Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital

I was referred here after my dog had an eye infection and my primary vet couldn't see him right away. My little buddy received the best possible care by a friendly caring staff! Had such a good experience I'd consider breaking up with my primary vet. I'd rate them as 5 stars too.

We took our chihuahua for the first time to Alto Tiburon Veterinary and we love everything about this place. They were so sweet, nice and kind to my girl. Great communicators. We called this morning and they gave us same an appointment for the same day; the only vet in Marin who understood our panic and stress, thank you! Our girl stayed there for a couple of hours in a confortable bed and covered with a blanket, priceless.

We love this place! We’ve been a couple of times now with our French Bulldog puppy and our experience with them has been nothing but professional, warm, and knowledgeable. They’re very responsive over email and are great with our pup! He’s a shy guy but they handle him with such kindness that he stays calm the whole time. They’re also very patient with us and our “new dog parent” questions - especially Dr. Camille, she’s great!

My cat and I both love coming to the Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital! The staff is friendly and always go above and beyond in providing a 'pawsitive' experience. They are able to answer any questions, and will respond to any phone calls or e-mails in just a few hours. My cat has a recurring problem that requires her to take a couple of medications, the Dr remembered that my cat had difficulty taking those specific medications in pill form so they were able to give her the liquid version instead. I am so thankful to have such an amazing veterinary hospital less than a mile away from where I live. I've never seen my cat so calm and at ease while visiting the Dr as she is while in the hands of the wonderful vet techs and Drs at the Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital. I know I can trust that my cat will be happy, healthy, and safe while she is under their care. They truly are knowledgeable and kind. I have been bringing my cat here for about four years now, and whether she was brought in for just a check-up or an emergency visit I never felt like I was being rushed through the appointment, all my questions and concerns were taken care of. If I ever expand my pet family I would gladly bring them in to the Alto Tiburon Veterinary Hospital because I know they would be in good hands and have a 'pawsitive' experience with lots of pats and chin scratches.

My vet of 20 years retired and I was referred to Alto Tiburon. I had to find someone quick because my cat was in a lot of pain. I called and described my situation and was super happy that they could fit us in right away. Dr. Leah was a gem and provided a diagnosis within hours. She saved my cat from further pain. Many thanks as well to the Alto Tiburon staff. These people care.

Had nothing but great experiences with the staff and the vets and it's one of those vets you can actually go inside with your dog!! Which anyone who is a dog owner knows is crucial we put up with this through the pandemic but why we're putting up with it now we shouldn't have to. You will not have that experience here great care great staff

We brought our Boston Terrier in after collapsing unexpectedly. We were met with not only an urgent response, but complete compassion and reliability. The Dr. Dowell and the team were incredible. The extensive testing led to an early detection of a heart issue; which led us down the correct path of treatment. I cannot thank the team enough for treating our Boston as if it were their own. A million thanks to the entire team!

We love this veterinary practice! The team is phenomenal with answering all of our questions and concerns, in addition to keeping us informed of what regular checkups are needed. They are so kind, responsive and truly caring of your animals!

This is one of those situations I beat myself up for not having written a review.... in fact, I thought I had. These people have been there for me, so many times... they are polite, patient, competent, with *GREAT* bedside manner. How have I not written a review??

They are very caring, and understanding of costs. They are also really well connected, in that they had an open line of communication with the emergency hospitality in San Rafael, the one time Pavlov bashed his nose. They are great with suggesting options, and very thorough. They also seem to have every single preventive treatment available, from "no anaesthesia" dental work to arthro-laser treatment for arthritis. They've been a tremendous help with prevenitive care for my 13 year old pooch, Pavlov. Dr. Franck and Dr. Power both REALLY care, and the entire staff have always been charming and delightful. Thanks guys!

Amazing staff, they take excellent care of my pet rats. Most vets don't bother to see them but they have specialists there that handle small mammals and are familiar with them. I drive from rohnert park because I know that I can get help asap if needed and they're great people!

Warm, friendly, incredibly caring and professional. Dr. Chrisann Ohler is a wealth of veterinary knowledge and a gem in the community. I bring my pets from San Francisco to see her and recommend her enthusiastically to all of my friends. She truly loves animals and her staff and has built a charming hospital.

I love love love alto tiburon and dr Ohler and wouldn't take my dog Harper anywhere else. The staff is caring and helpful and they seem to love my dog..... Dr Ohler is thorough and calming and has a wonderful demeanor. She is also not an alarmist and answers any and all questions.....

Vets are really spectacular. Kind, clear, honest. Both our dogs love it here.

They saw my sick dog, Halo the same day I called them. They were caring and awesome, and have gained a client for life.

You guys need somewhere to pick your pets this is the one. Dropped off the boss's dog now he's a great day biggest they've ever seen. He was so gentle and happy what a great job they got giving shots. No one got a eating today. Hahaha

The vets are kind and are responsive to both emails and phone calls. I have always been able to get an appointment within a day or two of calling.
