I've only been to one class at Red Dragon, but the teacher, Mona, was so wonderful I have to give her a shout out. Her cues were extremely helpful and she guided me smoothly through my first class. She and the students were very welcoming, giving me little tips and encouragement before the class began. Thank you. I'll be back.

Stephanie the owner is great. They also offer yoga teacher training for 200 hours which you can do while you keep your job, family, school etc. This place is fabulous. Every training is amazing. Every class is so good. This is not a yoga studio this is a community and I love it!!!!

I have been coming to Red Dragon Yoga off and on about 7 years. More seriously for about a year.

Its obvious the students take the practice seriously. The same faces can be seen in many different classes during the week. That level of dedication speaks volumns about the studio the classes and the teachers. People dont just come back day after day week after week for years if they didnt feed their souls here. Ive done some of my deepest healing on myself during the Bikram Classes. Those old hidden wounds can be resleased and if your self aware you will know it when something shakes loose during class. Wether students are aware of it or not allot is happening on so many levels beyond just the physical.
I am grateful to have been introduced to Yoga at Red Dragon and the handful of teachers that help me grow and develope my practice.
Over time i have made friends with many of the other students and i have often felt like it has become a sacred safe haven for the yoga family who truly make Red Dragon what it is. That healing energy comes from every one in class and i am grateful for that as well.
I am Man enough to know that many women in the same room can create a very powerful healing space. Thank You divine Goddess!
I cant wait to come back to class.

First time and I was thrilled! The class was awesome, super high energy, the instructor (Ed) was knowledgeable and fun and the music was great. The studio is clean and well appointed. Highly recommend this place to anyone, I will be back many times!

My friend bought me a yoga package pass. I was so excited to try. The few times times I took classes couldn't stand it. The place is overcrowded, stinky dark studio due not enough ventilation and cleaning between classes. Sometimes the staff at front can be rude.
You are so close to your neighbor not even feel comfortable to do your poses. Despite they have great instructors I think it is not fair for the students and the instructors.
They should control the number of people in the class. I couldn't back there to complete my classes.

I am editing this review to make a correction: They are considering letting people they previously banned due to unreasonable understanding of how to run a good studio.

Just like children need a time out so do some students. This is better than outright banning them just because they disagree with your policie

However with principles, we can all agree that a good studio has these same qualities:
1. Good customer service, front desk help, clear expectations regarding prices, policies, student orientation & so forth. A diplomatic/yogic process of handling disputes.
2. Exceptional teachers. Yoga teachers who have made yoga the heart of their lives & are dedicated to serving others in the line of yoga teachings.
3. Clean, well kept, organized facilities.
4. A space to go & unwind. A place that is comfortable to be yourself in.

Red dragon yoga studios need some serious inprovement:
1. Staff are often rude, misleading, & rarely greet you when you enter the space. Some are willing to give you deals which are not included in any advertising if they see you as 'friends'. They do not tell you anything if you are new. They do not even mention basic policies like, 'do not talk to the teachers during class'. New students are confused, betrayed & are almost never adjusted or taught correct postures. We were there on a one month promo & to help some friends who go there by being supportive & we were in disbelief as to how DISORGANIZED the place was. No real policies. Being run like a third world country. Not one size fits all, making constant exceptions based on social standing. Communistic, even fascist policies. Gossip & social destruction of persons deemed not acceptable to their almost all female staff.

At up & coming studios, if anyone complains about someone else, the issue is first addressed by the management to the person. The person being accused gets a CHANCE to speak for themselves. Yes, an actual Diplomatic and Democratic process INDEED!
I have never seen such a crazy, disorganized & fascist yoga studio before.
Even having the clocks not fixed when the time is obviously wrong.
Yoga Tree, Yogaworks & any TRUE studios out there will not accept gossip & females backstabbing one another to no end.
How is this yoga?
If the person being accused is not guilty, or even if they are, they are not punished in this fascist way that Stephanie punishes (total ban from practicing there WITHOUT explanation or hearing them out). How yogic is that?
They actually give people the opportunity to change their stance.
They have an exceptional governing process & that is simply why these studios have been so incredibly successful in the market.
Unlike Red dragon.
2. There are no actual excellent yoga teachers at Red Dragon Yoga. Even those teaching for years did not pass the test of actually LISTENING to me when I shared my experience with them.
I mentioned that a long time practitioner can show no signs of being such. In fact, the longer we practice, the more inward we go & therefore the external is not as focused on. In fact, very exceptional Teachers are they themselves Gurus & they tend to take on the group energy so often even show the failings of other students to alert the Teachers of weaknesses within the group which must be addressed.
I have had one of these teachers Anna K. completely ignore me for months then finally act like we have been friends for ever. She has shown that she listens to gossip of others without getting to know them herself.

***CORRECTION: Anna K. Does not go to the front of class to show off. She does it for the wall space she has for her more advanced poses. Karma shows itself.

Ed encourages people to breathe but he himself does not walk the talk.
Teachers are very young & inexperienced, full of themselves, unwilling to accept the most basic criticism such as: Slow down, keep balance-time in sequences, breathe.
I was completely amazed about this because I have been practicing & teaching long enough to know a good teacher & there were none.
3. Not clean, dirty floors, hair all over.
