Definitely the best record store I’ve been to since I moved here. Literally the only record store where I found sealed Korn LPs. Pretty good prices and a lot of good stuff!

Great vinyl selection and well as great pricing. Also has a giant selection of old Record Store Day releases in the upstairs loft. I’ve found lots of hidden gems over the years. Over all a great record store!

My Dad got me my first record and turn table in 5th grade. Ever since then I have been collecting and ever since then I have been coming here. Love it and Gary is the best. Definitely should come and check it out!

Luv the vibe at this place, the guy had Mott The Hoople playing when I walked in. The rock area seamed a bit crowded with the shelves tiered from one level waist high to the bottom shelf on the floor. He did have a rolling stool but some inner rows of LPs need to be rolled around a bit to make enough room. I will definitely be geared up for this my next visit.

I love record stores. This place has a huge variety that utilizes the space it has. And the guy who owns the place is always picking up more records. There's a whole nother room I haven't even explored yet, with cds and even a few tapes if I'm not mistaken, but the records room tucked to the side is where I spent most of my time here. Will have to come back for more.. it's probably one of my new favorite places here.

The best music shop in town! I love going to Mill Valley Music! The collection is great, there is always something g here for you. Drop by and say hi to Gery, he is knowledgeable and incredibly kind.

This small music store is one of the best I’ve ever been to. The owner is very kind and will always help you find the music you need. The records are in very nice condition, and are very cheap. What more could you ask for? Record player necessities are also available, such as record cleaners.

This is the best vinyl shop in the Bay Area and one of the best in America. A great selection of used and new records. The owner, Gary, knows everything and can get you any record. Very friendly and fair prices.

Be prepared to be very impressed. You have never seen so many Cd's or cassettes. A Veritable gold mine. The owner is a really nice guy. Accepts donations...got too many Cd's? Call him...

One of few record store that are the Diamond in the rough. You can spend hours on-end searching for that record you want. It's like treasure, especially up top were the 45's are. It is a fun monster store that i'll always enjoy whenever i have a chance to visit there.

My go to spot for vinal! The owner is very friendly, and knows everything about music. A great place to get records, CDs, music collectables, or just talk about the musical world. It's also an iconic spot in Mill Valley history, and has lots of depth. Worth at least popping in and checking it out!

I have known Gary, the owner for more years than I care to remember. He's a great softball player & Little League coach, as well as a music aficionado. Gary has musical knowledge personified & his many years of working at Village Music has taught him how to handle customers in a thoughtful and tactful manner. Gary, being a musician himself, understands what goes into the making of a recording & has vast knowledge of the changing trends in the music industry. Coming into Mill Valley Music is like what I imagined the old days to be where folks sat around a cracker barrel and discussed the days events. People often come in there to discuss who they might have seen recently during a "live" performance. It's a very lively atmosphere that lends itself to some spirited conversations.
Gary always has time to chew the fat while maintaining an excellent collection of both the latest recordings as well as some wonderful vintage works. If you're looking for anything from Ravi Shakar to Tangerine Dream, MV Music is the place for you. by MCV
