Capps Chiropractic Clinic

I injured myself and knocked my pelvic bone out of place. I went to the emergency room, waited 8 hrs for them to inform me they could not help me, they sent me home with hard drugs and said they could not do the manipulations need to align my pelvic bone. I called Capps office Saturday morning, they fit me into their schedule the same day. Dr. Capps evaluated my condition, relaxed my muscles to make sure my body can handle the manipulation. He then proceeded to align my pelvic bone. He put me on strict bedrest with ice. Informed me to stay away from heat and in 2 days I was able to walk around with minimal pain. He also provided some after care advice to be sure I don't knock myself put of place by suggesting I get a back brace when trying to lift heavy objects. I had a wonderful experience and I am so grateful for them making my issue a priority.

I was in a motor vehicle accident. I’ve been through physical therapy and everything and nothing else help me. I am a contractor and I thought I was going to have to change a profession, but after my first visit, I could mediately notice a difference in my mobility after my second visit, I was able to perform my work duties as normal. It was like a godsend completely have changed my life and my outlook. I feel like I will be able to provide for my family for a much longer time I’m only a 30 year old man and I thought that I was going to have to find it something completely The doctor is very nice. The receptionist is very nice. They are just wonderful people to work with, and I would recommend them to everyone in the world.

Absolutely love this place! I haven't had to get an adjustment in almost a year but I tell you what, they were there for me when I needed them. I was in a lot of pain and Dr. Capps and his team would see me days at a time to help me get through the flare ups and ensure I was on my way to healing. The entire staff is very personable and you feel like you matter here. Please consider checking this place out if you are in need chiropractic services.

I've been a patient with Dr Capps since 1992. I moved to Charlotte in 1996 and my work had me living in Cary, Concord and Winston Salem where I had Chiropractors in each city. He and Dr Sharp in WS are the 2 best, out of at least 15 other chiropractors and general back therapists I tried. I can't recommend Dr Capps enough. High 5 stars!

Exceptional customer service! I experienced a back injury from working out. I was in severe pain. I called Capps Chiropractic, who was about to close, and they fit me in. I was provided cold water with a straw and ice packs (to also take home) while getting a treatment. The owners were kind and engaged in great conversation. I was provided guidance on how to get in my car properly. Capps excepts insurance. Also, I received a hard copy assessment of my visit. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give MORE stars!!! After a really bad experience with another chiropractor many years ago.....I was very nervous coming here for the first time!!!!!! I was IMMEDIATELY set to ease when Virginia came in the room and how NICE she was. Dr. Capps was absolutely WONDERFUL and explained what my issues are and made me feel very very comfortable very quickly. They are amazing people all around with GREAT personalities!!!!! Christine was so very kind and helpful. I seriously can not say enough great things about this place!!!!! Although my issues are going to take a bit of time to fix.... after the first visit I do feel a little difference.... but I've had many many years of back and shoulder pain and it is a bit better just after one visit so far!!!

Due to 28 years of sitting at my office desk, I was in a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and lower back. Over the past month, I also developed a pain in my shoulder which became unbearable. I reached out to Capps after reading other reviews. The initial assessment of me and range of motion test were not good and a possible future fusion was mentioned. However, once Dr.Capps did his hands on treatment, I had great results and we were much more optimistic. After three treatments, I feel like a completely different person. His wife, Virginia is a physical therapist and diagnosed my shoulder issue as a pinched nerve. She has been able to do therapy and release the nerve. I was at Capps Chiropractic in 2016 originally and at the time I was so hurt by my accident and injury. I couldn't even think of doing a review in 2016 I just wanted to heal. Dr. Capp, his wife Mrs. Capp, and Christine took really Great Care of me. At the time I was so tinder and so injured that most chiropractor's would be scared to treat me. When I first met with him and he was evaluating my treatment I looked him square in the eyes and said "I need you to please help me", with tears in my eyes. Dr. Capp said 'I will do everything that I can". He did just that. In time I was able to see progress and get to a stable point of mobility. Till this day June 13, 2022 I keep in touch with him and his office staff because they are such an amazing group of people that truly care about your overall well being. I pray that if you're looking for a professional that has the experience, results, knowledge, and heart for this chiropractic profession. That you choose Dr. Capps Chiropractic you will not be disappointed.

I woke up on a Saturday morning in so much pain I could barely move my head. I called on a whim to see if they could see me {as a new patient} and they told me to head over they would do their best to fit me in. Much to my surprise when I got there they brought me straight back and I saw the Dr within 20 minutes. They gave me amazing treatment and treated me as if I was a long term patient the whole time. They explained things to me as I went and every step of the way made sure I was comfortable with everything. Thank you for saving my weekend and ensuring my pain was all but gone!!

This place is amazing. I hurt my back and called multiple Chiropractic Clinics and Dr. Capp was the only one that welcomed me same day and was by far the most polite. The front desk, Virginia, was a blast to work with and helped me every step of the way. They explained my injury in depth and gave me multiple solutions and preventive care for the future. Will definitely go back and recommend anyone to come here!!

A great chiropractor is the best word that comes to my mind when I think of Dr. Capps. I have been a patient of his since he came to Roanoke about twenty years ago. Although I am a chiropractor, I, too, need maintenance services or sometimes services for just maintaining my mobility. I trust Dr. Capps as a diagnostician and practitioner who can analyze which modalities will be helpful and provide adjustments as needed. Mostly, I like that Dr. Capps understands the patient and takes time to listen and provide whatever health needs that he can within his scope of practice. Dr. Capps and his staff cares and wants to maintain a positive, productive health outcome for his patient. He understands his field and is quite knowledgeable about the medical field which helps me to discuss physical concerns with minimal explanation. He then can address my chiropractic needs. I travel more than three hours round trip to seek his services, so he must be worth it! And I know that I am not the only who recognizes his skill.

It's hard to believe that I've been going to Dr. Capps for 20+ years. Time sure flies! A lot has changed in those years, but one thing has remained the same -- Dr. Capps is just as reliable today as he was when I first started treatment in my teens.

I've heard some horror stories about chiropractors, but you can rest assured that Dr. Capps will treat you well and increase your well-being. I could always tell, when it was getting close to time for an adjustment. Once I'd leave Dr. Capps' office, I oftentimes felt like a new person, ready to take on anything ahead of me.

And yes, the man has quite an affinity for some baseball! I've seen him on occasion at the Salem Red Sox games, and he and Virginia have never hesitated to stop and say hello and talk for a bit. Dr. Capps isn't just an ordinary doctor, rather he's more like the people's champ of doctors.

I highly suggest Dr. Capps for anyone with any kind of spine, joint or muscular discomfort or headaches. He is dedicated in his profession, and he and his assistant Christine will take extremely good care of you!

Pain doesn't always have a quick cure. My first visit to Dr Capps was 17 years ago. I was pregnant and in so much pain I could barely walk. After a couple of treatments I was pain-free, and continued care with him through my pregnancy remaining pain-free the whole time.
I still have chronic pain issues that he is always able to help with. If you need relief, you need Dr Capps!

I was crying and screaming, getting out of bed every morning after a stupid accident with some patio furniture. After I finally decided to see someone, I found Dr. Capps online, and they fit me in within an hour of my call on a Saturday! Everyone in the office is so nice and always make me feel at ease. After the first session, I at least felt like my back wasn't going to fall apart, and the pain was dramatically reduced. It didn't take long at all before I was pain-free and simply working to rehab the muscles. They made my insurance process a breeze (which can sometimes be a hassle). I would recommend for anyone in need of chiropractic services. Give them a try!

As a owner of a day spa, and a full service cosmetologist, working in excess of 65 hours per week. Dr. Capps has enabled me to continue in the profession I truly love. I now attend monthly adjustments to maintain. If I have a problem occur, Dr.Capps is very accommodating with his appointment schedule, enabling me to continue working that day. Dr. Capps is AMAZING! He is reasonably priced and very knowledgable. His staff is so nice and will accommodate you. Before seeing him, I was in excrutiating pain in my upper right back. I was nearly pain free after my first visit and completely pain free with full range of motion in my right arm after my 3rd visit. I also had issues with my knees since before I can remember. Dr. Capps immediately knew it was the arches in my feet that were the issue after a short exam he did. He recommended custom orthodic inserts for my shoes. He made my foot imprint and had the inserts to me within a week (he sends the imprints to a company that makes them) and my knees felt incredible after wearing them during and after cross fit. Highly, highly recommend him!!!!

After the accident my neck was stiff and very, very painful; I could not turn it in any direction. Now, thanks to your great services, I am back to good health.
