have never had any reason to complain. Customer for life!

Shout out to Ali at Pro Desk. He helped me with special order delivery. He will call you with status update (very nice) before the delivery. Was very easy to call/reach him with order modification. Solved some complex return process very easy. First time leaving review here. He is exceptional. If you are a homeowner who wants personal help at HD, then Ali is the person to work with.

Also, Robert who is very proactive in helping you out with loading/off loading.

After checking multiple Home Depots without success, I visited the San Mateo store out of convenience. Two friendly ladies directed me to Pete, a knowledgeable gentleman. Thankfully, Pete not only knew exactly what I was looking for but also helped me secure the last five tiles in stock. He made my day after months of searching. If you find yourself in Home Depot in San Mateo, don't hesitate to ask for Pete. Thanks, Pete!

Amazing selection of plants. Friendly staff. Tried to find a hinge for a cupboard and found the process of matching my old one frustrating because the shelves were chaotic, but a staff member helped and when it appeared they did not stock the item gave me useful advice.

I was impressed with the service provided by this employee. What quality in attention and affection in what you do! What's good has to be said, Congratulations Home Depot, cherish him because he has more goodwill than certain younger employees!!

I was here for a scavenger for my youth group and the staff was very understanding and allowed it so that was nice. Other than that it is Home Depot and it has everything you would need and expect from a Hone Depot.

Larger than other Home Depots with plenty of parking and room to grow. Had everything we wanted and saw online before going to this store.

Had big job and needed parts, had all 17 parts needed on hand plus supporting lumber to finish everything.

Good deal on a $20 truck rental for 75 mins unlimited mileage but need proof of insurance and have to return full with a gas receipt. Otherwise the you get charged $15 fee + $6.50 per gallon.

Good store better than the one in San Carlos no issues with finding anything helpful checkout process and staff. Store is large and airy.

Quality place! This ranks best of all I have been to in the coast areas I work in. Seaside to San Francisco!

Love this Home Depot it’s like they should always be here cool people , cool environment, nice fully stocked up store , just the way it should be.

Super nice service! We worried the things we bought would not fit in our sedan. They helped us by looking for alternative delivery solutions and allowed us to pull over by the entrance so that we could try and see if everything fit inside our tiny car.

Typical Home Depot, what can I say. But then again, thats what you want sometimes... a reliable and predictable store with products that you are used to and inventory that you know they will have.

Rafael and Roland were both exceptional and help me thoroughly. Very happy with their professionalism got the job done got it corrected as far as pricing and upgrades and the purchase was satisfying. Now let's see how tough shed performs because the last time I experienced with home Depot their clerks are fine but when the company they hire to put in their product that's the issue they're a problem they don't work well. The professionalism is very poor.
