Trader Joe's

Trader Joe's in San Mateo near freeway 92 is my favorite location to shop. I particularly like the large parking lot which is shared with TJ Maxx, 7-11, and Ross stores. This Trader Joe's location is much smaller but I like the quint feeling. The store frontage is always decorated with seasonal plants or flowers and for this is important because the fung shui energy is positioned in the right area. The interior store design is similar to the other stores but on a mini level.

Wonderful little supermarket. Staff is very friendly, store is clean, there are many different selections of organic foods, parking is free and easily available, price is also fair. I highly recommend this store.

I've consistently been amazed by the outstanding service from this store's team. Today's visit, despite the Thanksgiving rush, reinforced the commitment to a great customer experience. Ed stood out when I sought help with my recipe list, promptly and compassionately assisting me in finding every item. Kudos to Ed and thanks to Trader Joe's for having such a fantastic staff.

It’s not shopping. It’s joeing. Online retail has absolutely nothing on the sheer thrill of in-store discovery. You never know what you will find. And that’s the point. The staff here are fantastic and hard working and well paid in their highly competitive industry. And quirkiness is something you simply cannot put a price on. For good reason.

This particular Trader Joe's is located in a nondescript strip mall, which is just the way I like it. It is more spacious than other trader Joe's stores, at least it feels that way. Because of its location there's plenty of parking!

You will expect to find the same as any other store but for some reason this one usually has stuff that others sometimes run out of. The produce is as expected as well as the breads and dairy.

The accessible parking is right by the door - and generally fills up fast.

The shopping center this Trader Joe's is located in is slated for big changes - becoming housing. Trader Joe's will remain but not sure about the in between.

Come on what can I say you know Trader Joe’s is good you gotta watch for their specials because they come and go once they’re gone. You’re out of luck. ☹

This 5-star review is for the Trader Joe's gluten free pancake mix. Yes. I added blueberries and had some good pancakes!!!!! I think I like more than regular-pancake mixes.
They usually have a decent amount of organic produce for not too expensive, and the quality seems good. But not always available in a specific size, like the other day you could buy a large bag of organic pears, but no single organic pears, or maybe that was grapefruit.
The bottled coconut water from the fridge section is great.
Coffee samples are always nice.
They also had local "Bay area" raw honey, bonus!
Liking the soy ice cream sandwiches, good size summertime treat. Also the strawberry coconut milk ice cream is a really good non-dairy ice cream alternative.
They also have a few options for gluten free sandwich style bread, I tried one, it was ok.
However I really did not like the peach dessert (like a crumble pie?) It tasted like it had way too much artificial peach flavor in it or something.

For the TJs store itself: easy parking, helpful and friendly staff. Lines don't ever seem too long.

Matt was amazing and the dude who helping with bagging us was great. Hope he sees he has a good impact and his knowledge of traders joe was perfect. It may be just a Trader Joe’s but Matt made it feel like a community. He deserves a raise, beyond customer experience made sure I keep wearing my usual fun colors :)

Always a great place to shop for food and groceries and other stuff.

Very clean, has good stock, and very accessible to the suburban areas near it.

My go to store but we stopped there too and the crunchy slaw ❤is everywhere and I got the others because they don’t have them at the store by the wharf 🤦🏾

The employee who gave me a sample was very kind and welcoming. His name was Alex. The sandwich I tasted was also delicious.

Solid trader Joe's that's always clean and fully stocked. It's in a big plaza so you can always find a parking space nearby. Also it's right off the freeway and you know what they say location is king. Much more convenient than the Hillsdale location.

What is there to say, Trader Joe the alternative to Whole Foods. The store is well stocked and very busy location. They could build one twice the size and it would be crowded.

Best place for your weekly groceries. Love their seasonal items and flowers.
