Moctezuma's Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar

I had the Asada and chile relleno with beans, rice, and flower tortillas. The steak was delicious. The chile relleno was really good. Bean and rice had a good taste to them. Next time I come, I'm definitely grabbing the flight of Margaritas.
This place is beautiful. They did an amazing job with the Mexican theme.
I would like to come back to the bar and watch a game.

Stepped into the bar for a quick lunch. I had grilled fish tacos from the lunch menu and they were excellent. Service was phenomenal and I was in, out and back at my desk well within my hour lunch break.

Went there for office lunch, waiter was super nice and service was quick (at least for my table). I ordered and food came super quick and tasty, the skirt steak was tender and flavorful, only complaint is that it’s pretty thin, wish it is a little bigger. The free salsa and cheese dip for the chips was super good too.

Booked the private room for company holiday party. Everything was great as usual! We were so happy to have Blanca as our server, she is amazing! So attentive and nice. When we come here just with a couple people for lunch we always hope she is our server. She's the best! All the staff here are amazing! See you all soon!

Drove from Florida, stopping at Mexican restaurants all across the US. The I-5 corridor has easily some of the worst to choose from. This is NOT one of them. This one is up near the top I have tried. A little pricey, and the seats were not very comfortable; however the food more than makes up for that. Top-notch Mexican food, with lots of custom options. Among other things; the house-made hot sauce was amazing.

The food was so good, I decided to get desert. It was pricey, but once again well worth it; a memorable experience. Highly recommend.

We found our Mexican restaurant here in Tacoma!!! Atmosphere is warm and inviting. My husband and I sat at the bar and they have outdoor seating as well. Our bartenders were Alex & Monica (Mon-eek-ka) and they are amazing! Incredible service with a smile. I had the Gran Acapulco Margarita and it was refreshing. My Husband enjoyed his Jalapeño Margarita as well. We both ordered the Carne Asada tacos....best I have had so far. I highly recommend this place!

I brought my mom here for a late lunch/early dinner. It was my mom's first time. She absolutely loved it. The food was delicious as always. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great restaurant, clearly popular. Ww came because a friend said the wrapped jalapenos here are bomb, and he was correct- they are delicious. They’re also a little spicier than normal, which I prefer, but if you don’t, maybe be cautious. Not crazy hot, definitely have some spice.

We also had 2 cheese enchiladas and a birria beef enchilada. Everything was well prepared, expertly cooked, and looked great! That being said, I’m not a fan of the richer, darker enchilada sauces such as the one they use here. To me it’s too much. I’m not subtracting a star because that’s just my personal taste, if you like that type of sauce, try the enchiladas! If you don’t, don’t. Beans and rice were authentic and delicious!

Honestly some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. Very high quality ingredients. Price is on the higher side but they give you plenty of portions (we had leftovers for two days) so it's well worth it. As soon as you come in they have tortillas being made fresh on a griddle. Very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Really happy when we finally tried this restaurant. We always noticed how busy it seemed to be whenever we drove by, so we expected good things and were still surprised at how good it really was. The food was delicious, and there are quite a few unique items that you wouldn't see on most Mexican menus. The service was top notch and atmosphere was quite lively. Definitely going to return to try out the rest of the menu. This would be a great place to treat out of town guests to show off a little gem of Tacoma.

Great Mexican restaurant! They have a nice happy hour from 3-6 and 9-close. The margaritas are great, along with the enchiladas and queso flameado. Would definitely recommend this place and will return.

My husband and I came to eat here on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy and bustling, and we were able to get a seat with no wait time. My pineapple mojito was delicious and we loved the table side queso that they lit on fire and served with tortillas. I ordered the chicken tacos, and fellow spice weenies beware because they were HOT. The pinto beans and rice were full of flavor. My husband loved his pork carnitas plate. The food was delicious with generous portions, the service was quick (shout out to Manuel and Omar for great service) and the ambiance was upscale. I enjoyed our evening and Moctezuma’s and would come again

I haven’t been here in YEARS! I have recently went with my dad and my little family. Drinks were delicious in the past and still are today. Our server was Amy P and she was a delight! I had the pick two meal, I picked one and I had her pick one and it was delicious! Great service, quick serving of food, lots of parking!

I’ve come here more times than I can count and tonight was the best experience I’ve had. We had a really big party but our server (Collin) did amazing. Was very attentive and kind. He didn’t miss a single thing. The food was also delicious and came out super fast. Highly recommend this place to anyone interested in trying it.

Our first time at this restaurant. It was the best Mexican food we have had since moving to Washington. Our server, Oscar, was excellent, will definitely ask for him in the future. Their guacamole is the best tasting I have had. The quality of meat in my tacos was excellent. We brought their churros home for dessert, they were delicious. My husband made his own combo and he raved about his chile relleno. We also tried their corn.

Had an absolutely delicious dinner here with my family. Started with the complimentary chips and salsa (they have the best salsa). We also ordered the Queso Flameado to start, if you've never been I would definitely recommend that. To drink I had the raspberry lemonade which had the perfect amount of tartness. For our mains we got the Birria Tacos, El Molcajete (steak, shrimp, and chicken), and the combination platter. The Birria Tacos and El Molcajete are both family favorites. The Taquito and Taco Dorado on the combination platter are always so crispy. To finish off dinner we had the Flan which was okay and the Mexican Brownie. This was our first time trying the Mexican Brownie and it was so rich and tasty. Moctezuma's has been one of our favorite restaurants for years!

Ok. First time here. Been wanting to try this place for a minute. So glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and super flavorful. The salsa was to die for. I had the molcajete and OMG it was phenomenal. The drinks were awesome too.
However the service was pretty slow. So that was a bummer.

This was my first time to this location and it was fantastic! I have been to the Tukwila location and even though the booth was not as comfortable, I think my food was better here. I usually get the Molcajete and this might be the best version I have had. Everyone in our group loved the food and our service was very good!

When I want to go out for Mexican food that's the place to go!I don't think it gets any better! This time we put our orders in and the waitress collected our menu's the food was there! Welcome to the computer age and instantaneous service with a smile and the best food around!
