My new favorite shop for toys & books! Helpful and knowledgeable attendants. Prices are very reasonable. Had a very inclusive and diverse reading selection for kids of all ages and backgrounds.

Hadn't been in this place in nearly 50 years, when I needed to put together a gift for a friend who was grieving on the quick.
So I created something at home and went to Mr Mopps, get the stuff I needed to finish it, and the staff was super helpful giving me suggestions on how to decorate my gift, they wrapped it perfectly, and they're just really nice people and brought back nice memories of my childhood visiting this place once or twice.
You can feel the Christmas expectation in the air, and the staff is as nice as they come.
If you need a kid's book, high quality kids toys, puzzles, projects, coloring and painting supplies, and much more, give this place a visit!

a lot of toy stores have some scientific stuff and a lot of stuff toys and blocks and things. This place has tons of STEM related toys. Heaven.

There's also a very nice bookstore section with a ton of fantastic books in there. They even had an elephant and piggy doodle and coloring book so my daughter is thrilled.

I want to buy half the store and just keep it in a closet in my house until they're old enough! Really great stuff here. A local Gem. Come on by and check it out!

We shopped here when our kids were small and now shop at Mr Mopps for our grandkids. They carry a large array of intriguing items (e.g., a yodeling pickle was a huge hit for preschoolers). This is the best toy store that I have ever found! Highly recommend!

Located in a very cute neighborhood, the staff are plentiful and helpful. The aisles are packed with educational and fun toys and activities for all ages. Goldiblocks, robot kits, plush toys, and everything in between.

Best toy store EVER (better than Amazon)! It has been around for as long as I can remember. This store has the perfect mixture of classics and and top toys. As an added bonus, they also sell books!

One of my favorite places! Plenty of high quality, fun, interesting, lovely toys. And the bookstore, don’t get me started! Staff at both sides are amazing and will help you find the perfect thing. Only bad part is I have a hard time leaving!

I am a giant nerd, and you can trust me when i say that this is the Best toy shop in the East Bay. It isn't just that they have great service and people who care about helping you find the right thing. Devin and Jenny have gone out of their way to create a shop that is filled with live and thoughtfulness. And don't miss their bookstore!

Fantastic book selection. Fun and diverse variety of toys and games. A fun, fun place for kids of all ages.

So parking is good within a block or so which I don't mind, the neighborhood is nice and the blocks aren't oversized so it's a short walk. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Went in to buy stuff for gift bags for the kids attending a five year olds birthday party. Found everything we wanted, some items are 50 cents or less and there's a good variety of things to choose from. It's a fun store with great prices and great people.

I always buy child gifts here. Good selection for all ages, unique toys found nowhere else.

Sweet little place. Wonderful toys and the helpers are real helpers!! I was looking for a specific type of hand puppet - not fancy - just a simple little hand puppet. Though it was not an expensive toy the helper was great. She wanted me to find what I wanted and I finally did find one little hand puppet. The others were great but too big or detailed.

This is what a toy store should be like. Friendly staff, large selection, big space. Their rewards program is great. They have a large, Clean bathroom. They do a great job wrapping (for a fair $1). And their bookstore two doors down is cozy and inviting.
