Great place to visit with kids. Various science demos, great light show and a playground for little ones.

Places like these makes Bay Area worth it.

TIP: buy the membership if you have young kids, you would want to visit again plus the membership gives you discounts on a lot of other museums

Great place to visit with kids. They get to learn about various things about science and animals. Spent 2-3 hours in there and kid’s happy! Get a membership for year-round free visits and free parking.

They were closed by the time e arrived... But just even taking a quick stroll through the trails near entrance over looking the shiny water & watching multiple Airliners touch down onto the tarmac at SFO airport simultaneously two at a time is in it's self relaxation therapy.

After we were able to walk down the not so steep hill and check out the boats docked.
Very very clean area, from the maintenance to the consideration of visitors not leaving their trash around makes it a perfect secluded park with trails most anyone will be able to manage (even my Mom with her walker was able to enjoy it).

Plenty of parking $6 , spacious enough for strolling at your desired pace w/o having to pull over so the other people could pass by.

My suggestion, if you've got guests visiting from out of town this little place will give them memorable views & if you walk left from the main entrance of "Cur-od" on the trail at the top you will have the Very Best photo op (180 back drop).

Enjoy the View*
Take in the fresh air*
Leave your foot prints on the trails*

Very cool and compact place for running around and explore some science and wildlife.
We enjoyed our visit and learn a lot.
They show us how they feed animals and what they eat. Also, they show us some snake skin, owl feathers and etc.
It was fun.
About the fee: we just paid for the parking: $6.25
The ticket was free for us since we have a membership for Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh PA.
If you have any science center membership, it might be free for you as well.

If you’re looking for an unusual place to throw a wedding or other party, you could do a lot worse. You don’t interact with the science exhibits for an event, but the location and building are great.

I have been going to the little zoo since I was a kid. This place has only been getting since then, we love it!! The animals are well taken care of, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the little park is a perfect place to linger.

Great experience and learning curves for little kids. Our 2 year old baby loves the animal exhibitions, especially the otter exhibit. The light exhibition is also very pretty.

This was our first time here. It is similar to the Discovery Museum but adds the lights exhibit and the little zoo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this children's museum which btw is in an awesome location.
This museum is a combination of a small zoo, interactive science exhibits and a playground. So it's not huge, but it's nice it has something for everyone.

Pro Tip:
- check out the schedule of the animal feedings to plan your visit as the animals are more active and you get to learn a lot about them from the staff.
- this museum is part of the ASTC network. Im not sure if we would've came if we had to pay for the admission but since we had reciprocal membership, it was worth it!

Great for science interested kids and for adult amusement. Winter Light show was fantastic and loads of fun with small ones. Animals also a big hit, trying to attract the Bob cats as they prowled around and the otter looked very pleased to see us displaying it's underwater skills. Afterwards had a picnic by the side watching the inbound planes at sfo. Cool place to be.

Alot of cool things for kids to do inside and outside. A good place for rainy days and sunny days. Educational, some hands on things for kids, exhibits, and cute animals to see with stories to them, and another huge park close by and a beach for fishing a camp site for camping trips and boats for going out fishing. This place and the area around it is very cool. Totally worth it.

Had a birthday party here -- oh my goodness was it a delight! All the kiddos had a complete blast. Make sure you bring in your own water (the classroom we rented did not have a sink but we knew that ahead of time). No balloons, no pinatas, no glitter, no confetti. In other words, minimal, easy peasy birthday party set-up and all you really need to plan is when to eat cake/cupcakes. They have a little sign at the entrance to the classroom area wishing your kid a happy birthday and telling everyone to make sure they go to the front desk to get their wristbands before joining the party. We brought face paints and temporary/sticker tattoos. The kids loved getting their faces painted like their favorite animal and the temporary tattoos (also a huge hit) included Frozen, Paw Patrol, zoo animals, unicorns and rainbows. :) All the entertainment is right there for all to enjoy -- some of the adults stayed back in the classroom to talk while others took the kids all around. Highly recommend. Pro tip: make sure everyone prints out the parking passes at home and puts them in their car BEFORE they enter the parking lot. Lovely, low-stress high value birthday party spot! Staff was incredibly helpful, happy, excited for our little's birthday. Wonderful day all around!

Great fun for all ages. Interactive exhibits and a mini zoo. If you have a zoo membership you can get 50% off. Their animals include birds, reptiles, a wolf, 2 bobcast, 3 or 4 raccoons, a porcupine and a river otter. They also have their own magical bridge playground. After we leave we always hang out in the back to watch the planes come in. It's a great view of Sf and Oakland on a clear day.

Wish I would’ve taken pictures, but it was so much fun!

A place that is GREAT for toddler aged and on children. The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean and there is so much to do!

I think ages 2+ would enjoy the different activities like interactive play and the petting zoo and there is a beautiful view.

I have lived in San Mateo county since 1989 and I finally made time to visit the CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point. The small zoo is cute and is essentially a rehabilitation center for injured animals. We thought the lone otter exhibit was the most fun because the otter loved our attention. The avairy was closed due to the bird flu pandemic. The CuriOdyssey should charge 1/2 admission since the avairy is a big part of the zoo. I also enjoyed the light room located the Redwood area of the science center. If you have a chance, I recommend a visit.

CuriOdyssey is a super fun children's museum. The facility is pretty good sized with many different types of hands-on activities to do, interesting animals at the zoo, and great views of the San Francisco Bay. The only thing I wish it had more of is translated information (e.g. in Spanish) like many other museums. Overall, I highly recommend it to other families with children.
