Love this store! I'm not the biggest shopper and when I do it's usually with my wife who feeds me clothes that look good as I stay in the dressing room. Well that's what they do for you here. They style me with great combinations and I walk out with a bunch of put together outfits. The quality of the clothes here are great and all my favorites in my closet came from here. 7 Diamonds, Mizzen and Main, Vuiori, Mavi denim, etc. I highly recommend men to shop here. The vibe is great, I was offered a drink, and always feel welcome. Honestly it's the only place I go to get clothing any more.

I’ve visited on two separate occasions while traveling in the area. The care and service of the owner, as well as Natalie was AMAZING. Not only do they curate stylish and unique outfits they are thoughtful about personal style while introducing new options to broaden your fashion horizons. The one-of-a-kind mix of personal service, dedication and focus on YOU in the moment is a rarity in any environment these days! If you are in the POINT RUSTON area this boutique is a MUST visit!

First off I’d like to say the staff and environment is very welcoming, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I’d like anything to snack on or drink. They have a lovely range of clothing from sizes, styles and fabric choices. I brought my boyfriend here because he never shops for himself and was my treat, both him and I were pleasantly surprised he found tons of clothing of his own and of the lovely ladies choosing. I also appreciated that they weren’t pushy at all with how most boutiques are, they gave professional fashion opinions and knew just by looking at him what would fit correctly and how to style it and the clothing you could tell was tastefully made just for men. I’ll definitely be coming back thank you for making us feel welcome ❤

I have been into the purpose mens store multiple times and the service is always top notch. It’s difficult to find a local store which provides quality brands, good styling, and great service. I will continue to come back for future purchases.

We went in last night to get my husband a new jacket. He hates shopping as he feels nothing looks good on him. Tina was absolutely fantastic! I love this store. They have great selection. We left with a couple of shirts that look amazing on him! If you’re someone who hates picking out clothes to try on, this is the place to go as they help you find things that are going to look good on you.

I walked into Purpose men's clothing store without a specific, well, purpose. However, two of their employees immediately came over to offer water and/or snacks, to converse in a friendly manner, and to find out what clothing I might be interested in. They came across as interested but not pushy. Their demeanor up to this point was enjoyable, but then the unthinkable happened: they continued to be pleasant and engaging. They flitted about like hummingbirds, grabbing clothes that matched my descriptions of what I liked and possibly needed. Then they ushered me into the dressing room and soon after began an impromptu fashion show. Their commentary on the look and fit of the clothes was insightful, and I ended up having fun and buying a decent amount of clothes. I won't say that I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but...ok, I'll say it. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. It was a win all the way around: the store made money, the ladies earned a five star review, and I got some nice new clothes that I needed after losing a good amount of weight. I highly recommend Purpose for any guy who wants to try a little shopping instead of running into JCPenney, grabbing whatever, and running out again.

Amazing staff. My girlfriend and I walked in and Hannah (I think that was her name) was the nicest salesperson I’ve ever encountered at a clothing store. Offered me a sparkling water (liquid death my favorite) knew my size by looking at me, which was impressive. I bought a pair of pants I’ll be coming back.

Phenomenal experience! I was visiting Ruston and found the boutique. The clothing selection was excellent along with the customer service. I bought a very nice 7 Diamonds shirt.

When you come in to this shop to make a purchase, the sales reps will treat you like their best friend, however, if you come in to make an exchange or return because the high-quality and expensive article of clothing you purchased is defective, they will treat you with contempt.

As soon as one of the reps saw that I came in with a Purpose bag they started whispering to each others about me. By the time I came up to the register they had already predetermined they would not receive my item back and had a ready to go explanation despite having the original receipt and tag.

I told the rep that I purchased the Marine Layer tank top a little over a month ago and despite following the care instructions the hemp fabric started to tear right in the middle of the shirt. She said she and her partner also had the same shirt and washed it and theirs did not deteriorate like mine did (which I highly doubt) and that my issue could be that I have a moth in my closet. Right. Out of all the clothes in my closet the shirt that I purchased 1-month ago was the only item in my closet affected by a moth according to their in-house "moth expert". What a joke.

Seriously, if you want to try on clothes here by all means do so, but then do yourself a favor and purchase them directly from the brand directly or Nordstrom where you'll be actually treated with dignity and respect instead of being waved off.

Here is Marine Layer's return policy verbatim: "You can return or exchange pretty much anything for 365 days, no questions asked"

That was the last purchase I'll ever make here.
