I am so incredibly grateful for and pleased with my experience at The Sams Clinic. Dr. Sams and his team are the best of the best. My german shepherd/Rottweiler mix was suffering from a partially torn CCL. Dr. Sams performed the TPLO surgery and we couldn’t have had a better experience from start to finish. 10/10 recommend this clinic for your pup’s orthopedic needs and surgeries.

My experience with The Sam's Clinic began in 2023, with Dr. Milinda Lommer at Aggie Animal Dental Center. The Dental Center is opened adjacent to The Sams Clinic.

Following the successful dental cleaning procedure, we turned to The Sam's Clinic to address our sixteen-year-old Pom-Chi's arthritis.

We were fortunate to have our dog seen by Dr. Dana Whitlock, whose expertise in both physical therapy and veterinary medicine proved invaluable for treating our dog's leg and knee issues. Certainly, Dr. Dana Whitlock, DVM, MS, DACVSMR, and Board Certified Sports Medicine And Rehabilitation Specialist is a highly skilled practitioner and healer.

Dr. Sams is one of the most genuine and caring Veterinarian Specialists I’ve met. He has seen my dog for two different issues and went above and beyond. He discovered the underlying cause of my dog’s limp and connected us with an Oncologist for treatment the same day. I wish Dr. Sams could be our general veterinarian.

My experience at Sam's with my fourteen and a half year old dog was stellar from start to finish. Samantha did a fabulous job during the original screening. When we walked through the door my dog was immediately greeted by name. Dr. Whitlock was very thorough in her examination and we left with good news about my dog's orthopedic health. Was referred by a friend whose dog had successful patella surgery here. Impressive and caring team of veterinary practitioners.

Caring and competent staff. My dog was well cared for. Luckily, surgery was not needed, but if it had been, I would have been very confident in the outcome.

Best, orthopedic veterinary facility. Excellent doctors and staff. Book in advance. It typically takes a while to get in. It's worth starting your treatment with another vet while you're waiting to get your appointment. They are worth every penny

This is the second dog we've owned that has had surgery at Sam's Clinic,we cannot say enough praise of our Dr and his team.The time and care that he puts into the well being of our most loved family member being our great Pyrenees Ash ,has been nothing short of amazing!! He makes sure that everything is right with your dog before any surgery takes place ,they are very cautious caring and patient,and always takes whatever time is needed to explain to you everything they are doing and what to expect.We really never have to worry when we bring our sweet ash or any dog to Sam's Clinic they truly are the best.

It's been two weeks since my 7.5 yr old bichon had her TPLO surgery. Couldn't help myself to give a review. My dog always uncontrollably shake when she goes to see vet, but this is our third time visiting Dr Sams Clinic, she does NOT shake when she is here! That's how I know people here take great care of her. This clinic not only take great care of my dog but also take care of nervous parents like me. Sending my dog to a surgery can be overwhelming, but Dr Sams, Dr Whitlock, technician Lauren, Kim, and front desk people are so so so nice, warm, informative and professional, that I believe my dog is in great hands. Doctors and staff are accessible and extremely helpful, feeling like they are always there to address any of my concerns. My dog is on track of her recovery, I will update her progress in future!

Update: It’s been 9 months since my dog had the surgery. She is doing great. Due to covid19, dr Whitlock called me and sent me videos to guide me how to do physical therapies at home, and that dramatically improved my dog’s sport ability. The first few months was difficult. Since she was still under the physical therapy, I could see her injured leg was still not quite there yet. After keep practicing what Dr Whitlock told me for months, now my dog can walk, run and play almost like she never had the injury. Of course, I’m still very cautious about the amount of exercise she receives each time, but I’m so happy that she is back on the hiking trail and we can do mini hikes like 1 or 2 miles now! Thanks you Dr Sams and Dr Whitlock and everyone in the clinic. You are awesome!

Dr. Sams was the only doctor who could figure out what was wrong with our dog. She couldn't move without screaming in pain and he was able to pinpoint the issue and tell us on what part of her body to have an ultrasound. He was correct; it was a degenerated disc. After surgery in Rohnert Park with Dr. Lavely (an excellent surgeon) our dog was as good as new. This was 13 years ago and we'll never forget either of them. Thank you Dr. Sams.

My dog had TPLO and cruciate surgery here.. wonderful place very happy with the service and care they took with my dog.

We had our dog’s surgery done here about 3 years ago. Our dog Sherman is still doing great. Awesome staff, amazing Doctor. Sherman had torn both of his ACL’s. After the surgery he was bandaged up but walked out that day. We drove to Mill Valley from Fresno, CA and it was worth every minute of the drive.

Our dog had a knee operation He's doing very well. Employees were very knowledgeable and helpful the veterinarian was very good very knowledgeable very helpful It was a good experience on the human side. Our dog is doing very well I would highly recommend it.

Every one at The Sam's Clinic is extremely professional, helpful and friendly. I've taken 3 of my dogs to the Clinic over the last 16 years and they have received my superb care

So thoughtful, patient, and nice with my complicated doggo, who has both fear of vets and dog reactivity-related issues
