I went here for top surgery and had an amazing experience, everything went right on schedule for me and the staff were incredibly kind. Everyone was very respectful of my gender identity and reassuring throughout the entire process. My anesthesiologist was very friendly, and I felt that he really listened to my concerns (I have had previous complications with anesthesia). When I was waking up from anesthesia, one of the recovery room nurses even made me iced tea because I couldn't have cranberry juice and didn't want anything hot (and it was delicious!). I was paying out of pocket and was honestly shocked at how reasonable the fees for my OR time were, and that they included all of my drains, dressings, anesthesia, and drugs. I did have some trouble reaching the finance department to pay my fees in advance, but that was also during the holiday season when people were on vacation.

I was here back in Sep 2022, I was on vacation and had a medical emergency. This was the closest place to us. When we arrived everyone was so helpful with trying to make me comfortable as I was in a lot of pain. As I was out of town everything felt even more chaotic than it needed to be since we were somewhere unfamiliar. I was treated with respect and care. Wonderful experience in a unfortunate situation.

wanted to put in my experience because the low ratings scared me at first. had surgery here and both nurses and doctors were very kind and took time to let me know what to expect.

I'm happy with the experience from the ER today with my daughter as peds patient they're quick with everything in , started IV , blood & fluids . Seen by Dr Yu & nurse Kristen they're both kind & efficient. They give her a dose of antibiotics , updated with labs & given prescriptions/ instructions.We got in around 2 am & out by 5 am . I'm happy with how quick everything is . The only I wish is for them to put a sign at least where the entrance is despite it's being temporary due to construction. I think a lot of patients would appreciate it.

I had a cardiac arrest and was rushed here. They handled my issue professionally and methodically. I would like to thank Dr. Boucher and his team, the cath lab team of Eddie and Jennifer, who have taken care of me while on the table. Also the very effcient ICU team, the Icu nurses who tirelessly monitoring me, the doctors who explained to me whats going on.. it was a pleasant experience, from start till discharge. Thank you Seton Team for my new lease of life, more power to you all.

Nurse Will is amazing with the IV. All the nurses, medical staff and ER doctor Dave were excellent. Facility looks a little run down and they are retofitting the building for earthquakes, but the staff was excellent despite being so busy.

Underated hospital but I got the best treatment here. You may never agree with me but this is how I feel and received from them. Hospitals now a days are full and try to consider they’re under staff due to pandemic but I appreciate all their efforts doing their best they can to attend to our medical needs. Starting from the ER nurses (Ivan, Shannon, Jessica)and doctors then I was admitted to a medical room. Nurses and staffs from the 10th floor medical room who are so respectful and caring special mention is nurse Annabel for being helpful and she cheered me up always. To the young, respectful nurses Mary and Sherna. Maricar, Edith, Agnes and Christian ( who wheeled me down to MRI section with his beautiful stories) thank you all. GI specialist Dr. Tsukiyose thanks for your expertise. Kudos to all of you for the awesome medical service given to me. I’ll never forget this hard but sweet experience I had with you. I’ve accompanied my ex husband on several emergency runs and it has always been tedious and messy (he frequents the VA in Oakland) so I do my best to avoid going for anything for myself and try and power thru… I slipped and fell on a hike and I just couldn’t deal with the pain anymore so I went in tonight and I barely had to wait to be seen. The attendee(?) Deborah Bergman was thorough and the nurses Will and Nikki were amazing. I won’t be scared or intimidated about going to the ER ever again because the experience tonight was so smooth and easy.

I came in through the ER. once I got to the hospital the staff was nice. in my situation a lot of the nurses really actually went out of their way to try to help me. they were supportive and helpful at all times. checking in, making sure I was good and had everything I needed. overall I have to say I got had a great team in my visit.

I have received great service from Seton Medical Center - treated with kindness and respect from doctors and nursing staff. After two recent stays--the emergency room staff, doctors, and nursing staff deserve kudos for the pleasant demeanor and efficient skills. The staff goes beyond expectations in regard to caring for you.

I was given immediate attention and the procedure went exceptionally well. I stayed overnight in the ICU unit; my visit was for about 18 hours total. The ICU staff was as caring and light hearted as one could hope for in any medical situation. Compared to past hospital stays I've experienced this one was the most enjoyable.

I had a medical procedure at Seton Medical Center on 4/29/2021 and had a pleasure of having Dr. Stephen Abedon perform the procedure. He was very professional, very meticulous, gentle and proficient. Dr. Abedon gave instructions in a very calm manner. I did not even notice that the procedure was over until he said it was done. Nurses Debbie, Liz and the male radiology technician were all wonderful the whole time I was under their care. Nurse Elvie F. was very nice and caring when she was assisting me at the recovery room (PACU). She even made a follow up call the day after the procedure to check how I was doing. Thank you so much everyone for your compassionate care.

Dr Douglas Rittenhouse and his staff were amazing! They were all very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. I came in for a surgery to remove my left ovary and I was very scared, but the nurses were all so friendly, nice and hilarious that they made me forget all about it. I highly recommend this doctor he's very talented and professional

I was admitted to Seton Medical Center in Daly City, CA in August of 2014 and I can't began to to explain the level of great service that I received from the staff on the 6th floor for heart observation. I was there for 3 days and received excellent service around the clock. I want to thank all of you because l know that it takes a team of individuals to come together to make this happen. Everyone performed efficiently, effectively, and professionally. Thanks again to all of you. You really made things easy and comfortable for me.

I was in Seton for three months - Cancer treatment. They saved my life and all the staff and doctors were wonderful.

We were travelling from Australia when my 70 year old Dad needed to go to the ER. From the moment we arrived the service, care and concern shown by every staff member we met was excellent. Thank you to Paige, Brian, Thelma and Dr Queen. ⭐ Aussies 🇦🇺

I want everyone to know my experience as of February 2017 with Seton Medical Center was STELLAR!!! I had 2 extensive spine surgeries ( by Dr Goldthwaite and his team that are so EXCELLENT& CARING THAT WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR THEIR CARE!!) I have EXTREMELY high standards as a worked as an R.N. I want to thank all that were part of my care!!!!!I want to assure anyone that may have concerns as I did when I saw the ratings. I sure hope this helps ease any fears as I thank GOD I chose Senton and Dr Goldthwaite!!!

I was hospitalized in this hospital for four days and I got the best service. I like my attending physician, Dr. Gupta. All the nurses were great, with special mention to Jerome, Alice, and Jen, among others. They were very attentive. Thank you very much for taking good care of me

I had a L5-S1 fusion with hardware by Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Shofferman from "SPINE CARE" in the late '90's. Awesome Doctors and Seton nurses did a great job, especially since they had to put up with me because I developed a tiny fever that prevented them from competing the "360" surgery, which added 1 week to recovery.
The nurses were so nice, friendly, and Doc. Reynolds was spot on.
Counting on him to be spot on again at the end of this month to reconstruct/revision a botched surgery from a local (Redding) Dr.
