SOOOO GOOD!! Everything we tried, we loved. Everything on the menu looked amazing. Wish we could have tried it all ha! Lots of options on the menu and food had a lot of flavor! I got the seafood pasta and soooo delicious! Would eat here again whenever we go back to Roanoke!!

Cesar salad is amazing, fresh and crisp mild spicy pepper makes the combination with Cesar creamy cheese sauce, cool but not frozen👍brisk roast is too good looking to eat it all!

Great cocktails and food. The fried green tomatoes were amazing. The eggs benedict was good but too salty. They were very accomodating for vegetarian dietary restrictions

Went for dinner. It was lovely. I had a lemon pound cake martini, an amazing cesar salad (and I do mean it was delicious) and the shrimp and grits for my entree. All tasted amazing and I got Top Notch Customer Service. I definitely recommend and will be back. Thank your staff for their warm hospitality! Came back for a 2nd review. Joe is amazing! That’s the update lol oh and food is still incredible 8 mths later!

Wonderful place to have lunch! We had an awesome server, Tynnon, that provided fantastic customer service! He was knowledgeable and served us with a smile and we enjoyed his company. Our food was top notch and cooked perfectly. If you are in the area, you can make reservations or just drop in. We dropped in and sat out back in a fun enclosed area that was delightful. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. The prices are decent too and the portions are large. The drink menu is extensive and they had a large variety of specialty and holiday drinks. There’s also a great do it yourself Bloody Mary bar so you can customize it to your liking. Highly recommend if your visiting Roanoke.

The menu is extensive and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is usually on point but I had the misfortune of being seated next to a large party with several kids that were extremely noisy and wandered throughout the meal. Our waiter was a pro and he and the manager made it right (along with the extremely classy adults at the large table). Billy’s is the class of Roanoke and never disappoints.

I ordered the crab cake sandwich and fries... Was very good.. service was good also....

Last night, my family enjoyed a wonderful dinner celebrating my daughter's birthday and Navy Grandson's visit for the Christmas holiday. Every part of our evening was perfect, the waiter, Steve, was outstanding and upbeat, the atmosphere was so festive, Food was all served perfectly and could not have been more delicious. Nothing could have been better. We look forward to many more special occasions at Billy's.

My husband and I were staying at the Black Lantern Inn in Roanoke Virginia and asked the proprietor for a recommendation for a close by restaurant and he recommended Billy's. We are so happy that he did as it was top shelf. The food is so good and the service was excellent too. We had the corn and crab bisque that was out of this world good. We also had a salmon salad with honey pecan dressing. Yum! Also the lobster mac and cheese was the best. For dessert the limoncello cake is a must. So very, very good!

Decided on an anniversary lunch at Billy's.
Ashley was our waitress. She was pleasant and personable and took good care of us.
Surprised us with anniversary key lime pie for dessert. Very thoughtful.
We had shrimp and grits and Billy's club. Both were delicious. Appetizers were bacon wrapped scallops (so tender and yummy) and the crab cakes (also very good)
The cocktail was a cucumber drink that I cannot remember the name of.
Ashley recommended it when I asked about it and she was right on the money. It was refreshing and delicious.
All in all --a very nice lunch and reminded me what a nice restaurant Billy's is. We definitely need to come more often!!!

First time eating here. Forgot to make reservations but they were able to seat us immediately despite being extremely busy. The food was delicious, my wife and I both had a house salad, we split an appetizer, lobster Mac'n cheese and had Pan fried trout for entree.
The waiter forgot to put in the lobster Mac'n cheese but it wasn't a big deal. By the time we ate our salads had a few beers and ate the entree we were full anyhow and just took it to go. I still rate 5 stars all the way around and will eat here again in the future.

We had a very nice brunch here. I was worried there weren't reservations available but we were able to get a walk in with a very short and reasonable wait. Food was good. Service was friendly. Menu is a little limited but several Gluten-Free options. Whiskey selection is excellent. Bloody Mary bar and Mimosas were very nice. Coffee was very good.

Most won't care but I was excited to see Hot Ones Los Calientes Rojo hot sauce on the Bloody Mary Bar.

This restaurant is a family establishment yet romantic. The music is from the swing, jazz era. Gabe, our server was very pleasant and spoke with us several times. The service he provided was in line with an upscale establishment. He knew how the meals were prepared as well as the adult beverages. Gabe is a keeper and is a very mature young man. We look forward to seeing him again.

Great food. Good atmosphere/background music. The manager stopped by everyones table and genuinely cared about what the patrons were saying. Difficulty finding parking other than that- I had no issue here at all and will return

The experience is elegant and the waiter was very helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend this restaurant for any celebration, date night, or when you simply want a good meal.

While staying in the US on business travel, last night decided to join some friends of mine, who are local guys and they picked the BILLY'S. They told me it's a nice restaurant with dome good stuff. So I definitely needed to try and see whether they were right.😉👍🏻
First we ordered some appetizers, like parmesan cheese with prosciutto ham and slices of bread, and also oysters. And we also did try some fried scallops wrapped in bacon. And this starter was a blast!! Really good.🥓👌🏻 Afterwards I had a salad with honey dressing and eventually... the star of the night...😜... Lamb Shank!! The lamb was simply delicious snd tender! Meat literally was falling off the bone! Wow!🍗😋🔥👌🏻 It was served with risotto and stewed vegetables. 🍚🥗 And last but not least I decided to try Crème Brûlèe. It was ok but as for myself - was a bit too sweet. I'd like it less sweet. But overall it was a very nice experience and really lovely evening dpent at the Billy's.😎👍🏻

One of the best restaurants in downtown Roanoke. Food and service is always excellent. Atmosphere is excellent either inside, on the patio, or in the private rooms. Also, interesting historic building.

Food was excellent (shrimp and grits, New York Strip and pork belly appetizer)! Wife loved the Mojito. Staff was polite and friendly even at 8pm. Second time here and will definitely be back.
