Sleep Inn Waukee-West Des Moines

This was the most comfortable sleep I've had in a long time. Location is off the highway but not too close, so I heard no noise. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Front desk associate was outgoing and helpful, even at my midnight arrival with not reservation. I genuinely loved my experience here. I would have been happy at twice the price, so the extremely reasonable rate was an added bonus.

I'm writing this review from another Sleep Inn down the highway (800 miles or so) in Erie, PA from an equally comfortable bed. Night staff at this location is also excellent.

I stayed here twice while traveling for the holidays and it was very nice! The staff was great from the front desk (Isaac) to the breakfast person. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, close enough to I 80 yet very quiet, no hwy noise. Very clean, extremely comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Everything like new, would definitely stay again.

I stay here every time I am in town on business. This is a very clean, comfortable motel. The breakfast is good and the service is always top notch

Amazing. Looks brand new. Totally friendly staff. Came in off the highway after a long day's drive and was treated like I'd just come off an aircraft. That's a welcome. Not a judgement. Breath of fresh air. The friendly young gent also made it very clear there was a complementary laundry . Along with the other complementary services and breakfast I felt so at ease. Lovely clean airy rooms with real windows. Great nights sleep. Everything in the room worked like new. Bed was perfect. Close to the main travel route but not a sound. My much better half and I will definitely come here next time we are near Des Moines.

Visited family staying at this sleep in, greeted at the desk by friendly staff, enjoyed the pool. Room was current and Brite, clean and quiet. Will recommend visiting friends and family to check it out! Reasonable rates also.

I don't usually write reviews, but wanted to give this hotel a 5 star review. We stayed last weekend for a bicycle ride on the Raccoon River Valley trail, and this is 4 miles from the trail head, with great trails all the way there. Hotel is new, super clean, very nice, very friendly staff. +++

For a stay in Waukee, you can't go wrong for comfort, service, location or price. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and staff is always welcoming. Breakfasts are good and the fresh coffee is always on. I have yet to have a complaint or issue with this location and this is our go-to place when visiting family in waukee.

After a long 12 hour day of driving (with a cat!), we were exhausted and frustrated and stressed, and this hotel and Isaac at the front desk made it all worth it. We booked this morning after seeing the amazing reviews and drove an hour further than planned just to stay here and I wouldn't change a thing

My husband and I were traveling from CT to CA and this was one of our stops along the way. This is by far the best place we have stayed at in a while, even compared to hotels in our old local area. Checking in took less than 5 minutes and the front desk staff was super friendly, room was super clean, bed was comfy, they have nice big TVs, a spacious shower and complimentary breakfast! 10/10 would recommend!!

Everything was just fantastic!! Great Hotel. Dog Friendly, Pool OPEN, Breakfast was good (biscuits and gravy), Closed captioning available on TV. Ice machine on every floor. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Beautiful hotel clean comfortable beds. I will gladly stay here anytime again. The only issue is make sure your navigation system is up to date. Grand Prairie Parkway is fairly new and this address was a little difficult to find.

The clerk said the hotel had been open just 5 months (as of Feb 2021). The place was very clean and modern. Beds were super comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. Curtains made the room nice and dark. I had the kind of deep sleep where you wake up and you aren't sure where you are. Good stuff.

Room and pool very clean 👌 I love the pillows the minute I laid down I was knock-down sleept well 💤 Breakfast was also good.

The most pleasant hotel stay we have had. Friendly staff and quiet hotel. Comfy beds. Our room was clean, and most importantly it smelled new and fresh- no harsh cleaners no sickly carpet powder smell or mildew. I have asthma, and hotel rooms are always so miserable for me. I am a neat freak and germaphobe. Other than the corners of the room where a few touches had been missed, our room was spotless and our linens clean. Nice little breakfast in the morning, and greatly appreciated access to drinks and coffee in the evening and ability to purchase bottled drinks. We recently came back from Georgia and our hotels along our roadtrip did not have anything or vending. It makes you appreciate small things! Nice little pool- there was a touch of a rust issue going on at the water fountain and stairs at the pool from the moisture, but overall it a a nice new hotel and would highly recommend.

We have come to love some of the staff here. It's our go-to spot for visiting relatives in the area. Good value for the price. We prefer the side with the larger rooms and small kitchen area.

Nice and clean hotel. It is a newer hotel for sure. Great location by the gas station and convenience shop. Also the room has microwave and mini fridge. 👍🏼 highly recommend.
