Safeway

This is a review for the Safeway supermarket in the middle of Foster City. The market was clean, and had a good selection of food and products. The staff was courteous, and in general does not take a lot of time to pay for your groceries. If you are doing your groceries shopping here, I do recommend that you join the Safeway club to get the discounts (this is free). Parking is easily available. Near by this supermarket one finds some restaurants and a couple of parks.

Neat, safe, quick and reliable. I love the Sandwich and hot food department. The staff there are very personable and take their time and don't try to rush you. I love them in my neighborhood, thank you!

Went to cook at my co-workers place I’m just here in San Francisco for work no stove this Safeway was huge and had everything I needed and some things I wanted and didn’t need! Late night cook fest #FoodPrepParty

Fab selection - everything you could possibly want grocery wise. Take away and fresh food fab. Great choice.

The only American supermarket chain store across from the Foster City lagoon. This Safeway is always fully stocked, clean and ready for business.

One of the finer Safeways in the Bay area very casual comfortable vibe. No need to lock down products. Have plenty of help with self check out available and large selection for any item you seek.my Interaction with staff and fellow shoppers was pleasant. Overall great store.

The most convenient store close to my place. Been going to the store for more than 20 years. I can find most of the stuff which I am looking for and they slso gsve asian stuff but off course not cheap compare to asian grocery store but when we arectalking about last minute and other stores have closed then Safeway to the rescue. All of the stuff are fresh and I like the sale item too.

I really like this Safeway. Yes, the parking is difficult. It's always crowded. Now in the era of COVID-19, the lines are longer. But I appreciate that they are taking precautions to ensure our safety. Also they have a gorgeous floral department. And their produce is top notch. My kids are crazy about their fried chicken! The reason it's always crowded is because it's a great supermarket!

Growing up in the Bay Area Calif. I was raised grocery shopping @ Safeway. Childhood memories of picking out cereal and each of my family birthday's we got a Safeway cake. (The cake was the highlight of each of our birthday!) And NOW.. Safeway sells cake pieces for an any time celebration!! How Safeway has evolved!! Also, Safeway has their own name brand: Signature Selection Which most all items in the store is made of. Same quality as a brand name but a few cents cheaper, and for a single parent that helps my pocketbook. Safeway is not only a household name. It's family.

Wonderful..Hadn't been there in yrs. Went to get a Birthday cake. Picked up a few other things I needed also. Was impressed.Will be going back for sure..!!

Safeway is one of our go too, especially when it comes to cold weather, french bread and cocoa, and I love the produce department definitely a 👍👍👍

Clean and great customer service

Nice store, great selection of everything. I had a choice between 5 Guys or a more reasonably priced market. I had a deli sandwich w/ turkey (Boarshead), marinated mozzarella & olive tapenade. Yumm!! Do NOT dismiss the basics! The bread, meat & cheese were fresh, service was very friendly & the price is right. I will definitely look for supermarkets more frequently than fast food going forward... there's more than one way to 'grab a bite".

Safeway is one of my favorite grocery store brands. This one was clean and had more variety as I like to shop the Asian food aisle and I found the drink of black coffee in the can that I was looking for.
