Walkable from the Millbrae BART station, very classic feeling breakfast diner. Servings were generous and food was so tasty! Service so efficient and servers very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the Pigs in a Blanket

Always a good time at my favorite breakfast spot. Had to get a hot chocolate because it was cold outside when my boo and I were waiting for our turn. Heads up: Make sure to come early on weekends because it’s always packed and busy (Sundays in particular because a lot of families leave morning mass at St. Dunstan Church and head here after). The food is always so so good and the service is great too. Make sure to bring your appetite!

This place always makes breakfast feel special. Despite a typical 20-minute wait for a table for two on Sunday mornings, which isn't too bad, the food is consistently excellent, and the service is very friendly. A true local gem.

MPH is always a great breakfast spot to take your family. Seating and service are quick. They have a nice table turnaround, and they added more seating outside. My favorite is the Bangers and eggs with Swedish pancakes. Update - service was awesome, and the county fried steak and veggie omelet were delicious.

Very busy place for breakfast. Feels good being in this restaurant. The service is friendly and they don’t rush you. People seemed very happy having their breakfast choices. The Pecan Waffle was good and I enjoyed it. Perhaps it was a little on the dry side for my taste. The crepe with strawberry was tasty too as were the egg dishes. Coffee was good too. Yup…. Over all a good experience. Give this place a shot….

Ten years ago, I first visited Millbrae Pancake House and since then, I have returned numerous times. It has become my top recommendation for a delicious brunch spot. The food is scrumptious and the serving size is ample, especially since they provide two generous-sized pancakes on the side of your order. I find the service to be prompt and efficient.

Previously, I never favored pancakes and preferred waffles instead, but Millbrae Pancake House has converted me. I love to order their omelets with a side of pancakes. Usually, I am only able to consume one pancake and I save the other for a snack or breakfast the following day. In my experience, everyone in my circle of friends has enjoyed their meal at Millbrae Pancake House.

A local institution that’s been around forever for good reason. Awesome selection of pancakes. Reasonable prices, fast/ courteous service, and legit ski lodge decor with a old school Bay Area vibe.

There will be a line and wait anytime after 9am, but just put your name down and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how quick it moves.

Clean, enjoyable, friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Can see why this place has been around for sooooo long. They are keen to please, can accomodate singles, or big groups. Something for everyone from picky eaters to dietary restrictions. Very busy weekend mornings and parking limited.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is great with a down home feeling. I love how there's a opening to see the cooks prepare the food. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. I ordered a supreme omelet which I will now call the gut buster and it was very good. The hash browns are seasoned very well and the portions are very generous. I had the option of going to another pancake House which I won't say the name but I chose to come here for the uniqueness and the experience. It's definitely worth the trip and on a main road with ample public transportation.

We normally do take out, but I've eaten here once. The wait was roughly 30 min on a Saturday morning. Service is friendly and the food comes fairly fast. The atmosphere is homey but loud. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles and any of the pancakes. Return your check to the counter instead of to the waiter/waitress.

Update Aug 2023: I added a new photo. The eggery with hash brown and meat (fried chicken in my case) are solid!

This place is a solid traditional, diner-style vibe brunch place. The flavor or technique is not spectacular, but what else do you need on Sunday morning other than simple pancakes, or maybe chicken and waffle? Be warned that the portion here is big so order wisely lol.

VERY tasty pancakes! I had buckwheat pancakes, which are definitely good, but also very dry! I like buckwheat pancakes, and I knew what to expect, but the consistency was crumbly. The banana pancakes were tasty and exactly what you'd expect of buttermilk pancakes.

The eggs were done perfectly to order (over medium for me), and the biscuits were decent, though not super memorable.

I will say, in complete honesty, their gravy is just not good. It's thin, runny, and doesn't have any real meat to it. It had some that looked like it was added to the gravy and had a weird consistency. It definitely wasn't made from scratch from the fond of frying sausage or anything like that. It was the most disappointing part of the experience.

Though I have zero qualms about going back (in fact, I look forward to it), and enjoy the good and friendly service, I won't be going back for the biscuits and gravy, but for the tasty pancakes.

Been coming here since I was a kid. 50+ years later, still solid. Nice to have a spot for some good food.

One of my favorite places by the airport and in the millbrae area for brunch. No frills and thrills BUT that is the best part. I am gluten free due to health reasons and they have an awesome buckwheat pancake. Every single dish is delicious here, good portions and affordable. Service is good and you don’t wait too long even if there is a wait time.

Godly delicious pancakes!! The Swedish pancakes are so fricking good served with Lingonberry and butter. All dishes are so well made here.

If my cousin had a choice, she would choose to come here everyday for breakfast as there’s a broad variety of pancakes.

It's very rare that I get mad at myself during vacation but this is one of those occasions. Just had the best breakfast here that I've had my entire time here. Wish I had discovered this place sooner. Would've had breakfast here every morning. The service was fast and friendly. Great little place. Come here if your staying at any of the hotels around SFO. Very reasonably priced (Cheapest meal I've had while here) and it's absolutely delicious. As close to home made as your going to get. I had the mushroom omelette with pancakes. The omelette was full of mushrooms and cheesy goodness and the pancakes were light and fluffy.

I rarely use this word for reviews...but I really believe this place deserves an Excellent review. From the host to the server plus the prices are still very reasonable...I loved all of it.
Tip your server well especially if they're good. They're getting harder to find these days.

What a great spot! I've visited Millbrae multiple times after air travel through SFO and have always seen this place super busy. Until now, we've opted to go somewhere else because it seemed so packed at all times.

Took a chance today, on Christmas Eve, and braved the line. One thing I can say for sure is that the service is excellent and efficient. We were seated almost immediately, given time to order, then received the food all within 20 minutes of walking through the door! A fantastic surprise.

Food was also great. Pancakes were tasty. Ordered the standard #1 special/combo, so unfortunately didn't try anything extra fancy this time. The atmosphere is homey, warm, and inviting.

Will definitely be visiting here again in the future.
