Arlington County Fire Station 2

Absolutely incredible group of people working at this station and the nearby stations. These were the first responders to the December 4th 2023 explosion on N Burlington Street. It was a privilege to watch them work, putting out the ensuing fire and managing the threat to the neighborhood. They worked for hours- all through the night and were the definition of competent, organized professionals. They were also very patient and courteous to the community members, answering our questions when they were able and helping to organize the needs of the evacuees and connecting them with Red Cross support. They and the police, EMTs, FBI and other investigators really have made our community proud.

Four firefighters came to replace my smoke alarm that did not go off when I burned dinner the other night. Thank you for doing a great job and bringing a much taller ladder than I had.

Called about carbon monoxide and they came right over. Inspected the place and gave me an all clear. They couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful
