The City Market Building

Great little (huge) building with lots of great spots to get good grub!

Centered in the market square, it's a relaxing place to just stop enjoy a variety of foods. From Caribbean to Chinese, Indian to American, it's a great place for something quick and easy.

The jam on Wednesday night was phenomenal! I recommend checking out their jam if you're I'm the vicinity!

I loved this open spacious and modern area. It was a great place to browse food options or just chill and talk. The food here (that I saw) was interesting (not a typical food court fastfood) - ranging from Carribean to Mediterranean. I think the quality of the food though was just decent. About what I would expect from a food truck. It could have been better, but it was still tasty and enjoyable.

Lots of eating choices. Most in the 5-15 dollar range. Plenty of seating. Kid friendly.

Cool place to hang out for lunch

The Historical City Market Building is one of my favorite places. There are plenty of family friendly events held there, unique decor, delicious restaurants to choose from and plenty of space for last minute group get togethers. The second floor holds art shows and always welcomes last minute elementary school outings with open arms. The staff make the PUBLIC space feel like HOME.

They had Christmas activities for the kids very family friendly!

Great to see the city supporting the downtown as it has been doing. Progressive council is making a huge difference in Roanoke.

Azar Jewelers is a great place to shop. It's family owned and operated. They are friendly and helpful in meeting your needs. Lots of lovely items!

The Star City is a great place to visit, many places to eat, farmers market with wonderful vendors. Stop by and see Rudy, he has everything, personal made walking sticks and canes, and beautiful hand made jewelry and other crafts

Great place to eat lunch downtown. There are a variety of restaurants within the building and it is easy to find. One of my favorite spots with a group.

Get the Mexican. Wow. Taco Tues and Thursday with a California Quesadilla on Wednesday that's tough to just eat half its so big. 2 thumbs up!

Y'all have the Best burgers ever and when I have the money again I am definitely coming back 2 y'all and the Greatest Fries Ever cook them just right

Very cool place to walk around! Lots of shops and areas set up for vendors!

Fun place with multiple food choices. There was a band upstairs meeting to practice and play music. There is a farmer's market outside and more restaurants and shops.

Nice place. Full of excitement. Downtown is SCARY AT NIGHT....which is aa major shame!!!!
