Gim's Chinese Kitchen

Last month I lucked out in finding a Chinese take-out place still open around 9:15pm when I was on my way back to S.F. after playing some golf at Corica Park. I ordered their special meat combo fried rice and wasn't expecting it to be so good & delicious w/fresh ingredients and very well-cooked. They gave me a lot of food in a big carton and did not skimp at all on the meat portions like many of the other Chinese restaurants-takeouts do. I was definitely full when I finished the meal.
And the woman at the front counter was very friendly.
The only reason I didn't give them 5-stars for Service was that I had to wait a long time for my order. But that was b/c they had some big orders to fill before me.

We love their spicy salt and pepper wings. So good. One order each of is. Chopsuey is excellent, and Gin combination fried rice is a staple for us. YUM!

I mean, it's just damn good. They do not skimp on the meat at all. Not sure if they buy them or make them but the shrimp egg rolls were so sweet. Really good. BBQ pork fries rice was great also.

Gim’s is fantastic; everything tastes home-cooked and flavorful. The pot-stickers and the Mongolian beef are especially good. If you’re looking for great Chinese food for a good price, eat here.

The best Chinese Food in Alameda! They have the best BBQ Pork Fried Rice out of every Chinese Food restaurant! Every dish that I get from Gim's Chinese Kitchen tastes awesome! Highly recommend!

I've been coming here for 20 years. What is most important is that the quality of the meat and fish at Gim's chinese Kitchen is very good. My chow mein and chop suey always contain plenty of wonderful BBQ pork. Plus, the prices are easy on my pocketbook. That is why Gim's Chinese Kitchen is my regular stop for Chinese take-out. There is plenty of parking and relatively close to the freeway. Easy to get to going north or south on highway 880. Service has always been friendly from the staff. One of the few Chinese restaurants that serve crispy noodles on the side with the Chop Suey.

The pork and shrimp are high quality. I have never ordered the beef. This is the best of the moderately priced Chinese restaurants that I have ever seen.

First time trying this place and I loved the food! Got me so full wanting to knock out like a lil baby after lmfao 😂💀 got pork fried rice, fried wontons, lobster an shrimp sauce MMM MM! fuken delicious place no lie. Definitely won't be the last time I eat here

Moved here recently and we've been searching for the best Chinese food. We are done looking! Gim's is fabulous! Their prices are substantially lower than any we've seen also.

Jams fried rice is incredibly good oh and by the way the hot wing salt and pepper with jalapenos and green onions I would recommend that what are the best Chinese food places around

Take out only, no place to sit and eat. Overall friendly service and good food!
