Fork in the Market

Relatively small menus but what they lack in variety they make up in flavor! The hotdogs and burger we had were delicious and I always love battered fries. The service here was excellent and the outdoor patio had a really nice atmosphere. The price was also really inexpensive for the amount of food you got and the bevs were reasonably priced. I would definitely come here again and recommend this to others.

Here on business definitely recommend. Friendly bouncers. Great chicken tendys at midnight with a nice tone. Reasonably priced beers. Crown and Cokes for $7. Can't beat it. Great time Tuesday night karaoke was great.

Fantastic food. The dive bar experience without the ickiness commonly associated with dive bars.

Great downtown location right in the middle of the City! Good food, good drinks and a nice patio outside to relax on. One thing I really appreciate is the bank of phone chargers they have on the wall! Great idea that helps a bunch, especially when you want to Uber home and your phone is almost dead.

I got a burger and Mac n cheese. It was delicious. The brick oven s'mores were wonderful, too! The waitress was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend

We're very glad that we decided to give Fork in The Market a try. They serve some very tasty food in a comfortable, funky setting. A very nice little selection of craft beers, Wicked Weed Brett Farmhouse included! Funky beer in a funky place. The chili was good, our one year old loved the fries, and although we didn't try one, the personal sized wood fired pizza looked awesome.

We chose this over Billy's and we are glad we did. The food was good and the staff friendly and attentive.

Are these times for karaoke still correct?

Karaoke tonight 4/4/2021 and every Tuesday Thursday and Saturday 9pm till close 12Am outside seating and music come join the fun and great food!

We were looking for a restaurant to walk to from our hotel downtown. We decided to give Fork in the Market a try. The food was excellent, very flavorful. Tried the brick oven pizza which was great. Cheese fries were good as well. Plenty of outside seating. Take a break and enjoy the downtown atmosphere.

Great food. Service is good when not real busy. Easy-going atmosphere. Really needs to post entertainment changes in the schedule.

Great service. Clean, fun, reasonably priced and awesome food. Definately want to get back there when they have the full menu restored.

Their menu isn't large but everything we have ordered has been delicious! My spouse and I have lunch there weekly! Brick oven pizza is awesome, especially with ricotta cheese on it! Staff is pleasant and attentive to their guests. There is plenty of outdoor seating and in the winter it is covered and heated. I highly recommend stopping in for a meal, a few drinks, or both!

This is a great place for beer and bar food. The cheese fries and hot dogs are so freaking good you will eat until you're ready to explode and then eat more. Service was friendly and pretty fast, but I did sit at the bar so not sure how the table side service is. It has great atmosphere too, busy but not overly crowded so you don't feel like packed sardines or anything. Would definitely come again.

This is a staple when I return home to Roanoke. The food is great. It turns into a great bar at night. There's never a dull moment and I've never experienced any negativity. It's nice to find a place where people of all walks of life can enjoy a drink together the way we were all meant to. It speaks volumes for how this place is managed and I love it!

$3 PBR and extensive choice of other beers, plus a neighborhood bar type atmosphere and the best bartenders and wait staff ever. 👍

Your dollar goes quite a ways at this place! I got a (gourmet) hot dog, fries, and a beer all for $8. The ambience is great when sitting on the patio area next to the street. Definitely worth checking out.

My sister and I were visiting Roanoke for the first time and stopped in for a drink and an appetizer. We got the spinach and artichoke dip. Outstanding. The server was great and we dined alfresco which was wonderful too. Can't wait to come back here.

Was in town for a short period. Actually tried a different restaurant but their grill was down, and they recommended Fork in the Market. Good suggestion! I had the pizza that translates to crazy cat (Idk the menu name). Menu seemed to offer something for everyone. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Casual atmosphere.
