Safeway

This Safeway used to be open 24 hours a day, but they've had to close on some nights because of shoplifters. It's a shame that we can't have good things because of a few idiots. It was wonderful being able to go to this Safeway in the middle of the night whenever I needed something. It's a great store

Relaxed shopping experience (on a saturday afternoon).
They have a selection of stuff imported from Israel, so if you miss bamba or soup almonds or elite chocolate, this is the place to go for a taste of home...

The hours are great, the staff are helpful and they carry a wide variety of products. We always shop here for last minute items.

Your basic ALL-NIGHT grocery, with just about anything anyone could suddenly need at 4:00 AM. sometimes a little light on selections, it's basically a giant all night convenience store.
The people that work here should get medals. They're the most patient and helpful people in the entire community, and we would starve if it wasn't for them no lie

If you want only what you need, go to this one.

Always good to shop at Safeway 🦉. They still carry all my favorite Safeway Select products. And terrific produce and meats. This remains one of the best Safeway stores in the bay area, for friendliness and everything.

I have grown to love this store.I love the employees fŕom the checkers to the baggers.It may not be as big&fancy as other locations but I prefer the sense of community.

This is a small 24/7 Safeway (SFW) that's well stocked and they try hard to provide friendly customer service. It was remodeled about 2 years ago and has a small deli area that closes by 8 PM as well as a small floral area. There is no meat counter and no in-house bakery. Their baked items and breads are limited and are stocked by larger SFW. Remember to ask for a 90-day raincheck whenever any sale items are out of stock. Parking lot is small and a little tight but it's open 24/7!

I love going to a big store like this because I don't have to shop everywhere to find one thing. There was one person that was always very helpful to me in the store named Chris. I did not realize that it was a manager of the store that kept assisting me I thought he was just one of the super people that works there anyway.

Small store great employees well stocked. Except for the meat section it small but for what they have it's well stocked as well. Just not a lot of choices. I go here for quick runs.

I came around 3AM and it was open. Definitely not the most amazing Safeway, but they have the essential needs.

Good customer service at counter, but had to tell security to stop following me, said nothing about my puppy who wasn't on leash.

I still appreciate Albany Safeway. They are a small store, but they have many essential items. I can get in and out in good time. The checkers are pleasant.

This Safeway on lower Solano is low key and easy. Their selection is more limited than the Safeway on Shattuck and less curated than the Andronicos/Safeway hybrids. However, if you can't find exactly what you want, you can definitely find enough to get by. Also, their produce department is generally well stocked and displayed.

I go to the deli there 3 to 4 times a week. Its always stocked and the hot food is always a go to. My personal favorite the baby bbq ribs!

Agreed. Good service almost every time i came here. One of the few places on Solano i can park consistently. Its a local small Safeway so dont expect the same huge stock as EC Norte one for example.

Nice 24/7 Safeway. Usually the wait at the cashier is no longer than 5 minutes. It's rather small but you can find all the essentials here.

My favorite grocery store near me. Yes, I could goto T.J, Whole Food, Sprouts or Albertson, but I don't need an organic watermelon or banana... Nor do I want to use my whole paycheck on groceries. What I do need is large selections and a good variety of items. For these reasons, safeway is exactly what I need. 😀

This is a small Safeway store but most of tge time thou who'll find all you need for cooking, health and their staff is always so welcoming and ready to help.
