Great! Sonny was very helpful. He helped the boys pick out hairstyles and showed them how each would look before hand. He has extreme patience and a good hand. His cuts are beautiful and very precise. I highly recommend.

Jolyn might not look like your typical barber, but don't be fooled. She is a pro and can cut classic, as well as modern cuts. My usual is a fade and it is always clean. She also cuts my twin four your old boys and they both are very comfortable with her. Highly recommend. The back of the shop also has a manicure/pedicure space if you're going for the full pamper session but I have not yet tried.

I have been following Jolyn for a while. My son is autistic and he won't get a hair cut from no one else. My second , kid loves her to.....as well as me. She's awesome with kids....and the hair cuts are great. Why go somewhere else.....you won't regret it. Call in before coming in or if you are lucky walk in. She really busy , and why not she great.

Great barber! I'm surprised he doesn't have more business, but maybe he doesn't want more. He has five or six chairs but I've never seen another barber working with him. Maybe that's because of COVID?

I have started going here since my nail shop on Lincoln Ave has closed down. When I got my nails done the first time i was so pleased i decided to go back. The gel i get on my nails lasts longer at this place and i can grown them easier without them breaking like with other nail shop gel. They spend money on quality products and charge 8-12 dollars less than i am used to for paying for a low quality service. i recommend them to EVERYONE

We have been coming to Jolyn for about three years, at this shop as well as her previous shop. She is very friendly and does a great job with our haircuts. She does not accept appointments but it has been very rare for us to ever have to wait long to be seen.

So honestly I don't know why more people don't use this barber shop in Alameda. No one is ever in there when I go. I mean absolutely no one. And the nice man, who I assume owns the store, just sits there and waits for customers. Everytime I go in he hops right up and asks me to sit down. It might be a deterrent to some because he doesn't speak English very well but the man knows how to fade. And you can't beat the price! Best fade I've gotten on the island for under 25 bucks. He takes his time and gives you a great cut Everytime! Little hidden gem on Park St.

A decent haircut, but the best factor is the price. I go for a pretty simple cut, so I can't speak to how they do on more elaborate styles, but I've gotten good, quick service every time I visit, at a very reasonable price.

I had a 1 mm buzzcut. The friendly owner took his time and did a great job. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended!
