Tranquility Dental Wellness

Have been searching for a new dentist for a while now. Was refer to Tranquility by a friend, now I’m telling everyone! From the moment you step into the office, it’s warm and inviting. Love all the extra amenities to make you experience enjoyable. Love the ease of the online forms and appointments. I wish I would have found them sooner but so happy I can call them my dentist now

The staff at Tranquility Dental are very kind and caring. On top of the amazing staff, the atmosphere is very calming. I've never felt so comfortable in a dentist office. I look forward to returning.

This is the most pleasant dentist office I ever have been to in my entire life. They treat me with respect, dignity, compassion, and loyalty. This dentist office is a very warm home setting with a beautiful fireplace, that you can relax before having your dental work done. I will have all my dental work done at this dentist office. I have been going here for probably 2 years now. I have seen a few different dentists but that has never bothered me. I never feel like they are trying to screw me and the menu of relaxation items is actually nice. If you go… use them, and don’t be embarrassed. They don’t mind at all. Everyone is super nice, good at their job, very thorough and great value. Everything you could want in a dentist office.

Review from my first appointment at the Point Ruston location yesterday.
1.) Front door reserved parking is an awesome plus!
2.) Very easy check in and I was offered a drink while I waited. The lady at the front desk was very nice and professional, she walked me to the tranquility room (waiting room) which is gorgeous!
3) The hygienist I saw was Madison. She was very thorough, knowledgeable, and was good at taking a full series of X-rays. After that she handed me the complimentary menu and I picked Aromatherapy and the gel eye mask. Next time I’ll get those again and add the neck roll and the paraffin wax, I had a cut on my finger so I didn’t try it this time. They also had other things on the paper list that’s not listed online like lip balm. She did a really good job on the cleaning, pain free but still thorough.
4) The doctor was really nice and took time to talk to me about all my concerns, wants/needs etc. She talked me though the treatment plan and all my options, there was no pressure to buy anything or do any treatment.
5) At the end they answered all my remaining questions and made my next appointment in 6 months, before walking me to the front to pay and sign the treatment plan on my way out. You can grab another refreshment at this time as well. All said and done I was there for about an hour. There was almost no down time or waiting time for any part of my appointment.
6) The only negative reviews I found about this place was people had surprise fees or charges. I did NOT have that experience at all. We have insurance and all copays were laid out clearly, right from the start. For example at the end she asked me if I wanted fluoride and told me it would be an additional $10 on top of the $44 I’d pay for my exam and X-rays which we had previously discussed. I said yes and when I left my total was $54. No hidden fees whatsoever.

I've been going to Tranquility dental for two years, first in Olympia and now in Tacoma. Both Dr. Song and Dr. Molina-Abenajo are amazing and really took care of me. They explain as they go along. I also like that I can ask for things like a little dab of lavender essential oil so I can relax and be less anxious. Would recommend esp if you're like me and get anxious and don't like going to the dentist.

Beautiful office, very relaxing and therapeutic. The staff here is absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and caring. This is by far the best dental office I have been to, and will remain going to for my continued dental needs.

Dr. James is a pretty cool guy. I felt quite relaxed, even the extremely wonderful lady that works with him (unfortunately I forget her name). Although it didn't happen often because they are very professional, I enjoyed the small talk between the two of them. It took my mind off being at the dentist :) They get along so well, work great together so much that I felt very comfortable.

Michelle at the front is SO knowledgeable, friendly, and quick! I knew I could always rely on her to know all the things, and then some.

They have parking spaces in front of the office. Not always available but I never had an issue the many times I visit the office...except that one time I thought I had an appt but didn't lol

Recently got a teeth cleaning by another wonderful young lady. I also felt at ease with her. She kneeeeeew her stuff, absolutely great.

I have previous trauma from a dentist from 20yrs ago in a different city & company, but everyone is so wonderful here and they made me feel 100% at ease.

The only reason why I cannot keep going here is because I had to move 45mins away. I asked if they would come with me to the new Tranquility office I'll be going to, buuut.... lol. Miss you all, stay wonderful <3

The staff at Tranquility Dental are great! They are friendly people with positive attitudes and do a great job. I never have to wait long to be seen and they work to accommodate my scheduling needs. I am happy I found them.

Love this experience here for the dentist. 🦷 I travel from Seattle because I can never get a timely appt at my old place. Beautiful drive and great office. Excellent staff and customer service too.

From the first phone call to my exit everything was lovely. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and wonderful comforting environment. Our new dental home.

I ALWAYS reccomend Tranquility to anyone who is looking for a quality dentist! I work for a school district and it’s amazing to be able to use my dental insurance to get such high quality dental care along with spa treatments. They’ve helped replace my old fillings, get proper night guards for teeth grinding and have later appointment options so I don’t have to impede my work schedule. The staff are always kind and I love being able to watch Netflix while I get high quality care. Can’t reccomend them enough!

First time having to do my own dental thing since the army... Dr james and staff made my experience super easy. Not gonna say i love going to the dentist, But this was much easier and relaxed than i had imagined. I was able to be seen next day for tooth pain due to a cavity in a wisdom tooth. And set up for removal and antibiotics.I did not have to wait at all.just show up 10-20 min early to fill out insurance/ new patient stuff.

Dental assistant was very gentle and thoroughly cleaned the plaque on my teeth. The Dentist is excellent greatly cares service is impeccable thank you

The most amazing staff with a luxurious experience all covered by insurance. Surprised that’s it’s not booked out for months. Best dentist in Greater Seattle not just Tacoma.

The receptions are friendly and welcoming in-person and over the phone. The dental hygienists that have assisted with my care have been knowledgeable and kind. The dentist who has been working with me, Dr. James, is great. He really seems to care. He listens to my concerns, explains his plans in detail, and is extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend this crew for your dental needs.

I have been going to tranquility dental at point Ruston for quite a few years and up until today my care has been standard with of course the added bonus of the tranquility comfort menu perks. The comfort menu is absolutely necessary for those who loathe the dentist. I have been one of those people for many years. Today exceeded my expectations due to the great care I received.

What made today so good was the gentle and kind Madison as my dental hygienist. She made small adjustments like changing water temp and positioning tools to accommodate a comfortable experience. To add, she was very thorough with my cleaning while simultaneously training another helper in the office. I was very impressed with her calm nature and the flow of her work. The dentist with her today (Dr. C?) was also incredibly friendly and attentive. I appreciated the time they both spent with me. It is easy to rush people though appointments but neither of them made me feel rushed or unimportant. I was very impressed with my experience and hope that more people can experience this exceptional dental care.

Once again these guys were awesome. Had a couple fillings done and a crown. These guys made it almost painless, stress free, and thats hard to do for someone who used to have a fear of dentistry.

I love that there is plenty of parking in front - the staff is super friendly and nice - the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable - the check in process was quick & their waiting room is called the tranquility room (nice) - they offer you a beverage while waiting (the wait time was less than 5min) - everyone is very professional

I love Tranquility! This is a luxury dental experience. The team is amazing, they treat you like royalty, and they do a great job. I didn’t think this was possible, but the Tranquillity team makes going to the dentist a great experience.
