Booked this experience for my birthday celebration and it was 10/10. Lots of fun choosing our candle scents and we received a lot of help from friendly staff. Joycelyn was great at guiding us through the entire candle making process. I will definitely be back!

Really great place with really great people. It can get loud in the room, but overall, for my first time, I really enjoyed finding my favorite smells to make my own wax melts.

First time making my own candle and we had a great time! I highly recommend visiting Elm Candle Bar if you're interested. Our host was Emma, and she guided me to the perfect smelling candle! Without her, I would've been in a jam.

What a fun and unique experience to be able to customize your own candle... Something fun to do for those date nights or even girls night out. So cool that among my friends everyone created something different. I was kind of all over the map with choosing scents because they all smelled lovely. The staff were great at helping me select scents that would mesh well together. I ended up with something bubbly and fresh. Excited to light mine.

The layout and the process was seamless with the help of staff. The space is vibrant and clean. Parking is plentiful. Love that you can customize for your person. If you can't decide they have already made candles that are just as awesome.

Had a great time with my friend and her little ones! Store is beautiful and the scent baristas(?) are super nice and helpful. It was a ton of fun to smell the different scents and I absolutely love the diffuser I made!
I highly recommend coming here if you enjoy hands on experiences and creating things. Be forewarned that the candles do take 2 hours for the wax to cure, but there are so many shops in the area (even a theater!) that it is very easy to kill time.

We LOVE elm candle bar. My boyfriend and I have been to the capitol hill Seattle location a few times, and to celebrate our anniversary we decided to come to the new Tacoma location. It was just as wonderful and fun as the Seattle location. They even made us a sweet little sign for our anniversary which was very thoughtful of them. Our candle smells wonderful and we will defintely be back next time we are in Tacoma!

Wonderful experience! I can’t wait to go back and make another candle. We had a few people helping our big party and everyone was kind and helpful. One person went above and beyond during the pick up process. I wish I caught her name! The only thing that is a bummer is not having WiFi available for customers to pay for parking. Many people do not get good reception at Point Ruston.

The candles turned out good. Not happy that I had to wait 3 days to pick them up because they cure for two and a half hours when the website says 90 minutes. They do not validate parking unlike every other business in the area. I won’t be returning, I personally was not happy but the experience itself was okay.
