Called about flat tire quoted $20 and 10 minutes. Brought tire in pointed out screw plugged it. Checked tire found additional hole fixed that and was on the road in less than 10 minutes for the original quote. Excellent work.

This place is so great! Super timely service, great prices and very knowledgeable technicians. I have a Mini Cooper and they can always get the parts for it. I highly recommend them!

Quick and efficient guys! Brought the car here a few weeks ago because of a coolant leak. One of the guys took a look under the hood immediately after we drove onto the lot, identified the issue and gave a price estimate. The fix required ordering some parts but we were instructed to bring the car back the next morning and that’s that! The car was ready by afternoon.

As some reviews have already mentioned, there is occasionally a bit of a language barrier with some of the employees, but the service is good regardless! Their work can seem a bit hectic but everyone’s always super helpful and nice to talk to. What you may lack in perfect communication, they make up for with excellent work.

I live in Los Gatos and I have been taking my cars to them for several years. They are the best. They have fixed all kinds of problems with our cars, from transmissions to leaky hoses. I have never had a bad experience. Not only are they great mechanics, but they are honest and charge reasonable rates.

Language can be a challenge, and the operation SEEMS super chaotic and disorderly, but there service and the pricing were great and fair. Recommended!

I can only agree with all of the previous 5 star ratings on LGA.
They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and they also go the extra mile on fixing your problems.
They repaired a tyer on my log-splitter, (30 mins) and didn't charge me. When I said, "I'm happy to pay," the mechanic just smiled and said, "It's okay, you'll come back some day!"
Well, I did come back a few times now, and they always fix my mechanical problems. These guys are amazing, and a rare find in the world of mechanical ripoffs. Highly recommended.

Hard to find a reliable place that you can trust but los Gatos auto care has always come through and I have never had a bad experience. Have brought my Audi here a couple times the past year and my family has used them in the past as well. Has always been a good experience. They have taken my car in multiple times on short notice and fixed the issues quickly. They are fair with pricing and dont charge for extra things. I would definitely recommend this place

This is my go to auto place. Everyone there is very honest and does a great job. They’ve saved me a ton of money by not having to go to the dealership. I love this place and have taken my car in for everything (oil, brakes, etc). Highly recommend. They’re fast too.

The owner fixed my AC system for under $300 after 4 other mechanics were unable to do so and told me they'd just have to replace the whole system for $1200. I will definitely come back! Highly recommended.

This guy is amazing. He wants to help you instead of just to get money from you. He was so patient, explaining to me why I don’t need the rack change service I asked for, Under 100F afternoon sun! Who does that nowadays? He even repeated a few times explaining how the current system would meet my need. Under the extreme heat wave today! My respect to this guy! I definitely will come back for any service in the future!

This place is great! Nice people, fair prices, and high quality work. I've come here multiple times and received repairs for a much lower price than the quotes from other, slicker places. I also really enjoy the vibe. Los Gatos can sometimes be a place that is fake or superficial, this place is real.

Hopefully, this gem of an auto repair & maintenance shop won't be overwhelmed...and spoiled by more folks patronizing him when you find out what I know! Phong is talented, fair, very competitively priced and quick!
Don't waste your time if you're seeking long explanations, chi-chat and lots of fancy interiors. An man of few words, accurate answers and resolutions, Phong's your guy for quality, price and results.

These are some of the most kind and talented mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. We were on a trip to visit our daughter in Santa Cruz when we had a car engine issue. They so kindly went out of their way to get us back on the road. I am forever grateful!

I have been going to Los Gatos Auto care for the last two years. I stopped by on a whim because I just received and estimate to fix a rack and pinion problem. I was thinking of getting rid of my van until I asked the owner "how much". His quote was less than half what I was quoted. The van was ready the next day. Now I don't even ask for a quote because they only fix what is necessary and at a fair price. Lately Phil has been working on my van and he just saved my butt again. Rats got to some wires and he was able to find the problem and fix it while I waited. This is the place you want to go.

Amazing service! They helped me replace a broken valve stem on my tire to get me back on the road. Phuong is really helpful and a master at his craft.

I have been taking my Volvo and BMW to Pheung and Phil for over 10 years, and highly recommend them. There are several specific advantages:
1) They are very honest and only do the repairs you need. They have my complete trust, and have turned down opportunities for me to have work done.
2) They allow you to bring your own parts if you wish - a huge difference that can save you a fortune. For example, a failed compressor for a Volvo. A "remanufactured" Volvo one from Volvo costs $800 and they charge $600 to install. I found the actual manufacturer in Sweden via google sells it as an OEM for $400 with shipping and Phil installed it for $300. So better answer and cost less. This is the perfect place if you like to buy the best aftermarket parts from Siemens, Bosch (etc) that are the sources of the actual parts the car companies use - just without the sticker. A Camshaft Position Sensor from Bosch. $43. From BMW - $100. It saves your thousands over the year.
3) The key: Be the first one there in the morning on a Saturday. Drop off the car. Go to the Apple store or for a coffee etc, and come back 2 hours later, and you're car is usually done.

I've seen every car type you can imagine here. It's interesting that the owners always look like they can afford to go to the dealer, but go here because of the outstanding value.

4) Pheong (Fong) and Phil are the nicest guys you'll ever meet. How many mechanics do you know that get a holiday card. They get one from me.
