Very popular park for locals. It’s family friendly. Non challenging walking paths. Surrounded by hillsides with great 360 vistas, an old historic fishing pier that’s a favorite with locals.

Beautiful day, clear skies, great views so decided to visit one of Richmond's historical sites.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk-around and picnic in this park. We felt safe due to park Rangers and the city Police officers driving through it. It is a very nice park.

Amazing views of the diverse environment of the bay, oil refinery, paved & dirt trails, steep in all directions. Narrow winding residential road to get there. Can be windy. Worth it though! Like & follow for more.

Impromptu trip to point Richmond, plenty of parking, open restrooms and fresh air.

We decided to walk on the other side of the train track (non working) and walk along the Bay. The road is rocky, so wear comfy shoes. Don't be scared by all the prairie dogs, they're everywhere but they're harmless.

Lots of picnic areas with bbq grills near parking lot. Must wear a mask and maintain a distance but we only wore ours when there were other people around, luckily when we went there was no one on the trail but us. Would definitely come here again for the walk and fresh air.

Great place for a large group gathering. There were so many birthday parties and baby showers.

This is a great park! If you want to BBQ and have great views of the Bay, this is an excellent choice. If you want to hike, it is also a really fun option. I did a big loop starting at Old Country Road, continuing up to Crest Trail Point, and the views were outstanding. I saw an osprey, turkey vultures, many kinds of butterfly, bumblebees, and I loved the thickets of monkeyflowers everywhere! I'd advise being cautious of the poison oak, which is quite frequent on the slopes. But this is a gem!

A great park for picnicking, playing, walking, dog walking. It is sorrounded with beautiful hills, bay and also SF sky line is close by too. There is a nice lagoon in the park along with many picnic areas and restrooms.

Great place to walk and play and get away. Walking path around the pond is nice. A couple playgrounds are cool. Lots of picnic areas, I think by reservation. Huge grassy area. Shoreline. Train museum and more trails up the hill, right across the street.

If you choose to give a thumbs-up 👍🏽 or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Has alot of new graffiti that ruins the park, but they are working on it, so maybe in a few weeks it will be back to good health, I had 3 stars before, but come on its the park i go easter egg hunting at, they popped my tire too. I got opinions too

Beautiful park that is well maintained. The bathrooms are very nice and look pretty new. There are fun playgrounds. Many BBQ stands. You can walk around the lagoon or hike near by. If a person prefers flat walking, they can follow the side walk(or abandoned train tracks) along the side of the bay. This brings you to an old pier. Looks like trains delivered to ships there. That pier had a fire at some point. Now there is a small pier adjacent to it, safe to walk on. Also, there is no fishing license required on that pier.

Great park with beautiful views of the bay and SF, and a choice of flat pavement and trails or a little hike up the hills. There are restrooms and water fountains too.

I could see decades of history and reading the details on the park placards filled in the details. Lots of do here with a relatively new pier for fishing (and viewing SF bay area), working bathrooms, and even a shore launch for kayaks. Great dog friendly place to hang out. And there's even grills, picnic tables and A PLACE TO WASH YOUR DISHES just outside bathrooms. Highly recommended.

I love this play, it's 5 minutes away from my house and I can take my two years old on my back. It's a pretty easy hike to get to a nice view.
Took us about an hour up and down

Outstanding hiking trails with plenty of million dollar views.

Trails lead to town via tunnel & also to Richmond's finest craft brewery: East Brother Brewhouse.

Great place to enjoy Point Richmond's conserved history! Highly recommended:-)

This is probably one of the best walks you're going to get in Richmond. I've been doing this walk for years and it's always a treat to have that day off and go along the water.

Always a pleasant short walk...walking the man made Lake is about 1 mile, if you walk to the Bay and add that to your walk, it's almost 2 miles. Problem with that is, some people don't leash their dogs on that side of the park😒

Great for walking dogs or for a leisurely stroll. There is usually a nice breeze and this part of the park does not have as much foot traffic as picnicking area. There is a kayak launching area and a few picnic tables. Access to an old pier that used to be part of the Richmond-Sf ferry. Overall, a great place to see the bay area sunset. Rest room area next to fish cleaning station os pretty clean. Only thing it needs is more trash/recycling bins.
