I always find what I want and the products are high quality. The meat department staff are quality people and always "friendly". The meat and fish display is beautiful.

Just a solid neighborhood grocery store. They have all of the staples, as well as a decent fresh sushi section and all of the hard seltzers you can possibly desire. They also have a prepared food section, if you're into that and need something quick on the go.

Well stocked shelves with a good wine, beer and liquor selection. Good place for all the staples and organic produce. Wish they had a bit more selection in the international foodstuffs though but overall a good place for groceries

I love shopping here -- the seafood and protein selections are fantastic. You can always count on finding a new brew, wine or spirit to add to your collection upon your visit. The best part is the staff -- they're always friendly.

Small store, big price. Very clean, and well organized. Parking lot is a disaster. Who ever designed it needs their head examined. Small parking spots, narrow spaces between cars.
Huge bulk good area.

This store has a smaller selection but they have more items that will appeal to foodies. The deli has a hot meal bar, a salad bar and refrigerated items to bring home and heat. Employees are very friendly.

Had everything I was looking for and the staff is super friendly. A little bit confusing due to the other Safeway a couple of blocks away with many items shared in between them although this is the smaller of the 2 and more busy but has all the essentials.

Absolutely love getting the very tasty hot bar for breakfast and lunch! If you haven't been, stop in to check it out. Great and healthy options without the need to wait for deli service.

Great organic produce and friendly, helpful staff make this a weekly go to for us. It is a bit pricey, though, but as a one stop shopping experience where we can get everything in one go in this time of Covid 19, and at a place that is spotlessly cleaned, it is worth it for us.

It's spruced up and pretty well stocked. Carts are cleaned and customers are using social distancing. Like all brands under the Safeway umbrella, aisles are now one way.

Beautiful grocery store in Berkeley with a nice selection of prepared and deli foods. Great selection of wine as well. A little on the pricey side, but the quality is definitely there.

Money saving tip! Download Safeway's app. There are digital coupons and discounts in the app that give you free items you actually can use. I love avocados, and get some free every month along with other offers. The app is for both Apple and Android phones, and the stores have free WiFi. You can add the app from the notice that pops up when connecting to the WiFi. I remember this store from when it was Andronico's. Now it's a Safeway, but some of the same nice staff are here. The selections have shifted a bit, but the prices are lower. It's nice and clean.

This is a newly remodeled store that offers a great variety of food, very popular in this area of Berkeley and always busy. The staff is great, store is always clean and they have a very good variety of food for your shopping needs.

Safeway took over Andronico's here and has been great about keeping it much like Andronico's was. They have many items that Andronico's used to carry plus Safeway items as well. Very friendly employees, hot bar, sushi, custom sandwiches, and good deli section. Love to eat and shop there.

This is a supermarket with a lot of choices. Fresh bread and pastries... Vegetable... Very good choices of olives. You can find good quality food!

This store is Amazing. Customer service is always Nice. So much better than the Shattuck and Rose store. They are horrible and need to close. From the management down. They are the worst store in Safeway stores.

This is a combination of Safeway and Andronicos. Great deli, produce, bakery and meats. All great food and beverages in one store.
