I have been a customer of Say Ray for many years, when Ray took good care of our Volvo. Now with an aging Lexus, I feel confident I am continuing to get fully qualified service.

Everything about our experience with the latest servicing of our Volvo by Say Ray was excellent -- as it always has been.

"Clearly the best Volvo mechanic west of Sweden." That is what i was told before i ever went to Say Ray, by another European car mechanic in Mountain View. I have never been disappointed. Honesty, fair prices and professionalism always. I'm on my third Volvo since i found Say Ray because i don't want to find another mechanic. It's hard to find perfection twice. These guys are the best!

You can't find a better place on the Peninsula to take your Volvo. Much like you want the best General Practitioner to see your children, we have always preferred sending our Volvo(s) to Say Ray. They are amazing in their work, honest, and up-front. I have never been hassled or let down, and even though we live in Washington State, I am sure that we will be driving through Palo Alto to be sure that our cars have their annuals done by Say Ray. Look No Further.

As long as I can remember Say Ray has been the GO TO place for Volvo owners out of warranty. In my last in warranty check up on my '06 S60-R the dealer found about $7500 in "wear items" that needed immediate service for safety. I got a second opinion from Peter at Say Ray and three years later, most have been taken care of as necessary for about half that. And the car handles like new. Struts on an R are critical. They were still safe but not tight when I finally replaced them.

There is so much to be said about finding an auto repair place that actually is trustworthy.... this is a place that is truly Trustworthy.
They have been in the Volvo business for decades and now that they have expanded to Toyota and Lexus, all the better.

Again I received first class service, with a ride back home during which we could discuss the fine points of my concerns about my 1998 Volvo that I have had sine 1997. Say Ray's reception and mechanics are always up on the issues I bring to them about my Volvos over the years.

I've used Say Ray since 1989 to service my four Volvos. They're at least at good as any dealer I've dealt with - and often better. One of the dealers I occasionally use wasn't able to do a particular test because they didn't have a tool that Say Ray does. The people at Say Ray know me and my Volvos and what my priorities are. They tell me about things to watch for the future and don't automatically assume that every defect needs to be fixed / replaced.

I continue to buy Volvos because Say Ray is a superb shop that specializes in Volvos. I am always pleased with the honesty and professionalism. Peter is very helpful with questions unrelated to cars brought to him. This shop is a gem. I hope they stay in business forever!

I've been going to Say Ray since 1990, and tried other mechanics in Palo Alto too. I've never found more honest and competent mechanics anywhere. They will not do a job without discussing the upsides and downsides first--great at explaining things. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my Volvo or Prius.

Say Ray completely exceeded my expectations for Volvo service. They told me exactly what to do to solve my Check Engine Light problem, and made sure I didn't spend any extra money on unnecessary repairs.

Hey Say Ray services Toyota and Lexus in addition to Volvo. I have been taking all of my cars to Say Ray for over 30 years. I started with my 1982 Volvo DL I bought for $1. Now they provide service for our Toyota's.

Say Ray is one of the best shops in the area, the only thing is they only work on Volvo's. So if you have a Volvo, you better take it to say Ray best Volvo mechanics in town!
