We went there rather a bit late at around 8 which is close to their closing time but it was pretty crowded to tell that it’s a popular place to dine.
The staff is very warm and friendly. We ordered a pizza and a pasta with 2 drinks, they all tasted fantastic! Have been trying some Italian foods since I moved here and this amazed me. Love the flavor of the sauce and the texture of the pasta, very flavorful. The pizza dough is nice yet maybe they made it in a quick way so the toppings are not spread well, and the edge is a bit burnt while the bottom is a bit soft.
The Lavender drink does not taste soapy and rather light with a nice scent, very recommend.
On the other hand sangria is a bit strong.
Would ♥ to visit here again!

Rodrigo was our server. He was absolutely fantastic! His attention to detail and promptness made our group dining experience very pleasant.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Palo Alto. Not only is the food delicious, but the owners and team who work there are so lovely. We’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu. The specials are great to try and the cocktails are really fun. The eggplant pompetti is a must try! I also recommend anything that comes with Burrata. We started with the crispy peppers with cheese and rosemary flatbread. We then tried the Bufala pizza with prosciutto and arugula, Margarita pizza, the Terun pizza, the seafood risotto and the Rigatoni Ragu. I didn’t get photos, but the steak frites and Brussel Sprouts were also delicious. If you want dessert, you canMt go wrong with the Tiramisu, Panacotta or the ice cream with sea salt and an olive oil. Terun gets our highest recommendation!

I recently dined at Terún and had a mixed experience. The Gnocchi was the standout dish, undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. However, the porcini dish was a letdown; it had a strong chemical smell that was off-putting. On the upside, the Tricoloure pizza, a veggie option, was excellent. My only disappointment was the lack of chicken options on the menu. The ambience was truly delightful, but overall, I'm not inclined to visit Terún again anytime soon.

Recommended by several of my Italian co-workers. Their food is seriously as if I ate in Italy. One of them even said wow, this is like my mom's cooking. Anyway, definitely get the starter (ANTIPASTO DELLO CHEF). Pizza is prepared as if we got it in Italy and the tiramisu! Very creamy. I wish I lived closer so that I can get this for my birthday dessert to share. Worth every penny.

It was a Friday evening, around 5:30PM-ish. We didn't make any reservation, but we were given a seat at their back patio with the understanding that we needed to finish our dinner by 7PM, we were OK with it, since we didn't plan to stay long anyway. The seat at their back patio turned up to be better than the one indoor. There were many propane heater, lights decoration all around the patio, quite romantic and cozy in its own way. Nice.!!

We ordered a Calamarata seafood pasta and a San Danielle pizza, they were very good. For dessert, we ordered a bread pudding and chocolate chips, and a cappuccino coffee to go with it. The dessert is very good as well.

It is worth coming back again, highly recommend to those who like Italian food.

Update on Aug 13, 2023:
We went for the second time, it was a lunch time instead. We still recommend the restaurant to everyone. This time, we ordered their Gnocchi and Margherita Pizza. My wife said the Gnocchi is one of the best she ever tasted. The pizza ingredient looks simple but very delicious. Love it.!!

All the food is simply fantastic and delicious. I didn’t know this place for a long is a shame! You cannot regret to get here! I wanna try another menu for next time.

Don’t miss out! Worth the trip and you won’t be disappointed. Quality ingredients, Attentive and Amazing staff members. Small attention to details with Italian love. Get there early and enjoy a wonderful cocktail. Food comes out quick and portions are plentiful. Will return anytime I am in the area.

Delicious food, very consistent high quality. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are high, but this is Palo Alto.

Dined inside on a weekday evening. Great food and service, restaurant was packed but we can still hear each other, didn't feel crowded. Special dishes worth ordering : the sea bass was rich and creamy, the ravioli was heavenly, the purple gnucchi was excellent and filling with just the right balance of ingredients, and the pizza prosciutto was *loaded* with prosciutto and cheese. My friends said the soup was also amazing but I didn't taste personally. I'll also add that the wine list is definitely reasonably priced, and there are plenty of bottle options under $60.
Unfortunately by the end we didn't have any room for desserts so we'll need to go back!

The food was delicious, and the service was also really great. Definitely try the beet gnocchi!

I’m writing this review while still sitting at the bar because I usually forget to review but definitely needed to for this place. The food, service (thanks Rodrigo!), and vibe were fantastic. We will definitely stop again in the next time we’re up this way.

Pizza was heavenly!!! Beetroot Gnocchi was very soft and tasty, the sauce was delectable. Vanilla gelato was very creamy and delicious. We sat in the back patio, it was nice and warm with some string lights on the wall, the tables were not that great, some were nice granite ones but some were poor quality wobbly ones like the one we were on unfortunately.

Quick service, good wine, amazing food and location. Maybe sometimes you'll need reservations to sit inside.

We ordered red sangria and red wine, two pizzas (Bufala pizza and sciacchiata). I would love more fruity and not so dry sangria but what they had was also really good. A little bit dry, cranberry and citric red wine sangria is what they had.

Overall, it was really good food and wine.

Fantastic, authentic Italian. Great Neapolitan-style pizzas, great pasta. Service is usually good, but sometimes can be inattentive. We once had horrible risotto, so awful it had to be sent back, but even then, the restaurant did their very best to make us happy.

Love this restaurant! We had the appetizer sampler which gave us a wonderful taste of the restaurant. Followed by excellent pizza. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere and food. Looking forward to returning soon.

Brunch with old friends at Terún today. The staff was very welcoming and explained the menu. We had the antipasto and three pizzas with beers and wine for a party of five and a puppy. They have a good selection of beers and wine. We had the Menabrea on draft and the Hop Nosh IPA. I loved the lazy Sunday feeling sitting on a sidewalk table chatting with old friends over good food and alcohol. The food was fresh with authentic Italian flavor. Everything was perfect. Great job the staff at Terún! They even gave a little doggy dish of water for the puppy. How about that?!

Upscale but relaxed Italian fare and small plates venue offering a variety of delicious pastas, plates, pizzas, and hand crafted cocktails. Service is excellent, seating is abundant both indoor and outdoor, and the food is amazing.

We especially enjoyed the food and cocktails here. Starting with the drinks, they offer sangria and hand crafted cocktails. The margarita here has an intalian twist but comes highly recommended! The Sangria they had on offer was amazing!

All of the food here is excellent as well. If you enjoy pizza, they have a wood fired oven and the pizza is cooked to perfection. We tried the pear and Gorgonzola pizza. It was a perfect blend of sweetness and tartness. Also, the Ravioli here has slow cooker short ribs inside, and it is absolutely to die for!

I recommend this place for those looking to have a few small plates and cocktails over conversation. It’s Italian themed but don’t think just pasta here. It’s light, tasty, and fast! 10/10 for this one!

This is a fantastic restaurant with indoor and outdoor sitting. Ambience is great, they have heaters outdoors. Food and drinks are fantastic. Loved their Sangria and Martini. Focaccia appetizer is different from expected and melts in the mouth. Best dish of the day. Tricolor pizza was amazing with tons of Burrata on it. Rigatoni pasta was okay. Sauce tasted great but there’s nothing you could do much with a pasta with red sauce. Bread pudding was lightly sweetened which was ideal to my taste. Servers were friendly and even guarded our stuff when we stepped out for few mins. This complex has open and a garage parking next to a restaurant. Overall a very vibrant place where I would love to go again!
