Sonesta Simply Suites Des Moines

Our flight in was delayed so we got in pretty late and we were pretty tired, lady at the desk was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. The location is a good spot, close to everything, Room was more than we expected, very clean, quiet and stocked with essentials, bed was comfortable.We will be staying here again.

A beautiful area.. Staff is very polite.. You have a spacious kitchen and nice size bathroom. Has everything you need. It has elevators. I'm very happy about that.. It is expensive to stay here.. I think it should have a DirecTV or Dish.. Only has 20 channels..Overall a Great place to stay!

Pretty much have lived at the Sonesta in West Des Moines for the past 2 years. Love the hotel and staff. You treat the staff well they will treat you better!

Our stay here was probably the best hotel experience I've ever had. The woman working the front desk when we checked in on the afternoon of 8/19 (sorry for no name) was a delight and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.

We only stayed for a night because we got into town a day earlier than expected and couldn't book through our other hotel, but I'm really glad we chose this place. Everywhere I travel now, I'll be checking for a Sonesta before anything else. You guys have created a loyal customer!

Very nice place to stay. Very welcoming. And clean!! My room was nice than my last studio apartment lol!

These are great extended stay rooms. I came up here for work and was able to prepare food in my room and well as wash dishes and there's a full fridge with an ice maker. You can also check out almost any kitchen appliance you need downstairs by the lobby.

Absolutely no smoking aloud which is a huge plus for me! I really enjoyed my stay here!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is convenient, very clean. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle, but still very close to great shopping and many restaurants. Convenient to the interstate. Suites are comfortable, and having essentially a full kitchen is home-like if you want to stay in. Clean laundry facilities. No where else I'll stay in West Des Moines. If there is one issue, it is that there is no oven in the kitchenette (but I understand the safety issue). Actually considering staying here for upcoming vacation. Absolutely no complaints. Wonderful facility. After several weeks away,
I returned to the hotel after sustaining an injury at home. Not only did Lisa ensure all needs for the handicapped room were in place but she brought all my luggage etc in from my vehicle. I cannot say enough positive things about the hotel and the staff. On a 5 Star rating, I give them an 8.

My husband and I spent one night here with our Chihuahua. It was a totally positive experience! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and smelled great. The bed was comfotable. Location is great, close to everything and yet quiet and away from bright light. We enjoyed our stay and will be back sometime.

Very nice room. I liked the door between the sitting area and the bedroom. The kitchen area was surprisingly large and a big work table. They also allowed our pup to stay overnight.

We had a very pleasant and peaceful one night stay. There was a full kitchen and abundant table space, so it felt like a home rather than hotel. I imagine this would be ideal for extended stays.

Candlewood Suites is a great location in West Des Moines right off the freeway. The workers are friendly and the interior has a very cozy but practical look. It's an extended stay hotel with a lending locker where you are able to borrow appliances and other items.

The room was great and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There are DVDs for rent and reasonably priced snacks available near the lobby. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

A nice hotel to stay in. A few pointers, the hotel is hidden pretty well behind other buildings and the turn in to the lot is difficult to find at night. Also, for some reason there were a bunch of commercial trucks parked in their lot which was confusing 😕

The room was nice though and definitely worth 5 stars for the price.

Great way access from interstate. Nice clean modern room with a comfy bed. Lots of area eating options and just a few minutes from Jordan Creek mall area.

It was perfect! My girlfriend and I wanted to have a little get away but not leave town and not only was it upscale but she was so happy she was dancing around the room! Best experience that we could have had!

No problem im actually staying with my husband mike mercik but just wanted to let everyone know how awesome service with staffing is as well as the great amenities that cone along with I encourage others to visit candlewood hotel when in need of a room will not be disappointed im pretty sure my husband agrees once again thank u for everything! It very nice place wish I would found this place when I first become homeless would never stayed no where else the staff are wonderful the gm matt he grate couldn't ask for better place I stayed in this but I stayed in many hotels but all never stay in no other one if I can help it I can't say enough about this place and there staff warm friendly they have treated me and my love of my life witch is Jax very well Jax is my baby he is my little dog so the you rock

Clean, comfortable rooms with best water pressure I've had in a hotel. The showers really feel good and the bed is nice and soft.

Very nice hotel my room had a stove a microwave a fridge they had other cooking appliances near the front desk to check out and use as well. They had free fast WiFi and it was really quiet and nice.

When in Des Moines. I always stay here on business. Good location. Rooms are clean. Staff makes you feel like your family.
