Great store, friendly staff. Selection is excellent and balanced between old and new world wines.

Excellent prices and variety of wines and beers. Also, mixers & other non-alcoholic beverages. Don’t forget the get munchies while you’re there. This particular store has an excellent assortment of cheeses and charcuterie to go with your favorite beverage!

Great Wine / Beer store for those living in Ballston. While a bit smaller, the selection available is solid and well worth building up loyalty points if frequent buyer of mid/upper level wines.

Michael’s recommendations at this location are a thing of legends. The man is an institution in the Ballston wine drinking community. Service is always top notch, great product, and an awesome team. Keep it up!

Great total wine.. convenience walking distance from Ballston area. Always have white claws in stock! Even a wine chiller for a quick bottle service. Would recommend to anyone!

The staff are warm, inviting and very knowledgeable about which wine pairs with which food or dessert. No corners are cut to ensure that each customer leaves happy and a little more versed in "wineinies". 😉👍👍

Curbside pickup was fast and easy. Parking is underground with a red Total Wine sign indicating customer parking. TW validates parking with a puncher just inside the door.

Fantastic selection of wines and beers. The beer selection is insane with a broad range of types and the wine has a large variety based on what you are looking for.

The staff is attentive and ready to ask if you need help and offer good suggestions. The prices are also excellent and it is highly worthwhile to browse their offerings.

Great selection of both beer and wine, friendly and helpful staff, and they even have free tastings sometimes (although I’m not sure they’ve been doing these since the pandemic). We were so thrilled when they moved to our neighborhood several years ago. We are frequent customers.

Wine and beer only. Great selection of local Virginia craft beer… and available by singles. No need to commit to a whole 6-pack for a questionable beer.

Just discovered Total Wine offers free parking for one hour! Enter the parking garage on the street just prior Mussel Bar. (Glebe & 9th St). They gave me an excellent suggestion for wine needed for a party. Best prices on beer & extensive selection for all beers, sodas, wine and seltzers. Easy check out, even when busy. Clean, friendly staff. Wine tastings are back too.
