Jewel Box Cafe

We did not order any food, but had a hot drink to warm up on a cold night. The coffee, a mocha for me, tasted wonderful and the inviting environment topped off the experience.

Daughter and I went for coffee this morning. The crepes are really good. I enjoyed my cappuccino. We loved sitting in the balcony area.

Great little cafe. White Chocolate Mocha was great. Had the Chicken Bacon Melt and Salmon Crepe. Both were delicious.

This place is a hidden gem! Fabulous crepes & tasty coffee!

We always love coming here. It's such a cute little Cafe to stop by and relax in. The employees are always super nice. The crepes are always delicious, and the service is always super quick. We make it a point to stop by every time we go to Point Ruston!

A beautiful and pleasant place. Its decoration is beautiful and the coffee is top quality. Delicious dishes too. Absolutely recommended if you pass through that sector.

I love this place! I stumbled across it on a rainy afternoon in April. I ordered a zebra mocha (coffee with white and dark chocolate). $5.50 for the largest size. The cafe has tons of cute, push, velvet seating and unique booths enclosed with stained glass. I stopped by this month when I was back in Tacoma to share with my husband and son. My son had a banana bubble tea and enjoyed it!

My wife and I love this place for a quick morning date. The food is fantastic and the coffee is very good!
I always get a savory crepe with spicy sausage or chicken bacon. They have great sweet crepes also but I’m just not into sweet breakfast!
Great place to grab a snack before walking Ruston or catching a movie.

The interior of this cafe is stunning! A little hectic but the service was prompt. I ordered the house blend special and it was delicious. The mixed berry crepe tasted good, but there’s nothing phenomenal about it. The cafe has plenty of seatings and the vibe is great. Not the quietest place to get some work done (the upper level seatings are quieter) but a cool place to hang out and get some coffee nonetheless.

I love the atmosphere, the place is charming. I am not a coffee drinker I always get a red bull Italian soda, that is so good. And the crepes are amazing! I love the spiced apple and for something serious I get the Gourmet ham!

Cozy cafe. Lots of interesting places to sit inside and a nice outside area when it’s warmer. It overlooks the water an is located in a newly developed area. There are crepes, sandwiches and salads with lots of specialty coffee. The hot drinks are served in real mugs not paper cups.

I highly recommend this gem of a cafe. The jewel box has a lot of great salad, sandwich, and crepe options. The setting is beautiful and a great place to meet up with friends in the beautiful point Ruston. Their hot spiced chai latte is soul changing, I love to stop in here to pick one up and walk along the waterfront on a chilly day.

Sweet crepes, savory crepes, whatever I’m in the mood for I love jewel box! My personal favorite is the sugar and spice crepe with a side of scrambled eggs (pictures from pre-COVID times, currently more of the dishes are disposable). A hot latte alongside it makes it one of my favorite breakfast or sweet snack stop. Their smoothies (avocado especially…very tasty!) and also fantastic, and the sandwiches I’ve tried from time to time never disappoint. I love the ambiance: very cozy with lots of deep colors and large windows. This is one of my favorite places to study at, or to sit and read (rainy days are a good bonus!). The staff is always friendly, which makes it a great cafe to frequent:)

Went here for the first time a little while ago and I love it. Super chill ambience and I could see myself taking friends here.

Food-wise, the crepes are out of this world! I had the Spicy Sausage one and it was perfect. Surprisingly filling too! I could barely finish the whole thing. My wife got the Smoked Salmon one and the bite I had was stellar.
We tried their lavender lemonade and that was real good too. Will definitely be back here in the future!

What a treasure! I absolutely adore this cafe and the ambiance. It is warm, cozy and upscale. My favorite barista is Chancey (sp?), she is the sweetest, most spunky and amazing drink maker and I always smile when I see her wearing her favorite FRIENDS sweatshirt ;) I especially appreciate how they have the parking validation tablet right on the counter for you to enter in with no fuss, and they even give you a generous 2 free hours of parking! Ruston Point is my favorite place in Tacoma and I always come to this cafe while in town. You should too!

Randomly walked in and saw they had crepes .. ordered the spicy sausage one. Wonderful.....will be back .I also love the way the inside looked as well.
